About this property

This ninth floor, corner unit has the beautiful views and showcases what the gulf coast is all about. You and your family will love to spend time on the spacious wraparound balcony that is accessible from the living area, dining area and master bedroom. Watching the sunrise while drinking a cup of coffee or sipping on your favorite drink as you enjoy the sunset, you will have memories for a lifetime experiencing the beauty of the Orange Beach area. Grocery stores and several restaurants are nearby for convenience.

The new owners have made several updates. There are all new beds, new ceiling fans, new black out curtains, and all three bathrooms have new vanities, quartz countertops, and new lighting. All of the TVs (living room and each bedroom) are new smart TVs. Each bedroom is nicely decorated and includes its own private bathroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed plus balcony access. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, and the 3rd bedroom features a king size bed with its very own private balcony having views of the gulf in one direction and the city of Orange Beach in the other. The living room has plenty of seating to enjoy the view of the gulf. The sofa also converts to a bed so the condo can accommodate up to 8 people. The dining area features a wooden table that will seat 6 while the kitchen's breakfast bar has additional seating. The kitchen is equipped for all your cooking needs. The unit also includes a washer and dryer.

In addition to the gorgeous beach area only for condominium guests, Shoalwater amenities include a large outdoor pool with a beachside gazebo surrounded by several lounge chairs, a kiddie pool with seating and shading available so your little one doesn't get burned while having fun. Outdoor bathrooms are located near the pools plus an outdoor shower available at the boardwalk that leads to the beach. The indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna/steam room and a fitness area are located in a separate heated building that sits right in front of the complex. A charcoal grill BBQ area and tennis court / basketball court are available on the grounds of the complex for all guests to enjoy.

Family Beach Stay at Shoalwater

Very nice accommodations for our large group! The kitchen was well stocked with items we needed for preparing meals. A few minor maintenance items ie...refrigerator light didn't work so a bit challenging to see items. Overall, very pleased!

Great Beach Trip

Very happy with the Shoalwater condo. Condo is corner unit on 9th floor, it has large balcony and great views. And it provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely would stay again!

This is THE condo to stay in!

Everything was so clean and well organized. Check in and check out were seamless. More than enough dishes and utensils to avoid doing dishes every meal. The views from the balcony are incredible! We will definitely be back!

Million Dollar view

The condo view is wonderful. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Could use a new mattress for master and outside patio table is very wobbly. A little cluttered for my taste with beach decorations everywhere.

Orange Beach

I traveled with two of my grandchildren for some sun and fun. The weather was chilly, but indoor pool was a blessing. The condo was convenient to good sea food restaurants, Bubba's across the street, along with two arcades. Next door, nice big souvenir shop. Walmart and Publics for groceries within a mile from Shoalwater Condos. I placed a grocery list for pick up. They loaded my car for me and back to the condo. I was concerned about loading groceries up to the 9th floor, but having more than 8 loading carts was I wonderful treat. I felt safe with my children having security on site. Renting beach umbrella and chairs was convenient and fare price per day. So no loading up beach chairs. Beautiful view. Guest and residents were so friendly. Made a friend in one of the condos on the first floor by the gate entrance to the pool. I have sent info to my friends, best place to stay, Shoal Water. I will return. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable and user friendly app. Pat j

Family vacation

The property management was great. The building is under renovation and did interfere with the property usage. The construction timing is not known, but will be happening for awhile. We enjoyed the unit and the beach. The pool was also very nice. The management did work with us for the inconvenience caused by the construction. It is located in a great spot on the beach and a short distance from restaurants, shops, and grocery. All in all a good time for the family.

Perfect for our family of 5

We had a corner unit on the 9th floor & the views were gorgeous! Check in was easy. The complex had several carts available for us to get all our luggage to our unit. The 3 bedrooms accommodated our family of 5 comfortably. One thing we appreciated was that the hot water heater was able to keep up with all of us needing showers at the same time. The kitchen had every amenity we needed. We did buy extra dishwasher pods since we ate breakfast/lunch in the condo everyday. It was very convenient and helpful to have the washer/dryer to use. The location of the condo was close to many restaurants and activities. I do wish there had been more/clearer information on the beach chair/umbrella rentals that were available to us so we knew what to expect when we got there. However, we had a good experience and enjoyed the chairs/umbrellas. We also used the outdoor pool everyday. It was nice and there were several chairs available. There isn’t much shade, but we welcomed the sun! We did use the indoor pool a couple of times as relief from the sun. It is a lot smaller than the outdoor pool, so not many families can use it at the same time. But it was still nice. The grounds keepers always took great care of the property and kept it neat. There was construction going on during our stay, but we still enjoyed our stay. We appreciated their efforts to improve the safety and aesthetics of the property. We will definitely consider staying at this property for future vacations to Orange Beach, AL

Very Nice place to Stay

Well laid out, the baby was on the bedroom down the small hall which was great for not waking her up. Master bed was not the most comfortable but it wasn’t terrible either. Spacious lots of kids friendly games

Great stay

Check in process very nice with keypad entry so no keys. The place was very spacious and having 3 bathrooms was a plus. The balcony wrapped around and gave us beautiful views of the ocean and down the beach. The balcony furniture, specifically the table needs to be updated as it is really unstable. The garbage disposal stopped working the second day and had to leave message but did not get a call back. We just didn’t use that side of sink. There are two boards that are really slippery by the gate where you rinse off after the beach and caused 3 of us to lose footing and actually fell. I am assuming the wood was not treated and that may have been why. Maybe a grip mat there would be a good idea. Besides those those things we had a wonderful time and would consider staying there again.
