The ground floor of this condo is accessible. Ground level entry, a fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, Laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer, 2 car garage with a 2nd fridge, stainless steel appliances, 2 King beds, 3 Queen Beds and 1 Queen futon in the loft. There are 2 master bedroom suites (1 up and 1 down) and two add'l quest bedrooms (1 w/1 Queen bed and 1 w/2 Queen beds). So there are 2 King Beds and 3 Queen beds in bedrooms. There is a tub and and a separate shower in lower master. There are 4 full bathrooms. Stone gas fireplace in the living room, loft area for reading and entertaining upstairs, lower level bath is accessible with easy no step access to the shower. Free wifi, Free unlimited in and out of State Long Distance Calling - this is very important since many visitors to the county find that they have poor cell phone reception.

Please Note: This house is on a parcel of land that includes 190' linear feet Lake Michigan Sand Beach frontage. However, because of the trees and other buildings, there is just a partial water view. Guests have access to the beach but it is approx 50 meters (across the parking area and across the lawn) walking from the house. It is easy, quick access to the beach, but set back enough to have quiet and privacy from all of the beach activity. You can still hear the water at night from the house.

Great House and Amazing Sunrises
Had a great time. The house was perfect. Clean and quiet and as advertised. Loved the location. Watched the sunrise on the beach and from our deck. Would highly recommend it!! We will be back.

Family girl's weekend - fall fun
The property was wonderful to host a multi-generational girl's weekend (30s to 80s). I had major hip surgery a few weeks prior to the trip, so the accessibility features came in handy. The house had everything needed for navigating on crutches including a ramp from the garage to the house. Everything was well labeled and there were instructions for everything in the home you would need. We enjoyed the large dining table for meals and games. We took the short stroll to the beach for sunrise and northern lights. We had one small issue that the owner addressed in minutes. We also got some great food suggestions from the owner's sister. It was a short drive to everything in Door County. We enjoyed a trolley tour, wine tasting, Peninsula State Park, and many shops. We are likely to rent this home again for future family gatherings if it is available.

This was a siblings weekend, we had 4 couples. Plenty of room in the home, never felt crowded. We cooked all our meals at the house, kitchen is large enough for several people to work easily. Would definitely recommend this house for a large group.

Great property in a quiter area of Door County. Close to the beach, amenities and activities. Owner did a great job of making the propery handicap accessible. Very spacious house for all 10 members of the family. Mark is a great host.

Jacksonport stay
The home was nice but could use extra seating in the family room, soap and Kleenex in the bathrooms, some cooking seasonings (at least salt and pepper), plastic wrap, tin foil and baggies. Towels and pillows very thin. Could use 2 extra pillows in each bedroom. Some of the bedroom and bathroom doors squeak and do not latch easily( need to slam shut). Oven and fire pit not clean upon arrival and security code did not work.

the place was very nice and spacious. our only concern was the cobwebs and spiders hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen area. Wondering how well it was cleaned. The sheets on the beds felt like there was sand on them. Otherwise it was great. Thanks

Awesome property
Had a great stay….. 3 couples and there would have been room for more. Enjoyed this “quiet side” with close restaurants and plenty of shopping, parks, history, etc close by. I highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay
We were a group of 9 seniors, all family, 3couples and a single. We wanted 4 bedrooms and 4 baths so everyone could have the privacy they wanted. The commons spaces gave us lots of room to gather without being at all crowded. Unfortunately our 3 days turned out to be rainy, misty, and cloudy so we weren’t able to take advantage of the beach and outdoor spaces. But because of the indoor space we had a lot of laughs and sharing of memories. Definitely recommend to families and larger groups. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic beach house
We are in love with this property. The location is ideal as we love the “quiet side” of Door County. You can’t beat the beach! House is perfectly stocked with all you need in the kitchen and baths. Great to have laundry just to dry towels! Mark is super responsive… a great host!

Clean. Just steps from the lake.
The house was perfect for our group. It was great being right by the lake. Walked along it every morning. We’d never stayed in ‘the quiet side’ before and enjoyed it. But you do end up driving around a lot more. The owner provides just enough towels and bedding- no extras. Likely due to people taking them to the beach. You may want to bring extras unless you have time to do laundry.

Beautiful home with a lot of space to spread out for 6 adults. Lovely decor and all the amenities we needed were provided. While the sand beach was very accessible, water views from the house were limited. Check out expectations should be listed on site so you know before you get to the house.

Get for 4 couples. Could use a couple area rugs or something to keep the noise muffled a little. The noise really carries throughout the house. Also the pillows are very flat and there weren't more in closets to add to your bed. Very clean and tidy.

Our annual Door Co getaway
We’ve come to Door Co every year for probably 15 years, it’s always a favorite time for us. The house was great for 4 couples, spacious, clean, with everything we needed.

Very clean property. Roomy accommodations - 5 children, 5 adults comfortable. We thought the house would be located right on the beach but is in fact behind other condos. But still very close to beach. Did not create a problem.

Great property
This was a perfect property for my grandson in a wheelchair as well as the rest of my family. The inside of the house was very clean and there wss enough room for everyone to have their own space. The charcoal grill and the firepit was especially nice. The outside of the condo needed a powerwash but overall a great property.

New in 2014, this home was built on my parents' homestead. My 7 siblings and I played on this beach daily in the summer. This property is very dear to us. Our father, was born and raised next door to this property. His grandparents emigrated from Quebec and were commercial fishermen. After serving in the Navy during WWII, he purchased this beach property. In 1957, Richard and Helen built a home and several small cottages on the beach front and began operating 'Lake Shore Summer Homes'. They established a reputation for outstanding hospitality and one of the most beautiful beaches in Door County and had the same guests returning year after year for almost 50 years. In 2006, our family began the construction of new condominiums, removing the small cottages and completely rebuilding the family homestead. This property is part of my parents' legacy and the shoreline, the views of the lake and sounds of the waves are in our blood! We have decided to share it with you. Come stay with us and enjoy the beautiful sand beach in Jacksonport, WI.

Why they chose this property

It is built on my parents former beach property where I grew up. It is our second home now as we live in Atlanta. We have traveled around the world and this is still 'home' and our favorite place to spend time with our family.

What makes this property unique

Jacksonport is relaxing and uncommercialized! While there is everything you would want and need in the village of Jacksonport, it remains calm and tranquil. Many guests who have stayed with us say that they don't want anyone to know about it because they want it to remain calm and quiet! Jacksonport is centrally located between the main attractions and villages of Door County. Jacksonport is a unique area in Door County since it has the longest stretches of sand beach in the county.
