Hawaii paradise
We had the best time at our VRBO. The house was beautiful. The host was so accommodating. They answer our text right away. The pool was amazing. We would definitely book here again.

Wonderful Vacation!
The experience couldn’t have been better! The house is lovely and was just what our family was looking for in being a home away from home in paradise. The house was full of useful amenities - kitchen is fully stocked; the laundry is great; and there is everything you need for the beach!The location is very close to town but far enough away to feel completely relaxed.Our family would absolutely stay here again!

Maui Vacay
This place is described accurately and met all our expectations. We cooked several meals and the kitchen and grill were well suited and stocked for our needs. The living space was comfortable, and it was especially nice to open the sliding doors to experience the lanai. The outdoor pool/hot tub were welcome to have as well as the view of the ocean which allowed us to watch beautiful sunsets. To be fair, the proximity to the beach allowed us to quickly get there and watch sunsets on the beach! Communication and assistance from the owners was prompt and helpful. If we were to return, we'd definitely consider rebooking this place again!

Great house and location!
Every kitchen amenity is available. The pool and hot tub area are amazing. So much outdoor seating is available. The grill was super clean! The beds were comfortable. Needed some bedding for the pull out twin beds in living room. Some privacy curtains on huge windows for the living room would have been nice for those sleeping in there. A couple other things to improve which I messaged the owner about and he was always very responsive and kind!! A current instructional book with how to access WiFi, tv controls, A/C controls, shades, pool etc…

Great Home/Convenient Location
We truly enjoyed out stay at Troy and Dianna's property. The house is clean, comfortable, and close to the beaches, shopping, restaurants as well as an easy jump on the highway to upcountry and the airport. Troy was excellent at communicating with us.

Perfect Maui House
We loved our time at the house. It was beautiful with everything we needed. Very comfortable and easy to navigate. The pool and hot tub were amazing. I highly recommend this house. The hosts were easy to work with and accommodating.

Wonderful stay in Maui
Our stay was wonderful. Troy and Dianna were excellent hosts. The house was extremely clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well stocked, and beach gear was available. The property is short driving distance to many beaches, shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. When sitting by the pool, it feels like you are on your own island as there is beautiful landscaping creating privacy from the neighbors. We were comfortable with 8 guests as there are two twin pull out ottomans in the living room. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful home and host
This location and set up was perfect for our family. Georgeous view of the sunsets over maui. Pool and hot tub were great to have w kids. The kitchen was well equipped and home was clean. There were a few minor maintenance issues - tv and hot water - which Troy addressed promptly. The grill has seen better days and needs a good cleaning but we were able to make due. We loved our stay and will remember it and Maui always!

Great location and amazing amenities.
My wife and I were excited to take our five kids back to Maui and experience the island again. After a few days at the Westin we wanted a slower pace and something away from a resort. We were more than happy with the house. The pool and hot tub are amazing and the location is great. This was our third time to Maui but our first time in South Maui. Our favorite beach and best snorkeling with three turtles was 4 minutes from the house. Despite how amazing the accommodations are, Troy and Dianna are still probably the best part of the rental. Very easy to get a hold of and a wealth of information about the island. Would definitely stay there again and really enjoy the memories our family was able to make there.

Wonderful Vacation!
The location is perfect. Even the drive to the beach is short, easily accessed and was never that busy. We tried other beaches, but kept coming back to that one anyway! The pool is amazing and the views are gorgeous. The house was spacious and had absolutely everything we could have needed. Finally, Troy and Dianna are fantastic! I instantly felt like when I met them I had known them for years. There was a gas strike by some of the workers that led to some shortage issues and I can't say enough about how far they bent over backwards to make sure our trip wasn't impacted. I would highly recommend this stay. It's the quintessential slice Hawaiian paradise we were looking for. Our family will definitely be back!

A perfect home & location for our family vacation
We stayed a full week at the property & loved it! I booked it for the outdoor space & was so happy it was actually what the pictures looked like. It was spacious & inviting. The beds were all comfy & the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing I didn’t love was the AC was set on a 6 hour timer. I understand why, but the second master didn’t have an overhead fan, so it wasn’t as cool. But overall it was good enough. Troy was super nice & there were some thoughtful additions like beach chairs & a cooler we used. The location was also centrally located to many things. I hope to return .

Nice Location, beautiful spot but needs more maintenance
We enjoyed our stay. The owners are nice and helpful. The Location is very nice and the view is great, but unfortenately it needs more maintenance. The Pool tiles are decrepit at the edges, the Jacuzzi has a layer of filth because it didnt got clean for a while. Other then that it´s just little things which bother after a while, it´s very difficult to open and close the sliding door of the living room, he wants extra money for burning the torches. Kitchen is well equippt. Nice living room with big TV. Owner lives right next door.

A Wonderful Stay
We stayed at Troy and Dianna’s property for 10 days February 2023. We are a family of three couples plus an infant. The hosts were super friendly, thoughtful and helpful, responding quickly to any questions we had both before and during our stay. The home was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed plus more. Washer/dryer, plenty of towels, booster seat with tray for the baby, toilet paper, dish soap, coffee, …. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, and loved using the hot tub every night. They had beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkel gear, boogie boards for use on beach days which we really appreciated. The drive to the beach and shops was about 5 minutes. “Our” Maui home was in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood. We could not have asked for anything more. We had a truly wonderful stay! Troy and Dianna, Thank you so much for everything!

Little Gem
Our family and nanny stayed here in May. It was so nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood that was also very close to the beach, markets, and restaurants. The house itself is the perfect setup...parents on one side and two other bedrooms on the other. Because the master bedroom was so spacious, we had our 8 month old twins (each in a separate pack n play) in our room. This gave the nanny a very private oasis on the other side of the house, with her own nicely appointed bathroom. The kitchen, dining room, and livingroom were all open which was fabulous (our boys were just learning to crawl and there was a lot of nice hardwood floor open space). But the best part of the house were the livingroom windows/sliding glass doors that looked out over the beautiful backyard and infinity pool. These window/doors completely opened the span of the room and made the backyard a theoretical extension of the house. It was wonderful to wake up, open up, and have our coffee and breakfast outside. The pool was a perfect temp and gave us a nice option when we didn't want to visit the beach. The backyard also had a built-in BBQ (which we used almost every night) and a fire pit where we made s'mores one evening. The kitchen was completely stocked with appliances and utensils and there was also a newer washer/dryer for us to use. The owners were very personable. We found them to be helpful and responsive even before we arrived on the island. In short, we look forward to staying here the next time that we are in Maui (hopefully, it will be available). We loved it!

Cockroach motel and disappoinment. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
Where do I begin? Minutes into your stay, you begin to understand you are not getting what you just paid a lot of money for. It is unadvertised that the air conditioning is not only on a 6 hour timer, BUT you have ZERO control over the temperature AND it is stuck at 76 degrees? THE BACK PATIO DOORS DO NOT LOCK without someone strong standing outside and pushing the door closed while someone locks it from the inside. So when you leave, your stuff is in an unlocked house! The pool was dirty because the pool pump was broken for 2 days and they only run the pump for 3 hours a day. The beds are not only hard and uncomfortable, but the right side of the master bedroom bed is sloped towards the floor so badly that we have to put a pillow between the mattress and box spring just to make sleeping somewhat level. The 2 air mattresses need continuous filling as they are so worn they leak air daily. The double shower heads looked as if they had not been cleaned in a very long time so much so that many did not work properly. Of course the dishwasher didn’t work until the owner showed us his trick to get it closed. The best part? We noticed one cockroach being eaten by ants next to the toilet one day but did not think much of it. It’s a tropical island, it happens, right? Well, where there is one there became dozens of cockroaches all over the house. AND to top it off we had 2 massive Maui centipedes house guests! There is also an unadvertised BOOK OF RULES. Owners are not supposed to throw a thick book of rules that you did not agree to AFTER you pay them. We also paid a “cleaning fee” and a deposit. However, the owners have a 2 page “existing check list” including washing dishes, towels, removing bed sheets, taking the trash to the street, etc. We got an owner visit on the last day to inquire if we had any “questions about the check out check list”. Why did we pay a cleaning fee? But, of course, if you don’t do it, the owners may withhold your deposit. Overall, you have what could be a great place to stay but too many things needing attention. Not allowing proper use of the air conditioning, not buying good beds, not spending money on electric to clean the pool properly, not properly fumigating the house, not fixing the dishwasher, and NOT FIXING THE LOCK ON THE DOOR are all examples.

Hawaiian Trip August 2022
I was skeptical of renting through any rental agency but renting this house through VRBO was the best decision I could have made for our party of 7. Troy and Diana were perfect hosts and the house was everything that was advertised.... warm and inviting, very clean, great location, unbelievable views- especially sunsets, well appointed- really could not think of anything else that they could have provided. This is the perfect place to stay in Maui.... after our many adventures, we would return to a beautiful, quiet, peaceful environment with a pool, fire-pit, and spacious patio to relax! We liked it so much that we are talking about returning in the near future.... plus we are going to recommend this property to everyone we know!! Thanks Troy and Diana:)

Perfect Location
Our family of 4 had a wonderful Maui vacation, with Troy and Dianna's property being an excellent base for our trip. The location of the house was perfect, with easy access to all that Maui has to offer. The house itself was very clean and the pool and hot tub were definitely a highlight. Also, Troy and Dianna were very responsive and caring. One thing I am going to mention, that I like to know about a property in advance, is that I would not categorize this property as upscale or luxurious at least compared to other properties we have rented. It is very nice, but aspects are a bit dated such as the carpeting and the living room furniture (while other aspects have been updated). Also, there is now a fence at the back of the property behind the pool.

We love this area of Maui. The small town way of life with all the beaches and things to do. Plus the excitement of tourism and resort life to balance everything out.

What makes this property unique

What we love about our home is the ocean view just beyond the pool and spa when you first enter though the front door. The beautiful kitchen, bathrooms, living area. The built in barbecue and fire pit not to mention the vaulted wood ceilings.
