We love staying at Tradewinds and were thrilled to find availability at Sabrina’s condo. Communication was perfect and the property had everything we needed.
I have visited multiple very nice VBRO rental properties over the past 7 years, however this was the first time I felt like I visited a good friend's fine home! The condo was exceptionally clean, and had a warm, comfortable tone. It contained all the little things that so many of the others seemed to lack. The level of thoughtfulness, preparation and attention to detail displayed by these great hosts has ensured that I will request to visit again...Thank you very much for a wonderful experience!
We had a great stay and this location is a real hidden gem, especially for a Fall getaway. The beach is uncrowded and so many options for food and entertainment.
We will be back!
I use VRBO often and Sabrina is hands down the best owner I've dealt with. She will do anything in her power to see that you enjoy your stay. The condo and location were everything promised and more.
Great location for a beach vacation. Not to crowded, but close enough to restaurants and stores. The condo is a little dated, But super clean and well organized and supplied. Check in and Check out was a breeze. We will be back.
Once upon a time… This condo is situated on Crescent Beach, a short drive to St. Augustine, America’s oldest city. We had very windy and rainy weather but that didn’t keep us down. We explored Old Town and ate a lot of wonderful food. The condo host thought of everything. Little details that shows she takes pride in her property and her host duties. I caught the sun out some and was able to try the pool out. The whole area was pristinely clean and the bathroom was immaculate. I recommend this unit to anyone that hasn’t marked St. Augustine off their travel list. The unspoiled beauty will send you back to your childhood days.
~The End~
We had a wonderful time in this condo. The best thing about it was all of the extra items in the condo. We have stayed at many hotels or rentals and I’ve never had so many additional items available to use in the condo. It was so nice to not have to buy extra sunblock, spices, beach stuff or cooking materials, etc. They were even extra phone chargers available near the couch. The extra touches were very thoughtful. The place felt very comfortable and homey, although the bathroom could use a renovation, but we’re hoping to come back soon. Also, the owner was incredibly responsive to all of my little questions.
This wonderful condo is located right on the beach in Crescent Beach- perfect for morning walks on the beach! Close to carry your stuff to the beach and the best part is the beach was basically empty. There was also a lovely pool. Condo is on the 3rd floor offering great views from a furnished deck. Gorgeous sunset views from the front door over the intercoastal waterway which is right across the street. Comfortable living room and 2 bedrooms along with 2 baths and fully equipped kitchen.
St. Augustine is about 15 minutes away but being in Crescent Beach you are away from the crowds in St. A. Peace and quiet and a private beach- who could ask for anything more?
Picture the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean and setting over the Matanzas River. Now picture yourself experiencing both from your vacation rental. We did not have to leave the condo to see the most fabulous displays nature had to offer. Needless to say the location on Anastasia Island was perfect: twenty minutes from historic downtown St. Augustine and just a few to the beautiful Washington Oaks Park and Fort Matanzas.
The condo was immaculate and the furniture very comfortable. The bed was exceptionally so! And the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare any meal when not enjoying one of many local restaurants.
Our Hostess Sabrina checked in with us to ensure we were comfortable and to answer any questions. She was a delight and made me feel like a welcome guest in her home. Thank you so much!
We had a great stay. The unit was very nice and well supplied, including nice thoughtful little touches. The views of ocean and the Inter Coastal Waterway were beautiful. The owner was in touch the first couple of days to make sure everything was OK and then let us enjoy our stay, which was appropriate. The unit had easy access to the elevator and handicapped parking. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would book the same unit again.
Property is very nice, beautiful view, and in a good location near restaurants and grocery but not in a busy touristy area. Host Sabrina was very flexible when we had to change our original May reservation to Nov. and responds quickly to communications. Unfortunately our stay was when hurricane Nicole hit so we didn't get to enjoy the beach much but we would definitely return.
We loved the condo! It was very easy to get into the condo which was very nice! Everything was perfect. The master bed was very comfortable and my granddaughters said the twins were great too. No complaints only compliments.
This is probably the best stocked condo we have ever stayed in. It was clean, had tons of cooking supplies, and was quiet. The owner was easily reachable and offered suggestions on things to do. Would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful beach. Nice property! We watched the sun come up over the ocean, and went across the street to see the sun go down over the river. Communication was excellent.
We had a fabulous week on Crescent Beach. The condo was great and equipped with anything you may need. The beach was beyond beautiful. The facilities at the condo are top notch and everyone was so friendly. Parking is easy with lots of great restaurants nearby. Sabrina made checking in and out a breeze. St. Augustine in general is a great place to explore, with lots of things for adults and teens to do. Can’t wait to come back!
Condo was spotless... everything worked and high end appliances were a bonus with dishwasher and filtered water in the fridge. The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive to any texts or emails.
VERY DATED FLORIDA STYLE. LIGHTING IN LIVING ROOM VERY DARK, COULD NOT READ A BOOK AT NIGHT. MASTERBATH WATER TASTED LIKE SEWAGE. HORRIBLE. BATH TUB MAT DISGUSTING. PREFERRED SECOND BATHROOM. SAW AND KILLED SILVERFISH. LOVELY SETTTING. WORTH DOING SOME DEEP CLEANING AND UPDATING.
My husband and I recently spent 10 days at this wonderful condo at Crescent Beach. Everything was perfect. All we needed was at hand and communication with the owner was excellent. Since we were there at Christmas time, there were lovely Christmas touches - twinkling coloured lights on the balcony, a small decorated tree, Christmas tea towels and hand towels, a Christmas tablecloth on the table, Christmas napkins and various ornaments throughout. Thank you Sabrina for making our Christmas memorable in sunny Florida!

We are native North Florida residence and like to extend all the southern charm we have been noted for. We own two restaurants, and believe customer service is key in having repeat customers. We are looking to make your experience so good you will want to keep coming back each year. We currently live on the St. Johns River in Fleming Island and like to think of ourselves as water people. We have four acres of unspoiled property with two boats with a 400 ft dock.. So we were very picky about where we wanted a second home. It had to be unique and offer more than any other place on the beach and we feel we found it here at Tradewinds. Folks have been coming to this property for 20+ years with their families because of its many amenities. Rent once and you will want to become a regular renter. I do feel like all the renters start feeling like family and have always been very respectful of the Condo and the property. Growing up in Florida you tend to want to stay away from the crowds and just enjoy the natural beauty of North Florida. We might have a southern draw, but you can pretty much figure out we are speaking English. I get back to inquires very quickly and try and call the person directly to answer all questions they might have. I get tired of getting voice mails and not specking to a person that has never even been in the Condo I might want to rent. So I am available to my guest when they need something.
Why they chose this property
We had looked at the Daytona area but it was much too congested and not the natural setting that we get looking out at the water on both sides of the Complex. We looked at several complexes on the beach and this one offered everything you would want in a Condo on the beach. We have a boat and like to go sailing, kayaking ,and my husband can take his Sea Ray out because we have our own private boat ramp with boat storage so the Intercoastal Waterway was a big plus. This beach is unspoiled part of old Florida. Living in Florida you don't want to be crowded and have to stand in line for amenities. The added feature of the private fishing dock and boat ramp made it a must for us to have our second home here.
What makes this property unique
This is the kind of place Marjorie K. Rawlings wrote about in Cross Creek an seen in 'The Yearling' This is the Florida that Jimmy Buffet sings about....Good ole A1A off the beaten path of crowds and tourist. Fort Matanzas is just south of us and has free admission for your family. There are very Many State Parks in the area. Its a very unspoiled area. Just a Beautiful Beach and lots of sun and great place to throw out your fishing rod. You can fish from the Beach for saltwater fish or on our private dock which is lighted and has a fish cleaning station and is located on the Matanzas River. We have fishing rods for the children and two more for adults with tackle. If your looking for live bait Devils Elbow is about a mile North on the River side of the street. We have Beach towels and Ice chest for your visit.
