Beautiful 19th century house with character, fully renovated, in a large park. There is a covered patio near the pool. The pool can be easily covered to keep it warm and clean. Excellent tennis courts and private sauna. 5 acres of private woodland leading up to the Lot border, 2.5 acres around the house is fenced off. A short walk through the orchard (from which you can pick fruit) and you will be at the river, ideal for a spot of fishing in peace. The décor is pretty and sophisticated, the furnishings are elegant and the whole atmosphere is very comfortable. An 18th century farm-style cottage acts as a games room. The house sits in the tourist regions of Lot and Garonne, where you can enjoy the magnificent golf courses at Castelnaud and Villeneuve sur Lot (6 miles away). Agen airport is 18 miles away and Bergerac 24 miles away.

A wonderful French Manoir, full of character & charm. A lovely big , warm, salt water pool and shady eating area, perfect for all the family.

A lovely house!

We had a fantastic time here. Claudine was there to greet us and give a tour, and was very patient with our terrible French. There were 8 of us, but the house and grounds are enormous so we really felt like we had a lot of room. We made good use of the outdoor areas, which are brilliant. A lot of BBQ, swimming, tennis and boating on the river. No day trips for us, just a very relaxing stay in a house that is quirky but loveable! We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful House

Claudine's property is huge. We were a three families. My Family - two adults and three teenagers. My sister's family - two adults and two teenagers and my parents. And we were all accommodated very comfortably. What to expect: A beautifully proportioned large house with loads of space both inside and out. Huge amounts of charm and historical features. Fun in the boat at the end of the garden which leads down to the River Lot. Tennis courts and swimming pool (which has a permanent hinged cover that you can raise). This has been Claudine's family home for decades, so don't expect it be very modern, or clinical. Yet it has what you need for a good holiday. The pictures sum the house up well.

Une très belle semaine !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille dans la grande et belle maison de Claudine. Le jardin est immense, la piscine (au sel) très agréable et le tennis ombragé est un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Super séjour entre ami

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Malpertus, il y a plein de chose à faire, tennis, piscine, balade en barque, le gros point fort est l’accès direct au Lot depuis la propriété ! La propriétaire est également très sympathique et arrangeante. En bref, mes amis et moi-même recommandons cette location ☺️

Zeer geslaagde vakantie in een prachtig domein

De ontvangst was zeer warm en uitgebreid en het contact met de eigenaar tijdens ons verblijf was zeer positief. Naast de prachtige woning is het domein voorzien van een zeer ruim en goed verwarmd zwembad., een echte luxe voor de kinderen. Het goed verzorgde tennisplein is een grote meerwaarde. Het sanitair in de woning is wel aan een vernieuwing toe en ook het aanwezige kookmateriaal is eerder beperkt voor 12 gasten. Conclusie: een uiterst geslaagde vakantie in een prachtig domein met karakter. Guy

Prachtige locatie

Karakteristieke, oude maar verzorgde woning! Erg schoon en erg geschikt voor grote gezelschappen. Schoon en warm zwembad en een goed onderhouden tennisbaan. Vissen is mogelijk maar aan de rivierzijde is wel veel begroeiing en de bomen in en onder water maken het vissen onder de eigen kant erg lastig.

Merveilleux sejour

La propriété est magnifique, tant l’intérieur que l’extérieur, énormément d’équipements bien entretenus (tennis ombragé, sauna, piscine de grande dimension, accès direct t en barque sur le lot,… ). L’ambiance château rajoute du charme, et ont comblé autant les adultes que les petits. L’intérêt touristique direct des environs reste un peu décevant mais cela n’est pas grave vu les choses à faire dans la demeure! La propriétaire a été très accueillante et bienveillante.

Superbe propriété

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle et vaste propriété. La maison est tres grande avec de grandes chambres et une cuisine bien équipée, le terrain est immense ce qui est idéal pour les enfants avec un superbe verger, une très grande piscine bien chaude et un court de tennis bien entretenu. La propriétaire a été très réactive quand nous avons eu un souci avec un robinet. Je recommande !

A large, spacious and well furnished property with plenty of room for all the family.

We had a wonderful week enjoying the facilities of the property. The tennis court was good and shaded by trees. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and we were able to watch them from under the vast shady area of a large adjacent barn. We took all our meals out under this barn roof and enjoyed table tennis and a barbecue. Close by were the interesting Bastide villages which we visited and also a local cycle track to the town of Villeneuve s/Lot. The property provided 4 cycles for our use. The owner was extremely welcoming and the gardener came three times in the week so if we had any problems he was able to help us. We would certainly recommend this property for anyone interested in visiting this area of France. Lesley May

Excellente semaine en famille.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans la magnifique propriété de Malpertus avec nos enfants et petits-enfants. La maison de maître est très spacieuse et décorée avec goût. Grands et petits conserveront de merveilleux souvenirs de ce séjour et particulièrement des bons moments passés tant dans la piscine chauffée et couverte que sur le terrain de tennis. Nous avons pu découvrir de jolis villages médiévaux aux alentours (Pujols - Penne d'Agenais - Monflanquin - Villeréal) Merci à Mme Coriat pour son accueil très chaleureux; c'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons. vacance idéale

Notre séjour dans cette superbe propriété est inoubliable. Une semaine n'est pas de trop pour en faire le tour. Traversant le verger, nous avons petit déjeuner au bord de la rivière en étant encore dans le domaine ! La piscine permet de belles longueurs et les jardins sont de manière élégante , mariés au naturel du pays. La maison dégage une saveur de roman ou de film , nous ne nous lassions pas de la parcourir jour après jours, découvrant mille et une anecdotes historiques ou humoristique. On se l'approprie tout de suite et l'on regrette de la quitter. Inoubliable !!
