Beach Cottage Just 1 1/2 Blocks To The Beach

This sun filled home is ten years young. Open floor plan, built with most modern conveniences offered. Hardwood floors throughout, smart TV in every room, kitchen stocked with most all cooking utensils. One bedroom with a king bed, one with queen bed, one with two twins and a full sleep sofa in the living room.

For outdoor living: the front porch and modest sized yard have sun exposure all day long, gas grill to cook on, a picnic table to eat on and a private outside shower. Off-street parking for 2-3 cars.

This home is just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach, just walk to all that Dewey has to offer. A short bike ride, car ride or Jolly Trolly to Rehoboth Beach.

Great Dewey Spot

Nice Cottage- Great Location

If you are looking for a great location, this cottage is a great find. Overall, the home is nice with plenty of space. We were there for a few days during the off season so no issues with noise (Dewey can be loud in the summer). Our only issues were the mattresses, with the Queen mattress being really bad (we both couldn't make it through the night using it), the decor and furniture is nice/beachy but worn down, and the house overall was clean but not super clean. To get to the beach you simply walk across the Route 1 and you are also walking distance to all the bars and restaurants which is great. This cottage is a better stay than any Dewey hotel.

Just what we were looking for!

Another great Dewey Beach property!

This was our first 'fall' weekend visit to Dewey and this great town never disappoints. This lovely, comfortable home was a perfect home base. We hope to return!

Perfect for a romantic getaway

We stayed here for a few nights in October for a quiet retreat. The house was exactly what we wanted. Very clean, modern and stylish with all the amenities we needed. Loved the gas fireplace after a cool evening walk on the beach. Located on a quiet street close to the beach and great bars and restaurants. We hardly had to drive anywhere. Hosts were very friendly and super accommodating when we had an unexpected change in plans. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful

The house was perfect for my family’s weekend getaway! We had perfect weather. We enjoyed the walk to the beach, close to bars/restaurants and short drive to Rehoboth Beach for the day. The house had all we needed and was very clean.

Weekend getaway

The property is beautifully decorated and immaculate. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen was very well equipped for a longer stay. The house is in a great location as well -an easy walk to the beach, bay and restaurants and bars. We had six adults in our group and had plenty of space.

Perfect House for a Long Weekend

Staying in Dewey for LDW has been a tradition for my friends and I and we could not have asked for a better house! The house is beautiful with a nice large open first floor, so we could all hang out together without it feeling crowded. Location was great with a short walk to the beach and even shorter to some of the best bars! Would recommend this house to anyone staying for a week or weekend! Hopefully we can book it again for LDW next year!

Enjoyable Vacation

The property was in good condition and worked well for us. It has a well stocked kitchen (utensils, etc.), great air conditioning and good floor plan. The walk to the beach is short as well as the walk to shops and restaurants.

Great home for a family or pretty much anyone.

Beautiful, well layed-out, clean home. Plenty of room for a family of five. The home was well supplied with both kitchen and beach gear and is only a short walk to the beach. We went off-season and the beaches were empty and beautiful to walk on, particularly at sunrise.

A native of Washington DC, I grew up going to the Delaware beaches. I am now married with three children and continuing the tradition by going to this home, our home, in Dewy Beach. We treasure this home and the memories it gives us.

Why they chose this property

The original home, built in 1960, was demolished in 2012. This home's new construction was completed August 2013.

This home is new, clean and a great location. Just about 1800 square feet, it provides for a cozy beach vacation.

You could park your car upon arrival and not have to get back in the car until it is time to leave at the end of your vacation. Bring your sunscreen, books, beach chairs, bicycles, paddle boats and vacation.
