First Holgate Vacation

This was our families first time staying in Holgate. The house is the perfect location!! Although it needed a little cleaning and organizing when we got in the house came very well supplied with all of the essentials! - no need to pack my spices in the future. My brother and his family and my neighbors all had houses either on the street or the next one over. The “kids” loved the pool table and ping pong table. Great location to Bay Village and the wonderful little deli Bowkers ! We would definitely recommend this house.

Quiet street / easy beach access

Loved our stay. The house is well supplied and situated on a nice quiet street. The deck was great! One surprise was that there were no trundle beds as was stated in the bunk room. Would have preferred that no one had to sleep in the living room but not a big deal in the end. We would love to return for another stay in the future.

This property had enough space for my whole Family (including 3 grandchildren) especially the added bonus of the ping pong and pool tables. Hated those green flies though. Great week!

Wonderful Place! Steps from the Beach!

We had a great stay at this home. It is walking distance to the ocean where there is a huge sand bar - the kids loved it. It is also walking distance to the bay and a playground for kids. The owners were very responsive throughout the trip. It has a great deck for grilling and hanging out and a fun game room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook as well. We would definitely recommend and come back!

Perfect beach house

There are so many wonderful things about this house - 2bathrooms, the gameroom, the spacious open kitchen / living room , the wrap around deck with the multiple comfy gathering areas, proximity to the beach , thoughtful owners - too many amenities to mention ! The Only negative was the greenhead flies at the beach the spray sold at the local shop seemed to help!

We were completely content here. The kitchen has all beautiful appliances and well-stocked drawers and cabinets. Located perfectly near Holgate beaches and bay. Thank you for everything .

Wonderful property!

We very much enjoyed our stay for a week! The property was clean, steps from the beach. The area is residential, but located close to many shops and restaurants. Bowker’s Deli was around the corner. Property owners were responsive with all of our questions and the lovely deck was enjoyed for grilling. Would stay again!

We had a great week at this awesome house. It was super close and convenient to the beach and had everything we needed! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck - it’s a nice, quiet street. Would absolutely stay again!

Great getaway!

Quietly tucked away at the end of the island. Easy walk to bay for swimming and sunsets. Steps to the beach and gorgeous sunrises. Constant sound of waves crashing in the distance from the deck was wonderful. So peaceful.

LBI 2020

The house is Beautiful & location is Awesome!!!!. Our family has many interest at the beach ( fishing , beach going and kayaking on the bay). This location was a home run for the entire family. The house has plenty of room inside & out, very quite & ocean views. The owner is very generous supplies. Looking forward to Season 2021. The game room was a BIG hit.

Steps to the sand

This beautiful beach house has all the amenities one could want. The downstairs game room was such a hit we spent many fun hours enjoying it. A 3 minute walk to the beach and huge deck makes this a special destination. Excellent responsiveness from the owners made it all easy even in the time of a pandemic. Thank you Carol and Ted !!

Amazing LBI trip!

We had an amazing week in Holgate. Our trip was a walk down memory lane as I had spent many summers growing up on LBI in Holgate. Traveling/renting during a Pandemic is certainly one for the history books. The owners Carol and Bill were in communication updating the status of the trip following the state guidelines. They hired an additional cleaning service that came in and sterilized the property between rentals adding an additional layer of protection. We enjoyed the sunrise, surf fishing, beach time and sunsets each day. Loved the location and wish we could have stayed longer! Looking forward to coming back next summer!!!!
