Private access from the entrance gate.
All rooms (3) are totally independent, each having its own bathroom and toilets. Pool (4X5 m) is totally private and child protected.
10 minutes walking distance from the city centre, the shops and the animation.
Salon is also perfectly well located in the heart of Provence at very fair distance from all the major touristic sites such as Aix, Marseille, Avignon and Arles + les Baux de Provence, the Alpilles, Luberon and Camargue.
The owner use to own a private 4 * hotel in the very nearby.
In high season, the rental can only be settled from Saturdays to Saturdays except specific request.
It is a perfect location well fitted for family and friends gathering.

Great location

This charming house is located just steps away from the historical center of Salon de Provence. The manager and owner are very responsive and quickly dealt with a minor problem.

Comfort, privacy, peace

This is a comfortable house, with multiple bedrooms, ideal for a large group. We were just the 2 of us.The house and kitchen are fully equipped, the garden area and small pool are very pleasant and the towncenter is just a short walk. It is very private.The interior is a bit dated, and on the dark side - but that may be our personal view..It is clear it was once a house where the owner/family lived. I have never seen so many comic strips/bandes dessinees, they must be fans! This house seems to be one of a number of original villas, that are now bordered by a newer area with modern, but attractive flats. It sits a bit isolated and you have to pass the property of the neighbours house after opening an automatic driveway gate with a code - which is not a problem. Parking and leaving the lot is a bit tricky, we often parked on the nearby street/square. Overall a very good vacation rental, with responsive and pleasant hosts. Paul

Petit paradis

La maison est idéalement située, au cœur d'un îlot de verdure et toute proche (à pied ) du centre ville. Beaucoup de charme dans ce mas spacieux et très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié la piscine : se baigner chaque matin pour bien débuter la journée est un luxe pour des citadines ! Situation parfaite pour parcourir les alentours, les Alpilles, et même Marseille où il ne faut surtout pas rater les expos du Mucem. En conclusion, de très belles vacances !

Great location

Beautiful large house with wonderful terrace. The house is very clean has a very well equipped kitchen and a wonderful terrace with a large desk to enjoy your meals and nice opportunities to relax. Patricia was very suportive. A small probelm we had was solved within one hour. THank you for that.

Schönes Objekt in zentraler Lage

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch liegt es sehr zentral, sodass man in kurzer Zeit die vielen Highlights der Provence besichtigen kann. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Avis global excellent. La maison correspond exactement à la description. La propriété est top. Point de vue extérieur : - Piscine de bonne taille. Attention pour les petits, elle fait 1,60 m de profondeur partout. Par contre, elle est sécurisée donc pas d'inquiétude. - Partie salon de jardin spacieuse et ombragée. - Partie table de repas sous une pergola de verdure très agréable. - Plancha à disposition. Point de vue intérieur : - Maison spacieuse et bien agencée. - En famille ou entre amis, toute le monde peut avoir son intimité car chaque chambre est équipée de sa salle d'eau et de son wc. - Climatisation dans chaque chambre. - Equipement de cuisine ultra complet. Je n'avais, jusqu'à maintenant, jamais trouvé une cuisine aussi bien fournie. Emplacement : - Maison isolée des buildings aux alentours. La présence des buildings et des routes proches peut faire peur, mais la maison est suffisamment isolée pour ne pas être gêné par le bruit. - Le quartier proche est calme - L'accès est sécurisé par deux portails. - Le centre historique de Salon est accessible à pied. - Plusieurs centres commerciaux sont proches. - De belles villes sont accessibles en une heure de route maximum ( Arles, Nîmes, Les baux de Provence, ...) et la plage est à une demi-heure environ. Accueil / Contact : - Nous avons été accueillis par Patricia, qui est d'une extrême gentillesse. Les explications sur l'utilisation de la maison sont claires et complètes. Elle reste également disponible pendant la durée du séjour. - Contacts par courriels très cordiaux avec la propriétaire qui répond très rapidement. En résumé, le seul critère pour lequel je ne mets pas cinq étoiles est l'emplacement, car ça fait moins "vacances" lorsqu'on est dans le quartier de la maison. Par contre, une fois passé le portail, on se retrouve dans un petit coin de paradis duquel on n'a même pas envie de bouger :). Pour tout le reste, je ne vois pas comment ne pas être conquis. Je recommande pour : - Les familles ou amis qui cherchent un point central pour des visites dans cette partie de la France. - Les personnes qui ne veulent pas bouger et recherchent du calme.

heerlijk verblijf

Het huis was tiptop in orde en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patricia stond steeds klaar als we vragen hadden. Wij hebben een zeer aangename vakantie gehad. De locatie was erg rustig op wandelafstand (1 km) van het gezellige stadscentrum.

Kurzurlaub im April

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen: Das Haus liegt zentral und doch sehr ruhig, in die Innenstadt sind es max. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Also: Rundum zu empfehlen! LG Heidi und Axel

Une jolie maison de ville à l’abri des regards

Maison conforme à la description. Bien agencée, d’une propreté irréprochable, avec son jardin très plaisant inspirant à la détente, cette location a tout pour plaire. Urlaub mit der Familie

Ein wirklich schönes und sehr privates provencealisches Haus für eine größere Familie. Drei (fast vier) schöne Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem eigenen Bad lassen viele Möglichkeiten offen. Die einzige Einschränkung war Patrischa, die wirklich anstrengende und neugierige Haushälterin, die die eigentliche Vermieterin aber wohl nur zeitweise vertritt. Salon ist ein nettes kleines Städtchen, nicht so touristisch wie die Städte der Umgebung, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Das Haus ist genau so wie es beschrieben ist. Es ist geschmackvoll innen und außen und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Es ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool wird immer wieder kontrolliert. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war direkt und unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Superbe maison dans une ville très agréable

Le nombre de pièces à disposition (y compris sdb et clim individuelle) offrent des possibilités énormes pour se retirer, chacun a sa propre "bulle". La piscine privative est assez grande et l'aménagement extérieur est très bien réflechit aussi. Seul bémol, eclairage intérieur et extérieur un peu juste mais bon, on avait le soleil :-) Sinon, l'annonce corresppond bien à la réalité et Patricia, la dame qui s'occupe de la maison, connaît plein de bonnes adresses... Quelques mots sur les environs : voisins très agréables, ville étonnament et bien active, citoyens tous très aimables et courtois (pas du tout le cas partout ailleurs en Provence...), idéalement placé au milieu de pleins de points d'attractions. Bref, nous reviendrons :-) !

Très belle location, bien équipée et décorée avec goût

Nous avons passé de super vacances dans la maison de Catherine où rien ne manque. L'extérieur est également très agréable, que ce soit la piscine ou les espaces ombragés et ensoleillés. Il s'agit d'une maison en ville et au calme. Nous recommandons 👍

au calme et très bien équipée

maison très bien entretenue, très agréable et bien située. Il convient de préciser que l'accès dans la piscine est assez délicat, la hauteur entre le sol et la première marche est très important ainsi qu'entre la dernière marche et le fond de la piscine. la profondeur est constante : 1.6 M.

Schönes Haus zentral und sicher

Wir waren im Winter dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Stadt. Hinter dem Haus ist der Kanal, der über einen kleinen Fussweg erreichbar ist. Wir waren mit dem Rad dort und haben die Nähe zum Naturpark Les Alpilles, Val de Cuech und dem Meer sehr geschätzt. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, der Parkplatz am Haus und der schöne Innenhof mit Pool sind vor Lärm und Blicken perfekt geschützt. Catherine hat sich um alles professionell und nett gekümmert. Es war uns eine Freude! Herzlichen Dank.

Ruhige Lage in Laufweite zum Ort

Super Einführung durch die Vermieterin, die hervorragend Englisch spricht. Tolles Haus, gute Ausstattung. Sogar grundlegende Lebensmittel sind da. Toll!

Que de belles surprises

La région est réellement superbe et chaque sentier, chaque localité fut un appel à la découverte de ce magnifique endroit. La Provence est splendide à observer et regorge de ressources qui raviront les amateurs de ballades à pied, à vélo, en voiture,..... des monuments exceptionnels, des endroits bucoliques qu'ils soient naturels ou façonnés par la main de l'homme et je soulignerai, des restaurants sympas. Chaque lieu est différent et nous en sommes partis avec pleins de belles images dans les yeux et dans nos portables. Notre location fut, également, une agréable surprise, telle que sur les photos et vous n'aurez aucune mauvaise surprise en vous y rendant, il vous suffira, juste, profiter pleinement de tout ce qu'elle vous offre, sa propreté, son agencement, son calme et sa chaleur de vivre. Un merci tout particulier à Catherine Bossard pour son accueil chaleureux et ses bonnes... adresses.

Très belle villa

Nous avons apprécié la piscine, le salon de jardin, les extérieurs, la déco, le fait d'avoir une salle d'eau avec toilettes pour chacune des 3 chambres et que la villa soit a 10mn à pieds du centre de Salon de Provence. Trés bon accueil de Patricia et Catherine

I early started working in the tourism business and followed up in a luxurious hotel member of the chain of the Relais & Châteaux.
I work today on Yield management.
Being into the tourism activity, I have a fair idea of what people may expect in terms of holydays and always make sure my guests are entirely happy with their stay.
The house is therefore a lifeful place and not just a holiday residency.

Why they chose this property

Salon has always been an anchor for me for many years. My father had bought a former Romanesque monastery he had transformed into a luxury hotel which was, for a few years before that, a holiday place for the whole family. I settled in Salon in 1983 and took care of the management and development of the hotel. A big adventure for over 25 years! In 1996, however, I decided to settle out of the hotel to experience greater family intimacy with my husband and my daughter. I then bought a small house on the outskirts of Salon. The proximity of the city centre was intended to allow me to go shopping walking and easily drop my daughter to school. The hotel is now sold but I still live in Salon which remains also the residence of all my friends, and a strategic location in terms of proximity to TGV train stations, airports and highways. This is important as I travel a lot now.

What makes this property unique

The house is cute and architecture typical of the area. It is a recent place with all the modern equipment and comfort.
Intimacy is the key word, would it be in the house, or aside the pool.
The access from the street is all ground flat as well as the ground floor of the house and the handicapped bedroom.
This same bedroom has been rebuilt to allow the access for handicapped people. It has been too nicely decorated and has become the most preferred bedroom of the 3.
The city centre is very nearby; however, you will not be bothered by any of its inconvenience such as noisy events.
It is a perfect location for visiting Provence and enjoy local traditions.
All major touristic site, historical and leisure, are very nearby. Salon de Provence is a real perfect base for all sort of holydays.
