The location was perfect for the event I attended. The view of the harbor and ocean is unobstructed. The furnishings are comfortable. The house and condo rules were prominently displayed and easy to follow. Personal communication with the owner got a immediate response.

Aloha Condo

1286 is a great location within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The view is amazing, especially the sunsets. The owners directions for entering the car park and the condo were easy to understand.

Playing Tourist

We are from Hawaii but now live on mainland. We come back every year and usually stay with friends and relatives. This time we decided to play tourist and stay in Waikiki. This unit could not have been better because of the amenities and the location for the things we wanted to do. The building is older but well maintained and the location was easy walking to the Hilton Lagoon Beach, Ala Moana Shopping Center and the rest of Waikiki.

Great location, great view but tired kitchen.

Just spent a week in Honolulu and the location of this condo is fantastic. Beautiful views across the Marina and only a short walk (about 20minutes) to Waikiki Beach. The condo is reasonably well equipped but the kitchen is definitely in need of a Reno. The cupboards are a bit tired and showing their age.

Beautiful view

We booked this condo a while back. As per the pictures it was decent. The view is spectacular and the check in and check out process are efficient. The unit itself it dated to my family’s taste. Cleanliness of the unit could be better. What I mean by that is we found property from previous guest behind the sofa bed. And the tub could have been clean better. We communicate with the owners and we had a response in a timely manner. The bed was comfortable. The sofa bed mattress is not in the greatest condition. As is lumpy and has deteriorated from the use. Appliances worked good. Expect the microwave on the counter top. Again, cleaning on handles of appliances would have been nice as we found stains from previous tenants. Not a big deal but for better experience it would great if renters didn’t have to worry about it ..Unit has some beach chairs or which one was broken. We had a small visitors (roaches). Which we informed the owner and the property manager took care of it. Owner and property manager were nice and responsive. The unit itself has a lot of potential. A little paint goes a long way especially in the bathroom. Should we go back to Oahu we will probably look for another place to stay. One thing this place has going for it is the view and the location .

Aloha, The place we stayed was a haven of comfort, perfectly complementing our excellent travel and experience in O’ahu. The apartment, meticulously clean and thoughtfully designed, offered a serene view of the Marina. The breathtaking sunrise and sunset over the Waikiki oceanfront were a daily spectacle. Every aspect of the unit, from the amenities to the space, was tailored to our comfort, making it an ideal retreat for three people. Travelling with my son and brother, we found the neighborhood to be perfect. It was quiet, yet everything we needed was within walking distance. The friendly locals added to the charm of the place. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning soon. I would like to express my special gratitude to Gill and Vlad for providing us with such a fantastic place, and to Ryan for his kindness and attentiveness, which made our stay one of the best. The property itself was nice! Beautiful view and communication leading up to the stay was spot on. The room was nice and spacious. The only drawbacks were the over-the-range microwave did not work, however, they did have one on the counter to use. When we first got there I was looking around to see what was in the kitchen and when I opened up the dishwasher there were three roaches around the rim. Every day throughout our stay I was killing around 3 a day either in the kitchen or in the bathroom, or both. Places will have bugs of some sort, I understand that, just every day got to be a little much.

Awesome location and view

My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon/visit with family that live in Oahu and this condo was perfect! We sat on the lanai every morning sipping coffees and whale watching. Beautiful sunsets in evenings before dinner as well. We rented a car and got to drive around the island, but if you didn’t get a car rental there is so much nearby. Hilton Hawaiian Village is a short walk away and they have live music in the evenings. You can catch fireworks Friday nights from the condo too! The place was clean, some little cockroaches here and there. If you’re familiar with Hawaii you know it’s nothing unusual really, just put your food in the fridge. Bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Check in was super easy and the attendants in the parking garage were super helpful when it came to purchasing multiple nights for the structure. They have beach chairs and other beach necessities available as well. Which was really awesome. All in all I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Mahalo nui loa 🌺 Looking forward to our next visit.

Brutely Honest

The condo's location was great, fantastic sunsets. that being said we both developed a cough the next day took an allergy pill that seemed to help. We had planned on staying two weeks..made it 8-9 days. we noticed a mildew and mold smell upon arrival back one day....if we left the sliding door open and fan on high it wasn't so bad. once we closed the door for the evening we both became stuffed up again. Once we landed in Portland, the next morning the cough was gone?? We weren't going to say a word, and lost 3-4 nights which won't get refunded..it should we go to the islands every year, but if some one was azmatic they would lose there entire trip, and these folks give no refunds....we are being brutely honest

Excellent condo in a great location and with a stunning view

I was born and raised in Honolulu, as was my niece who stayed with me. We were here for a few days while we were taking care of family matters due to a death in the family. This place was wonderful! We wanted somewhere quiet, clean, and with on-site parking and convenient access to Manoa, Kaimuki, and other parts of Honolulu. This unit at the Waikiki Marina more than fit the bill. It was equipped with everything a home away from home should have, and it was very quiet even though it was above the very popular Chart House Restaurant. At one point, we found that we needed more linens, and the local agent, Ryan, was extremely responsive and got them over to us within 20 minutes! Parking was easy and plentiful, and our frequent trips in and out were a breeze. The fact that the 12th floor unit faced the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor was a bonus! Watching the spectacular sunset from the balcony was so soothing, especially since we were dealing with difficult matters. We will definitely keep this unit in mind for our next trip to Honolulu.

Amazing and wonderful stay in the Ilikai Marina condo

My family is originally from Hawaii, so we were looking for a place close to where they lived. We also wanted a beautiful view that reminded us that we were on vacation. Gillian and Vlad's condo definitely fit the bill. It's a 7 minute walk to the lagoon and beach at the Hilton, which we visited everyday (it is open to the public). It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to Magic Island/Ala Moana Park depending which section you want to go. Ala Moana Mall is a 10 minute walk away. An ABC store is across the street. Food Pantry, a full grocery store, is also down the road. The view is amazing. We spent a lot of time on the lanai, watching boats come and go into the marina, and had a wonderful panorama toward Waikiki and west Oahu, which included sunsets and Friday fireworks at the Hilton. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom area, which has a sliding door for privacy, which both my son and I appreciated. My son found the pull out bed in the living room comfortable, and a bed topper was provided in the closet, which we used. We loved having a full kitchen and cooked quite a bit. You had pretty much everything you needed in terms of utensils and pots and pans. Also, we eat a lot of rice, so we appreciated the rice cooker that was available. A rolling cart is provided, which was useful for carting items to the beach as well as for grocery shopping.Beach towels, pool noodles, beach chairs and mats were available for use. We also made use of the drying rack for beach items.

Waikiki Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the llikai Marina Condo. The view and location were great. The size of the condo was perfect for my husband and I and was nice having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out as often. Although we did not get to see the Friday night fireworks put on by the Hawaiian Hilton because we decided to see a show I heard they were very nice. The only downfall with our stay was when we arrived the toilet was making a high pitch noise which was very annoying. My husband played with the handle and tank and it would stop or if you flushed the toilet it would stop but would come back around 3 to 4 hours later. I called Ryan as instructed if we had any issues and spoke with Ryan who suggested trying a few things which we did but didn't work. Ryan was to call back the next day when he was in the area but never did so we put up with this annoying sound. The worst was in the middle of the night it would wake you up so you had to get up and flush the toilet and you were good for another few hours. We stayed 4 nights so by the 4th night we were ready to go. When I spoke with Ryan upon checkout he apologized for not stopping by because he was busy. I thought the condo was nicely furnished, other than the toilet issues we had a pleasant stay. This was our first time booking through VRBO so not sure if we would book again. I would of rated 4 stars if not for the toilet issue.

.Amazing Scenery of the ocean and all the boats beneath in a well kept condo that has nice furniture and full kitchen items. Sunsets are sensational !tunning!

This is a very attractive unit on the 12th floor. You'll find a really comfortable bed that is large. The view out the windows look down on all the small types of boats with good activity. Being directly around the unit has high class buildings and hotels that provide numerous good eating places. There is a small lanai for 2 to experience at the unit. Friday fireworks provided by the Hilton hotel can be enjoyed after a hulu and musical entertainment show at the Ilikai Hotel next door to your Ilikai Marina Condo 1286. Our favorite that we like most is the sunset each evening which many days are the best we have ever seen. Also extremely important is such great owners that touch all the eyes and cross all the T's when it comes to working with you and there support units @ Aloha Condos.com Mel and Audrey Nehrkorn

Enjoyable stay

This was our 3rd stay at this building and this was our favorite unit! The condo was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the A/C was quiet! We love the location and the sunset view! We are very regular visitors to Oahu as we have friends and family there, so we always rent a car. It was a shock to see the daily parking rate went up 22%. Perhaps the owners would consider that expense when pricing their unit in the future. Overall a great place to stay so we will try and stay here again!

Good Location

The condo was in a convenient location to Waikiki but also was crowded. At least at night things were quieter and less busy. It was walkable to the tourist area but other parts of the island required a car. Unfortunately, the parking was extremely expensive. ($28 per day, a 20%+ increase over what we were told.) I understand that the host has no control over this but it should be considered into the price of renting this unit. Overall I would recommend the unit if price is not an issue.

Great location and beautiful views

This condo has a great location with great views, it is a 15 minutes walk to the heart of Waikiki but we liked to be close to other beaches and Ala Moana center, there are many options nearby to get food. If you rent a car, having the parking lot right in the building is very convenient too. The parking was $23 per day as of Sep 2022. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can have breakfast there or even cook something if you want. Another bonus that we really appreciated and used a lot is the beach gear found in the apartment, at the time of our stay there were 3 beach chairs, beach mats and other stuff. Finally the support in case you need anything is great, we got very fast responses every time.

Our family vacay

The condo was nice. The view was amazing! You can see the fireworks from the balcony. It was nice having a kitchen [with all the cookware and cutlery] to cook in so you dont have to eat out all the time. And just to be clear, there is no pool here. I was looking through so many rooms that I got confused and thought there was a pool. Don't fret, the lagoon is near by but water was ice cold. The magic island was the best! Also this place has a laundry room on the 8th floor. Make sure you look at the hours bc they lock that door up til morning, w the clothes still going. Lol. Also, laundry runs about $6.50 to wash and dry a load. You can pay by app and/or credit card only. You will need to bring your own detergent, which you can buy at the abc. Overall it was nice. Our family enjoyed it!
