This is the Best Little Beach House on Anna Maria Island...with a pool.
Our home is a completely renovated 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom home that will take your breath away! Located in Holmes Beach, it is 5 houses and a short 1 minute stroll to the beautiful white sandy Gulf of Mexico beaches.
The beach itself is quiet section due to the fact that there are no large resort / hotel / motel accommodations close by.

We are the ONLY one bedroom private home with a pool on Anna Maria Island.
Many homes on the Island are actually duplexes where you each have your own pool but have shared interior walls.
This is a truly 'Private' home without shared walls or a backyard separated by fencing.

The private heated pool has a waterfall, in-pool cocktail table, and bench seating. Outdoor amenities include lounge chairs, dining table, outdoor shower, front porch seating and gas barbecue.

With tropical style coastal furnishings, this home has it all, located within a short walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It is also very close to one of the free trolley stops. The bedroom includes a king bed, large flat screen TV and DVD player. The living room has a couch, love seat and a large flat screen TV with DVD player. Bathroom includes granite counter tops and a walk in tiled shower. Bring your mobile devices as this home is equipped with Wi-Fi throughout.

We provide you with all the items you will need such as luxury bedding, bath towels, washcloths, beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen.

There are chairs, umbrellas and floats that you are welcome to bring to the beach. We also have a cart to make it easier for you to get them there :-)

There are two security cameras at the property, one at the front door and the other at the side gate facing the driveway.

A Dreamy Stay
We had waited 3 years to rent this popular property. It was worth the wait. The house is simply perfect- outdoor spaces front and back ( porch & pool) extend the delightful indoors. The beach is a minute walk down the street.The hosts are exceptionally caring and accommodating.

It's perfect!
It's truly perfect - in every way! This cute little beach house was ideal for two people. We loved it from front (porch with Adirondack chairs) to back (adorable backyard pool)! You could see the ocean from the driveway. : ) The owners have done a terrific job of thinking of everything you could possibly need. In my husband's words...I wouldn't change a thing! (and he is very picky about places) We would love to stay here again when we visit Anna Maria Island.

Always a great time…
at the Little Blue House. We’ve been coming down for 10 years and love our stay every time. Carolyn is a wonderful host. The island is recovering surprisingly quickly from the hurricanes and continues to get closer to normal every day. Most restaurants are open again. The beach is in fine shape. LBH is still the same. It came through the storms with flying colors. We will be back!

Awesome location and sunsets
House is very well stocked and maintained. Due to the potential of hurricane Helene, property owner was in constant communication with us and kept us updated with the progress. This was our second stay at this property and location is awesome. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Our slice of honeymoon heaven
This property was a true gem and a real joy to stay in. The place was spotless when we arrived and you can tell the owners put a lot of love and effort into upgrades which gave it both a classic-Florida and modern-Florida look simultaneously. For 2 people, it has everything you need and more space than you could ever hope for, along with a perfectly-sized pool. The location is mere minutes walking distance from both the beach, food, and shopping. Perfect is the only word for this property and we would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Carolyn is very attentive to detail. We enjoyed their cottage as location to beach and grocery are excellent. The pool was our favorite detail of the home. Nicely laid out for a small yard and very well kept. A pleasant week.

We absolutely loved this little bungalow. Everything was perfect from the house to the pool to the communication with Carolyn. Such a close walk to the beach. Lots of little extra details that Carolyn gave us like snacks and a cute tote bag. Great location, super close to Publix and other stores. Definitely somewhere I’d stay again.

This Little Beach house was beyond amazing. There are not enough words that can explain the relaxing feeling you experience staying here. Can everything be that perfect, the answer we have is YES!! we booked our stay for 2025 even before we checked out! The only other place that could be better must be "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

2nd chance - Anna Maria Island
We stayed in AMI about 8 years ago & were not impressed. We decided to give AMI a 2nd chance. The Best Little Beach House was wonderful. It was spotless & very cozy. The location was perfect & we enjoyed the ocean & our private pool every day! Our vacation was very relaxing….all because of this little house. We will return!

Lovely Bungalow/Beautiful Beach
We loved our stay! If we can travel again (from Oregon), we will stay here. The home was well set up and very comfortable. The quick walk to the beach was repeated multiple times daily for us. We loved waking to birdsong and taking coffee/tea on the front porch. The salt water pool was a great amenity and I utilized it 2 or 3 times a day. It would be nice to be able to control the water fall, as sometimes it's nice to just have quiet. I gave a 4 on cleanliness as I think it's time to replace decorative pillows in the bedroom and living room - they always get hard use in any home. Thank you for allowing us to stay. It was a lifetime highlight for us!

Truly is the Best!!
My husband and I were extremely impressed with this vacation home! We felt very comfortable, it was so cozy and clean! The pool was amazing, it was like a tropical oasis. We thought the location was perfect, stores and restaurants (and most importantly - the beach!) were within short walking distance. Don’t hesitate to book this place! We can’t wait for the opportunity to go back, it is a wonderful and secluded slice of paradise!

Truly The Best!!
We felt welcome the very minute we stepped into this beautiful little beach house!! The touches to welcome us were so nice. The hosts provided their contact information and when I texted them to let them know we were there they answered promptly with a very friendly reply. The location is perfect since it is a one block walk to the beach and a little over a block walk to the free trolley pickup. It is also very close to a grocery store and within walking distance of several excellent small restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and was stocked with everything we could possibly have wanted. The private pool is gorgeous!! The Best Little Beach House is truly a slice of paradise!!

Thrilled to be able to stay another week. See below for previous review. Let me just recommend some great eating spots. Two are walkable: Skinny’s and La Creperie. In Cortez: Starfish. At the north end of LBK: Shore Diner. All different, all really good.

We have the same story as most of the locals on Anna Maria Island, 'we came to Anna Maria Island for a vacation and never left'. Well that was a number of years ago and we still are here. Come and enjoy our home, you will never want to leave either.

What makes this property unique

The private pool and short stroll to the beach for the beautiful Gulf view sunset make this house an ideal place for a romantic vacation or getaway. Every aspect of this house was considered when it was recently remodeled. We are the only one bedroom private home with a pool on Anna Maria Island.
