About this property

The cabin is located on Bridge Lake in the heart of British Columbia’s Cariboo. Bridge Lake is an easy 5½ hour drive from Vancouver, British Columbia. Bridge Lake has some of the best scenery and untouched wilderness in the province. This area offers a wide variety of activities during summer, fall, and winter. Fishing, hiking, canoeing, bird watching, sailing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, and winter sports such as cross country skiing and snowmobiling are just some of the activities to be enjoyed.

The cabin is located on the east shore of Greenall Bay facing west. This allows for all day sun and spectacular sunsets in the evening. It is a quiet, peaceful, protected bay with only a few cabins along the shore. The waterfront is a great place to spend the day relaxing. Our private beach and dock provides safe swimming and safe moorage for your boat.

If fishing is your passion then this area is for you. Bridge Lake is located on Hwy 24, also know as the 'Fishing Hwy'. Hwy 24 connects the towns of Little Fort and 100 Mile House. There are hundreds of quality lakes accessible from Hwy 24, some of which are well know 'trophy lakes' such as Sheridan Lake, Fawn Lake, Irish Lake, Boneparte Lake, and Lac de Roche.

Wonderful fully equiped house

Had a great week with our family of six in this superbly equiped house on the lake. The dock was very convenient for accessing our two boats. Owners are very helpful.

Spacious House on the Lake

This house has everything one needs for a great family vacation in the Cariboo. The private dock easily accommodated our 14' and 19' boats. No problems, and the owner was quick to respond to queries.

A perfect family get away

Amazing place! Stocked with absolutely everything, except linens. A great dock, perfectly calm lake for water sports. Husband loved the fishing. Breathtaking sunsets every night.

Beautiful location on lake. Had everything we needed for trip. Lots of fridge/freezer space, kitchen well provided and nice to have the BBQ. Can't say enough about this property. We always enjoy our stay and fishing was good this trip.

Awesome place!

We loved our family time at the Cooper Cabin on Bridge Lake! Lots of room for all of us. Well equipped!! Good fishing, calm and quiet setting., nice dock for our boat and the grandkids enjoyed the refreshing lake!! Lots of fun memories made! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

great place

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is large and very well equipped (remember to bring your bedding and pillows). The extra fridge in the basement allowed us to keep a weeks worth of meals and drinks cold with room to spare. The kids loved playing with the pool table, and we did lots of fishing and kayaking. The view of the lake and sunset is fantastic. The mosquitos were everywhere but that's expected after such a rainy spring.

Had a wonderful stay!

We loved this place, we have rented a lot of lake houses and this was one of the best that we have stayed at. So much space and fully stocked with everything you need! It’s on a quiet part of the lake and the dock was great for swimming. The fishing was good too for July too. Overall we had a really great time and will definitely come back again :)

Better Than Expected

The house was much larger than the impression from the website. It has a well appointed kitchen and a very comfortable living area with a great fireplace and plenty of wood. The bedrooms were scattered among the 3 levels. There are 2 queens on the main level with their own bathrooms which is what we occupied. The bedroom with the king size bed was in the basement with another bedroom which was rather odd. We really only used the main level and deck so plenty of room for 4 adults for the week. There was a gas fire pit on the lower deck which was nice on cold nights for star gazing. We didn't see any gas for it so we used our own tank. And it has a very large grill but it cooks very irregularly. After great effort to clean it we got it working a bit better. There's a nice 2 tier deck with views of the lake. There's also an excellent dock that's easy to motor up to. You'll need to make your own boat arrangements though if you want to be out on the lake. Be aware though that this lake has many shallow areas and broken propellers are common with people unfamiliar with the lakescape. The location is easy to get to and we found it very quiet. Partly because all the holiday users had left with only a few fishing boats on the lake. All in all it's a lovely home with plenty of quiet, privacy and comfort which is just what we were looking for.

Beauty on Bridge Lake

We had an amazing holiday and can’t thank you enough for opening your beautiful cabin to us. We are so grateful to have spent the week enjoying the sunsets, endless dives off the dock, fish jumping right out of the crystal clear water, the list goes on. The cabin was meticulously clean upon arrival and pride of ownership shows throughout. Memories made will be cherished.

Excellent Vacation Property

For the past fourteen years, my three brothers and I have been getting together for an annual fishing trip and we all agreed that this spacious vacation home on Bridge Lake provided the best accommodation yet. The house was clean, well maintained (everything worked) and the kitchen well equipped. The T-shaped dock comfortably accommodated our two boats. Responses to my inquiries with the owner were answered quickly. I think we will remember the view over the sheltered bay from the living room for some time. The fishing for Kokanee was great too.

Great home in great location

Three families enjoyed a 7 night stay at this wonderful water-front cabin on Bridge Lake in Caribou District of BC. A total of 7 different sleeping locations allowed for perfect night-time separation of space for 4 grandchildren under 5 yoa. Large common living room, dining room & kitchen added to our 3 family cooking & eating experience. Large safe outdoor deck areas perfect for beach-ball soccer & hanging hammocks. Great dock space with clear cold water which tempted all for chilly dips on hot afternoons.Bonus was our opportunity to harvest morel mushrooms in the 2017 fire burned areas around Sheridan Lake. Cooler cloudy & rainy weather during the week allowed us more time for fun indoor activities (rack'em & stack'em pool) with chance to feed the local mosquitoes. In closing, a great home, with great separation of space for privacy as needed, on a beautiful lake in BC. All families agreed- we must return here!
