Perfect location with all updated amenities, this is a perfect spot for a family, or 4 gals going shopping, 4 guys going golfing, or 2 couples sharing a vacation in Door County. Two comfortable bedrooms have attached bathrooms with beautifully tiled showers, accessible from your bedroom or the hallway. Our bedrooms offer updated king beds or can be configured into twins if that better meets your needs. Enjoy cable TV or a movie from your bed. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious so you can cook in - or cook out on the grill. It is well stocked with cookware and appliances so you can enjoy fixing a meal in your home away from home. It's an easy walk to Main St Market, downtown shopping and restaurants. Sharing coffee or an afternoon refreshment on the front porch is about as pleasant as it gets. The living room is light and airy combining with the kitchen to make a spacious great room for your group. Pull up a stool to the counter and plug in your computer - the house is equipped with WIFI. Washer and dryer downstairs are also available for your use. The yard is big and pleasant, adjoining a former cherry orchard. Enjoy an evening around the fire pit! You can walk to the Marina from here, or to the beautiful Egg Harbor beach, and enjoy the free concerts at the park on Sunday afternoon's. No need for a car while in Egg Harbor at the Yellow House. .

If you prefer the privacy of a house vs a condo, give us a call. There is plenty of space here to park your boat, store your bikes, or to play with your kids in the yard. Grill up a storm...Take a run...Watch a game at the field nearby - this is a great place to chill out! If you like air conditioned bedrooms with nice beds and linens, private bathrooms for each bedroom, a well stocked kitchen, a new washer & dryer, and a comfy place to hang out, this could be the place for you! Sisters Get-Away

The location of this property is fabulous! Walk to shops and restaurants in lovely Egg Harbor. The two en suite bedrooms is soooo wonderful! Both with televisions and nice lamps for reading in bed.

Excellent vacation spot

As frequent (annual) visitors to Door County, we like to vary where we stay. This time, we were here with another couple, and the Yellow House was perfect — convenient location, great amenities, comfort, and seamless interactions with the host. We highly recommend it!

Egg harbor stay

It was perfect. We were meeting a couple of dozen friends at a local campground, and was perfect for us since we don’t camp. Beds were comfortable and we had all the conveniences of home. Plus that we had our bedroom with a king size bed and our own private bathroom and our friends that stayed with us did too

First time to Door County

We had a wonderful week in Egg Harbor and The Yellow House did not disappoint. Close proximity to everything we needed and very clean. We will come back again in the future!

Convenient and comfortable

We used the house as a landing spot for our adventures. We didn't cook, only made coffee and used the refrigerator. House size was perfect for 2 couples. Loved the porch - a little noisy, but pleasant. We stayed 4 nights, could have used more towels, but overall it was a great place to stay.

Door County Family Wine Tasting

We stayed at the yellow house for four nights. It's a great location for anything you want to experience in Door county. The beds are comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Some of our favorite stops were Stones Throw and Door Peninsula Winery, Harbor Fish and Grille in Bailey's Harbor for dinner, and The White Gull Inn in Fish Creek for breakfast. We highly recommend the Yellow House in Egg Harbor to anyone who wants to enjoy Door County!

Yellow house vacation

The place was a great location and i loved having a full house in door county. The place was exactly as described. The place was not perfect with a todler as there was no deadbolt or was to keep the outside door locked from the inside. Other than that no complaints.

All was good with the house. A little disappointed with the listing saying ‘aircondtiioning’ when we only had window units in bedrooms. Thankfully we didn’t need anything more.

Great place to stay

This property is in the middle of Door County and makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. The property is very clean and well stocked. Egg Harbor is the perfect small town with plenty to offer you.

Great Location

This property is in a perfect location - easy to go anywhere in DC from there, but within walking distance to most places in Egg Harbor. It is a comfortable home and perfect for smaller groups. The owner was very nice and easy to work with. I would for sure stay there again.

Very Attentive Owner

My husband and I and another couple stayed in the house from Sunday to Friday. We are all in our 70s and found the house very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed, if you want to cook (which we didn't.) The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lynn was a gracious and responsive host. The house is close to restaurants, grocery store and shops. Nice location!

Lovely home in Egg Harbor

We very much enjoyed staying at the yellow house. It was so cute and comfortable and walking distance to downtown EH. We loved the boutique across the street and had so much fun making smores over a fire in the back yard. We would highly recommend this property to other travelers.

Ideal location in Egg Harbor

Overall, we were very happy with this rental. It was wonderful to be in a house with a nice yard and in easy walking distance to the market and eateries and shops of Egg Harbor. We loved the front porch. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean. A few of us were unhappy with the quality of the mattresses. We could not get the TV in one of the bedrooms to function. Also, we discovered that the lack of central A/C in July was a bit of an issue. The bedrooms are easily cooled with window units but the LR and kitchen were uncomfortably warm during our stay in late July.

Another Amazing Stay at The Yellow House

Spot on description of this wonderful property. We have stayed here before and loved it so much, we booked it again. It’s a great house to just hang out, whether it’s on the beautiful porch or back at the open fire pit. The property owner is extremely responsive and truly takes care of the property. It is very clean and has great amenities, as well as it’s a premier location - walking distance to downtown Egg Harbor. You will not be disappointed!

As a person who enjoys outdoor participation, I have been active in Door County for over 50 years, since high school. I love the combination of land and water and love to share it through the Yellow House. I personally like to spend time sailing, kayaking, biking and hiking. I live on Lake Michigan in Oostburg, WI, but travel frequently to Egg Harbor to visit my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren who live in Egg Harbor year-round.

Why they chose this property

This was originally my son's first home. When he and his family outgrew it, I thought the best use of this great location would be to set it up for vacationers. It lets me share a favorite spot. My son and daughter-in-law still live nearby.

What makes this property unique

This is the first house on the right as you come into Egg Harbor, from the South. Egg Harbor is growing with many fun opportunities, and the Yellow House is close to everything. It is also convenient, and central to everything in the county. Most of the county villages are within 25 minutes with the most distant being about 45 minutes along beautiful county roads. The Yellow House meets a sojourner's needs. It's clean and functional, nothing fussy, just easy! Relax and enjoy your stay.
