This spacious contemporary condo is bright, clean, sunny and cheerful with gorgeous ocean views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and the large private balcony. You can relax while overlooking the promenade, the dunes, and the wide stretch of beach and ocean. While drinking our coffee in the morning, we watch the playful dolphins below as the sun rises over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
We bought a new king size bed for the master bedroom and replaced one of the regular standard-size beds in the second bedroom with a queen-size bed. So now the condo has a king-size bed in the master bedroom, and one standard-size bed and one queen-size bed in the second bedroom, making enough room for 6 people to sleep comfortably. We also purchased two 90' sofas for the living room so if someone wants to sleep separately, they can sleep on one of the sofas in the living room.
We purchased a new contemporary dining room set with six chairs. All beds have new comforter sets making the entire condo very clean and fresh.
We have also purchased three new televisions, one for each bedroom and the living room. They have flat screens and hang on the walls, making for more spacious living.
In addition to repainting the entire condo, we replaced the window treatments in the master bedroom. They now have beautiful contemporary shutters.
We have replaced the entire set of balcony door and windows across the front of the balcony and back into the master bedroom. It had become faulty and now it is working beautifully and the glass windows and door are perfectly clear.
The washer/dryer and the dishwasher in the kitchen have been replaced with new ones. The refrigerator has also been replaced.
The hall bathroom and the kitchen have recently been renovated. New porcelain tile floors were added throughout the living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen. We also opened up the kitchen by knocking out two walls giving a more open feel to the condo. We are excited about our new look. We renovated the master bathroom also!
In 2018 we placed keyless locks on our outside door, making keyless entry possible. No more keys to return to the owner after your stay.
We love the wide stretch of private beach for Sea Colony guests only. There are life guards on the beach in the summer. We have filled our beach locker in the first floor garage with beach chairs and toys which are available to you during your stay in our condo. It is much less crowded than the beach in town, and much much less crowded than Rehobeth or Ocean City beaches.
Sea Colony has 24-hour security. A vacation in Sea Colony can run the gamut from beach fun to tax-free shopping to golfing, tennis and water sports. The privacy of the 'quiet resort' allows guests to sunbathe and enjoy the soothing ocean breezes in peace. Amusement parks and outlet shopping centers are not far and they provide more variety of family-friendly fun.
This world-class resort tennis facility offers an astounding 34 courts along with tennis clinics, camps and lessons by teaching professionals. Golf courses nearby include two dozen courses featuring waterfront and forest layouts designed by Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player.
Sea Colony also organizes weekly events such as bingo, camp fires on the beach, and other fun family activities.
The town of Bethany is only 1/2 mile north of Sea Colony, an easy walk to the boardwalk, restaurants, bakeries, bookstore, and many other specialty shops. The library in town allows summer vacationers to get a card and use their services which include a nice variety of DVDs and books. We enjoy many of the fine restaurants in Bethany and Oceanview, and if you want to go a bit further, Fenwick, Rehobeth, and Ocean City also have many great restaurants.

The guest passes Sea Colony requires of all renters age 4 and up are purchased at check in at Marketplace. They vary according to season. The costs for the guest passes for 2025-2026 are below:
1/1/25 - 5/2/24: $15, 5/3/25 - 6/6/25: $25, 6/7/25 - 9/12/25: $55,
9/13/25 - 9/19/25: $25, 9/20/25 - 3/31/25: $15
With two guest pass fees, you get one reserved parking space in the garage under the building. With 3 or more guests pass fees, you get two parking passes, one reserved in the garage under the building and one in larger outdoor parking lot.
We now also have a keyless entry to the condo. No more keys to send back to owner.
