2 bed, 2 bath Hecta Beach front home - Traxler's Surfside Cottage

Traxlers Surfside Cottage is a new in 2015, 1,344 square foot beach front house with amazing views and an open floor plan. The kitchen, living and dining room, are all on the main floor with stunning views of Heceta Beach. Walk out on the front deck, and take a short path to the beach. The deck also wraps around the beach side of the house, so you have a wind protected place to sit on those windy summer days.

You'll also find a queen bedroom, a full size stack washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with a shower bathtub combo on the main floor. The kitchen features stainless appliances and granite countertops. You'll find a full size dishwasher, a built in wall oven, microwave, and a separate glass cooktop.

The master bedroom is upstairs, with a king size bed, stunning views, a sitting area, an electric fireplace and it's own wind protected deck. There is also another bathroom, on this floor, with a shower bathtub combo. With this view, you'll never want to get out of bed. You'll also find a table to setup a laptop and hold a zoom meeting away from the rest of the group,

The street side of the house has a driveway where you can park a truck and ATV Trailer - plus an additional car.

Beautiful seaside cottage , right next to a gorgeous beach!

I actually thought I was at the wrong cottage when I first arrived. I was pleasantly suprised at how lovely it was and the view , amazing! Just a 5 minute drive into town for essentials .

Great Heceta Beach House

What a nice house right on Heceta Beach. You couldn't ask for a better location. Great views from the lower and upper decks and from the bench in the back yard. Well furnished, comfortable, spacious and easy to get to. Everything worked great. Just steps from the beach and close to everything that the central Oregon coast has to offer. Great instructions were provided, and access was easy. We had the best time on our 10 day stay and the home was a very good value for the price. I would recommend the property and would stay again. There was a book to view the Traxler Anchor family story of the original cabin to the present-day home. Thanks, Traxler family for making our vacation memorable.

We’ll stay again!

Beautiful location and wonderfully peaceful. We spent much of our evenings on “Mom’s Bench “ in the backyard that overlooked the beach and ocean. House was homey and set up well. Perfect for 2 couples. Can’t wait to come back!

Anniversary Stay & Pups’ 1st Beach Visit

Easy drive, great location, dog-friendly, relaxing, comfortable, accessible, cozy well-built home. My only wish would be to have a king bed in 2nd bedroom to allow for the option of having 2 adult couples with pets to stay at the house. Just a thought. :) We had a wonderful time, and hope to return with another couple at some point. Thank you!

Fabulous beach house

Everything about Traxlers is top notch! Extremely well appointed kitchen, lots of towels, comfy furniture and beds, but most of all the location! Just breathtaking! So close to town but in its own little beach haven. The management is wonderful and attentive to our needs. The best ever!

My daughters senior summer trip, surf edition

This was our big trip this year! Two Kids, two dogs, and lots of high expectations. When I say that this home exceeded our expectations, that’s an understatement. Not only is the location perfect but the house is set up for being next to the beach. The floors are meant to get dirty with sand. The sofas have material that can handle kids returning from the beach. The house was stocked with extra linens and towels for everyone, including our dogs. Made it so easy to cover the beds and keep them clean from the pups. The kitchen is stocked with almost every gadget a foodie (or parent) would need, even plastic kiddie dishes! The resources left by the family are so thoughtfully organized, it made it easier to find out about the town of Florence and what was available. Not that we left the house, except for the grocery store (less than 2 miles away is a Fred Meyer) and other beaches to surf. We loved this place and will definitely be back!!

Amazing Beachfront!

The view, the beach, the house was 100% outstanding! We had never slept so good away from home until this house, the rolling ocean waves and cool ocean breeze was perfect for the soul and made our Oregon Trail tour even better! Perfect Get Away

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our time and did a little more searching out of the area and what is available. We were able to visit the Haceta Lighthouse and town of Yachats. Both are recommended. The beachfront is always enjoyable.

Beautiful cottage , great location!

Very clean and tastefully decorated. Well appointed kitchen including a Keurig coffee maker. Easy access to the beach. Well maintained cottage and yard. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Lovely house in a beautiful spot!

We had such a wonderful week here at Heceta Beach! Beautiful sunsets from the balcony and the location made it easy to have comfortable beach days. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Beach Cottage!

We loved our stay at Traxler's Beach Cottage! This is one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed at. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I loved the beach decor, furniture and enjoyed reading about the history of the property. The beach views were amazing! A short walk to the county park next to the property makes accessing the beach easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, well maintained property with an endearing family history

Traxlers Surfside Cottage is beautifully constructed, tastefully decorated and perfectly maintained. It truly is surfside, providing stunning views of the beach and ocean from the downstairs living room and upstairs Master bdrm/sitting room. This is definitely the most tasteful, clean and well maintained property we've rented through VRBO. The kitchen is stocked with more cookware and dishes than you'll need to prepare any meal. Perhaps the most endearing element of this cottage is it's 4 generation family history at the property which is charmingly described in a book produced by a family member and left for visitors to enjoy. The book even describes the history of some of the intriguing artifacts on display. Please note however, the cottage is located directly adjacent to a public parking and beach access trail (it can get busy) and to a large hotel which keeps the property brightly lit all night long (for light sensitive sleepers, this will be an issue.)
