Wonderful Stay
My family had a wonderful stay at this home. It is located on a very quiet part of the lake. The only drawback was the front door was a pain to close. Besides that, we had a wonderful experience.

Close to lakefront
Great view. Not fully upgraded but comfortable. Disappointed in just one shower; 2nd bathroom was tub only. 100 yards from lakefront. Great deck for sitting and gathering.

Cozy cabin
Nice location, expected it to be much cleaner due to Covid-19 but it was not. Silverware drawer full of crumbs, coffee tables dusty, used sponge in kitchen. No laundry detergent, limited dishwashing soap and dishwasher pods, so bring your own if you are staying for an extended time. With that said, we loved the location, short walk to the beach, but no dock access. Public dock close by though. Bathroom upstairs is cute but no shower, it’s just a tub. Downstairs bathroom has a heated floor, was amazing. Deck space was large and lots of seating. We did have to fill the propane tank for the bbq. Plenty of room for parking.

Loved the deck!
Plenty of room to spread out. The deck was great with the dining set and conversation set - and the heat lamp! The spa has a quiet view of the trees - very relaxing!

Quiet and comfy with a view
We were looking for a quiet weekend away and this did not disappoint. The home is roomy and comfortable surrounded by trees with a view of the lake. Though the home is a bit older and we had a couple of issues, the rental agency was very responsive and helpful. We found the heated floors in the downstairs bathroom to be a definite bonus and the teens enjoyed having their own space upstairs. We enjoyed the private hot tub looking out into the trees. The bike/walking path along the lake which is very close to the house was also very nice.

Spacious, beautiful and very clean
we had an incredible time. It was easy to get outside and find some beautiful areas to walk around such as Eagle Rock but the house was so cozy that staying in was such a pleasure too. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace and everything was spotless. Can’t imagine a better place to unwind after a hectic thanksgiving!

Great Location but Improvemtns Needed
The place is wonderful. View of the lake right from the deck. Property needs some TLC even though they started some work but didn’t finish it. It could be 5/5 property if was thoroughly cleaned, hot tub functioning properly, and house remodeling done completely.

Meh
The hot tub didn't work and the pier code didn't work. The property looked like it was about half way through a bunch of do it yourself projects. The wifi password was incorrect The front deck was rotting, furniture was placed to cover the bad spots, and it wasn't even swept before we got there.

Poorly Managed, but quaint place to stay
When we arrived, the lockbox code for getting the key for the house was incorrect. I called Vacasa. They gave me the code to a backup lockbox - however - there was no key in it. We figured out that the typo for the lockbox was a 0 at the beginning that didn't belong and did get into the house. It seems odd - unless the code was recently changed, other people before me must have had this same problem, right? Similarly, the wifi network and password was not the one listed in the email. We were able to find the wifi hub and figured out how to connect from that. The most disappointing part of the house was the fact that the hot tub was not operating. We had chosen this house over another option because of the hot tub. We found the tub with a few inches of water, and even when we filled it up, it had no power. They sent a repair person the next day while we were out skiing, but they failed to fix it and we were never informed that anyone had come. It was difficult to get a hold of Vacasa again, and when we did, they told us they had sent somebody who was going to come back. The repair person never came back. After many calls the next day, we were promised a discount due to the disrepair of the hot tub, but there has been no follow up on that either. Looking through the reviews from before my stay, somebody else had complained about the broken hot tub weeks before my visit, so it still hadn't been repaired in that time. Also strangely, the notes we got with the house make no mention of the hot tub at all. So between the lockbox code being wrong, the wifi being wrong, and the hot tub unmentioned, it felt like we had been emailed instructions for the wrong house. Also, Joni sent an email saying that she would help us during our visit, but never responded to any emails or calls. Lastly, the dishwasher didn't work! Other notes - it lists two full bathrooms, but only one has a shower. The other has a bath tub, no shower. Cleanliness was not the best - we found a knife stuck to the bottom of one of the pots. Don't forget to turn up the water heater! It also has electric cables outside the doors to keep bears away. It is dog friendly, has lots of beds, is close to the lake, neighbors an forested park, has good heating, and provides small shampoo/soap - So it does serve its purpose and can house many people/animals for a getaway, but don't expect top-tier maintenance and do expect some problem solving. Call beforehand to check if hot tub is working!

Perfect location, cosy and pretty clean
House is perfectly located on the west shore of Tahoe and is in pretty good shape. We were with 4 people, but should be very comfortable with twice as much people as well. This weekend the dishwasher was out of service and although some reviews mention this, we were unable to access the wood storage in the back of the house with the keys available. Other than that, perfect get-away and I highly recommend it.

Good location, badly managed
The following are excepts from our email sent to the management. We were disappointed that we didn't receive any response. We were hoping the management would have made some effort to apologize or make up for these concerns but we advise any potential renters that you get what you pay for, and even less. Our inconveniences are enumerated below: 1. Upon arrival, the code was not correct. There was a prompt response by phone, which was appreciated. For the remaining issues, we received no response. 2. Several of the beds were not made. Sheets were found balled up in the dresser drawers and did not appear to be clean due to stains and odor. 3. The dishwasher was broken, would not close properly and several buttons when pushed would not light up. It never started at all after several attempts. 4. There was only 4 inches of water in the hot tub rendering it unusable during the weekend, and our email to notify the agency did not receive a response. 5. There were no dish towels available, so we used some cloth place mats that we found instead. 6. There were not enough towels for our group, until we found some additional ones in the dryer. We understand that the house was older, and found that the house was true in many ways to the review and met our expectations in terms of number of beds and ability to accommodate our group. The view was very nice, and we can also say the bathrooms were clean and ready for use. Perhaps our experience was unique, and the agency will tend to these issues before renting it again. Two stars...We docked one star for hot tub not working, another for the minor inconveniences, and a third for not providing follow up.

Cozy House
Love the location of this property and the fact that you can bring your four legged friends is a major plus. The wooded area out back is just perfect for both summer or winter play. The house is a bit dated, which is fine by me, but several things weren't working (hot tub, dishwasher, wifi, no access to the wood). It takes awhile to heat up when you get there and definitely turn the water heater up to level B if you want to shower. The games and puzzles had unfortunately been mixed up all together. I think after sorting through it the only playable game is Trivial Pursuit. There is a chessboard and cribbage board. The puzzles are too mixed up to attempt. Most of the DVDs are missing or in the wrong cases. We were only able to find one children's movie, though there are several empty cases. I would actually stay here again because the location was ideal and the house very serviceable, but I would plan to bring my own games and movies. Vacasa was very nice about the amenities that were not available and will be issuing some appropriate credits to me, but just know if you book it you may not have everything listed available to you. You will have a great location, a nice partial view of the lake, and endless things to do in the surrounding areas.

I am going to comeback to this same property!!
This place was the best house rental i've ever rented. The people that lived around our party were very nice and easy to talk to, the lake view was gorgeous, and most important of all the house was cozy. We went with a party of 7 and it worked out perfect. Although the top room in the house with bunk beds was sketchy because we heard a lot of things at night move but nothing crazy

Great location with view of Lake Tahoe.
House is in a great location with views of Lake Tahoe from front deck. Road is a bit steep so you need chains or 4x4 to get up when snowy. Furnishings are a bit dated but all functional. The heating system does not heat the house evenly, hot living room, cold bedrooms in general. Very well stocked however.
