About this property

Oceanfront Executive, 2 Bedroom family friendly and close to downtown.

The oceanfront property is centrally located near downtown and all amenities as well as providing easy access to the multitude of recreational activities within the area. The living space offers unobstructed views from all rooms except the bathroom and 2nd bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with granite counter tops, instant hot water and stainless steel appliances including ice and water dispencer. The family room is open to the kitchen and has a 52' HD TV and a quality sound system with patio doors leading out to a large patio, level grass yard and access to the beach. The dining room is between the kitchen and the living room which has a gas fireplace and a quality sound system. The larger bedroom is behind the Living room with dual French doors looking back to the ocean. The bathroom is accessed from the bedroom or from the hallway. The second bedroom is behind the kitchen.

Perfect location

We had a great family stay at Jeff’s place. The kitchen was fully stocked, the rooms were comfortable and having a beautiful oceanfront yard was absolutely the best part of the stay. The property is just minutes from downtown, shady beaches and steps away from the best coffee stand (fogg duckers) in Campbell river.

A wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had all the things needed for meal prep. The beds were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the ships pass by late in the evenings. Conveniently located for many hiking adventures within an hour drive. . We could walk to a nice restaurant from the house when we didn’t want to eat in. It’s a great spot to watch Eagles on the beach right in the backyard.

A wonderful place

Thanks so much for a wonderful place to stay. We watched the sunrise in the morning. We saw whales swimming in the distance. Our children explored the tide pools when the tide was out. The space itself is large, clean and comfortable. Jeff was a gracious host.

Puurrrfect!

A perfect place to stay in Campbell River. Even better than the photos shown. It is very spacious and so well equipped inside the home and loads of things for outdoor activities, there was nothing that we needed that wasn't there. The beach is right there and we were able to have a fire on the beach which was lovely, we would have had more but the weather wasn't too co-operative. Jeff was there to meet us, he always answered any questions or emails very promptly. While we were there our daughter and family were on Cortes where our grandson broke his arm so ended up in Campbell River Hospital. Jeff was very helpful and accommodating.. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay and with the the views (always something to see, lots of action on the water and lots of eagles)I think it would be lovely any time of the year.

A wonderful place to stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We staid in the lower level which is spacious with a great view. What a delight to stay right on the ocean. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

A Christmas holiday stay

We were very happy with all in this property, comfy, clean, view to die for on the water ! Clear instructions for everything. The location is also a big plus. Any question that we did have were answered promptly by the owner. Our recent stay was in a winter weather period, snow. Would love to stay in the summer.

Jeff’s great place

We really enjoyed our time staying here in Cambell River. The property was everything we’d hoped for and more. Very convenient for getting into town but yet very private and quiet. We could have sat on the patio looking at the ocean all day. Great cycle/walking path into town for the ferry to Malcom Island. Easy walk to some great eating places. Will definetly be returning to stay with this great host. Richard & Edit

Jeff’s Place on the ocean in Campbell River

Jeff was very helpful and accommodating. The home was great being right on the ocean. We got to watch a couple storms and kayak on the nicer days. We would stay there again.

Amazing waterfront property!!

Jeff has thought of absolutely everything and the property is fully stocked with everything you could need for cooking, recreation and relaxing. I have two kids ages 3 and 1, so often vacationing isn't 'relaxing,' but with all of the amenities at this house, it felt like home. We all had a great time. The wildlife was the icing on the cake. We saw Orcas, humpback whales and deer! Will be returning, without a doubt.

Wonderful house and location!

We really enjoyed our week’s stay and Jeff is an excellent host. His house has an incredible view with easy beach access so we enjoyed evening campfires. The many activities Jeff includes ... kayaks, bikes, games, big screen TV and DVD’s and his huge CD collection etc. add to the fun. The house is really well equipped for cooking with everything you’d ever need, and is perfect for relaxing, and soaking in the ever changing sights of sealife. boats, and waves thru the huge windows. Jeff lives on site upstairs but is so quiet you are really on your own. We look forward to many return visits at this beautiful location!

Wonderful oceanfront stay

Our party of 4 loved this rental. The view from all areas of the unit are fantastic! Unit is more spacious than expected and the bedrooms are nicely spread out. Beach was great for nighttime fires and the backyard has lots of space for playing games or just hanging out. Beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need. We found Jeff to be an extremely responsive and accommodating host. The sea walk passes right outside your front door (not a bother as all of your windows face the ocean in the back) but very handy if you want to bike or walk. Lots of indoor and outdoor games, movies, even bikes and kayaks were provided. The outdoor seating/dining areas are fairly rustic but for us the location more than makes up for this!

Paradise

One of the most if not the most amazing place we’ve stayed at. The house is perfectly located on the seashore and everything is at the best! Super clean and well furnished. Jeff thought about every single detail to make the stay as perfect as possible. Seals and sea-lions were a few hundred meters from the shore and deers in the garden! Breathtaking!

The perfect place!

This place is exceptional from the communications with Jeff before we arrived down to the small details Jeff has put in place to make this such a memorable stay. We Can't Wait to Come Back!

We had a most wonderful stay. The house has everything one could ever want or need. The view is spectacular. It is such a treat to dine while drinking in the beauty of Discovery Passage with all its wildlife, interesting marine traffic and the peace of watching the tides roll in and out. Beautiful, relaxing home right in the water!

Jeff’s house was a gem, wonderful inside and out! Kitchen had everything we needed, bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, bathroom was large and worked easily for four of us to share. We spent mornings and evenings out enjoying the water - so relaxing to sit up by the house and wander down to the waters edge to see all the sea life. We particularly loved the telescope Jeff thoughtfully provided - we watched orcas swim by one day! Jeff was a wonderful host. Completely unobtrusive and yet happy to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental property to anyone looking to visit beautiful Vancouver Island!

2 Years ago we have spent wonderful holidays at this place! So it was clear we are coming back..... We returned this month and we are again overwhelmed by this dream house with the fantastic view directly at the beach! Clean, lux. kitchen, everthing what you need was there ;) ingenious!

Excellent choice !!

I'm almost hesitant to give this place such a great review, we want to keep it all to ourselves ! We needed a somewhat last minute, local'ish getaway for 5 nights and we found this piece of paradise. From the minute we walked in to Jeff's house, we knew we wouldn't want to leave. The piece of property is absolutely stunning and there is nothing that you could want for while you're there. Jeff and his son are wonderful hosts. I like to think I'm a pretty good host when people come to visit, but Jeff would give me a run for my money - spotless, well equipped, every detail was thought out and executed. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in the Campbell River area. As a matter of fact, I would tell you you're crazy to stay anywhere else !!
