This beautiful air-conditioned bungalow includes 2 queen bedrooms, each with own private ensuite. The queen beds have cool gel memory foam mattress toppers which provides a very comfortable, relaxing night sleep. A great room and kitchen share the central area between the 2 bedrooms. This home offers all latest appliances and amenities as shown in the pictures taken September 2024.

Bronze tinted sliding doors and windows Reflect 80% of the UV heat while allowing the light in. The Bronze mirrored tinting not only keeps the house cool but provides privacy and security.

The house includes all modern conveniences including barbeque/grill, laundry room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.

The front covered porch offers a shaded area ideal for dinner and drinks. Sliding doors from each bedroom lead to comfortable chairs and table for a morning seat and coffee where you can enjoy watching the many palm trees blowing in the warm breeze.

The house is equipped with Starlink internet for your use and a 55 inch smart TV.

New linens and towels are included and are continually replaced on a regular basis.

Our beautiful bungalow is only steps away to a short-deeded access path leading you to one of the most spectacular beaches on the Island. The calm waters of Ten Bay Beach offer swimming, snorkeling, bone fishing and shelling. Be sure not to miss a sunset you'll never forget.

Family vacation

Peaceful palms is an excellent location on Eleuthra, the house is wonderful for two couples, our adult son and his girlfreind were with us and we had plenty of room. Planning on coming back again soon. Tens Beach is a short walk away with hardly anyone on it. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks Karen and Jim for having this wonderful place.

Love Ten Bay

Everything was exactly as described, just better! The rooms and porch are spacious and comfortable. Short walk to the beach is shaded and pleasant; perfect beach for small children. Walkable neighborhood with no traffic. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. Close to groceries (Midway Cost Cutter and Island Farm are a five minute drive and a new grocery store is opening soon in Gov Harbor). We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time at Peaceful Palms. It is a calm place. The house is spotless and very well equipped. The bedding is comfortable. It is easy to communicate with the owner. It is really close to a wonderful beach. We recommend this house and for sur we will go back.

Perfect location .

At Ten Bay Beach and 4 minutes away from Groceries, Bakery and Fresh produce. House was extremely comfortable and convenient. Host was very gracious and helpful in responding to our questions. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs and snorkel gear. Water comes from a cistern and it was easy to be careful and not overdo use. There were no problems.

A perfect trip

The property is stunningly beautiful with high attention to detail and comfort. The owner and caretaker are both easily reachable and helpful. Quiet area. Gorgeous beach. We would definitely choose this property again.

Beautiful property, well maintained, very quiet, short walk to a gorgeous beach. Only challenge during our stay was a very flaky power grid causing long outages 5 days out of 7. Hosts may consider back up generator.

Great location just a short walk to Ten Bay beach.

Wonderful comfortable home with great mattresses and at the midway point on Eluethra. Minutes drive to midway convenient store that is very well stocked. 15 minutes to Governors for restaurants. Can have air conditioning or open the windows for fresh air. Snorkeling equipment, lots of beach chair choices and floats. Such a comfortable home. Would highly recommend for a couple, couples or family.

Wonderful spot

My husband and I stayed at Peaceful Palms for eight nights. The property, as others have noted, is just as advertised and (in my opinion) even a bit better than expected. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, super responsive owner, and caretaker nearby for any needs. The nearby beach is lovely and a very short walk across the road. The house is near a number of other beaches (20 minutes or less) and restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Time at Peaceful Palms

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Peaceful Palms. The home is clean, completely furnished with everything we needed, private and spacious. We walked to Ten Bay beach (about 1 min) most days - spectacular and at most a half dozen people way off in the distance. Reasonably stocked grocery store a short drive away (Midway Cost Cutter) and Island Farms produce not far the other direction. Overall highly recommend! Thank you Karen and Jim for a fantastic visit!

Wonderful location. Steps from beach we saw lots of amazing sea life snorkelling just off the beach. Property’s is well set up for two couples. Great time. Bring bug spray! Sand flies on most beaches

Paradise at Peaceful Palms

My husband and I are so happy we found Peaceful Palms. It is a lovely rental. The home is spacious, well-equipped, the WiFi is top-notch and the hosts were helpful and friendly. Sherman greeted us, and he brought fresh vegetables to us during our stay. The calm, turquoise water of Ten Bay beach is a very short walk from the home. It’s visible from the back porch. It’s apparent the property is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. We will be back. Cheers to a memorable stay at Peaceful Palms.

Paradise for sure!

Peaceful Palms was just as the name suggests — very peaceful. It was a wonderful place and would definitely stay here again. The house was very clean, very close short walk to the beautiful Ten Bay beach, close to groceries, close to the Island Farm market for fresh baked bread on Tuesday’s and Friday’s, and a short 10 minute drive to La Bougainvillea resort where I enjoyed using the pool on several occasions. The owners, Karen and Jim and caretaker Sherman, were all wonderful. Very supportive, responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for the use of your place.

Fantastic rental and stay!

The property is absolutely perfect! I would not hesitate in recommending it for your stay. In fact, it's probably one of the nicest properties we've ever experienced when renting from HomeAway or their competing sites. It's situated just about a 3 minute walk from the beautiful Ten Bay, and is Central to Eleuthera which we thought was perfect for exploring the entire island. One of the islands better markets, Cost Cutters, is only a short drive South, and Governor's Harbour is about 20 minutes away. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the property when we first arrived, and were even more happy when we toured a couple of the surrounding rental properties and saw the state that they were in. Pride of ownership really shows with Karen's property. We rented a vehicle from the property caretaker, Sherman, and he was most welcoming and informative during our drive from GHB to the property (30 mins). He was also very responsive when we had to call him for advice. The property is furnished nicely with most kitchen accessories, new appliances, TV, internet worked well, inflatable water toys, snorkel gear, beach towels, etc. Don't even think twice when considering this property if it's available for your stay. You wont be disappointed!

Perfect just as described only better!

Wife and I stayed at Peaceful Palms for 2 weeks. Everything was perfect... House was well equipped, pot and pans excellent... kitchen knife unbelievably sharp... Beds more comfortable then our own.Great internet...Sherman the caretaker was the nicest guy. He even brought us a big bag of his tomatoes and yes the were delicious. Ten Bay beach was only a short walk away and perfect for swimming and bone fishing. Even the weather was perfect! My only negative was that we thought Peaceful Palms was right on the beach which it is not. It is a very very short walk away but definitely not directly on the beach and that is probably our fault for not inquiring before booking. Thanks for everything Karen! Tom & Sharon

Idyllic Home Away From Home

If you like a quiet house with nights full of stars, spacious patios and porches, a stunning beach five minute walk away with very good snorkeling, this is the place for you. The rooms are so large and spacious! The kitchen is complete! The beach toys, umbrellas, towels, snorkels wonderful! The wi-fi faster than that found on Paradise Island/Nassau! Perfect TV with free Netflix and other apps. Ceiling fans and air con in each room. The owners have thought of everything, and are helpful and welcoming, and all for a reasonable price. We also rented a nice spacious vehicle from the caretaker, who also shared his homegrown tomatoes. Fresh bakery bread/veggies/local sauces a few minutes drive in one direction, full service grocery a few minutes in the other. Graceful palms will mesmerize you as you relax on the porch. The beach is a graceful arching bow of sand at high tide with ankle-deep Caribbean green water for acres, or acres of soft sand at low tide, all ringed by trees and frequently deserted, or sometimes its beauty enhanced by a sailboat or two. Sunsets at the beach should not be missed. The snorkeling is safe and gentle, best at low tide, where shoals of fish fry weave circles around you as you spy yellow rays on the sand below, Christmas tree worms and other soft creatures by the dozens, along with collector sea urchins, whelks, and sea cucumbers. Other beaches, and the faster pace of Governor's Harbor, are all within driving distance. Peaceful Palms will enchant you as it has enchanted us. To have one of the top ten beaches of Eleuthera within walking distance is unbelievably relaxing. We visited with our two older teens, and it truly felt like home away from home and hope to return. It was also nice to just clean out the fridge and leave -- the cleaning service changes the bedding, sweeps, and so on, unlike in some VRBO we've used.

Exceeded our expectations

We enjoyed six nights at the lovely Ten Bay Beach Cottage. The house included everything needed for a fabulous beach day: chairs, umbrella, insulated bags, ice packs, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable, A/C was efficient and wi-fi was reliable. The short walk to Ten Bay Beach was perfect for an afternoon snorkel or to watch the sunset. The location is almost mid-island and perfect for exploring both Atlantic and Caribbean beaches. We made several trips to Mid-way Cost Cutters and Island Farms, both conveniently located near the house. Karen and Jim are very responsive and their house is ideal for your next visit to Eleuthera and I highly recommend it. ML

Great home

This was our second time staying at Ten Bay Paradise. The home is modern and well equipped with anything you may need. Great central location for exploring north or south and the wonderful Ten Bay beach just steps away. The owners are easy to work with and helpful. Easy rental car from the caretaker in good shape and good on gas. I would highly recommend this property.

Ten Bay Triumph

What a beautiful home! Every possible need one would have is met! Great bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen SO well equipped, water toys abundantly provided and of course just steps away from the amazing Ten Bay Beach. The Beach Book by Bret Sigillo and Gunnar Ek was a great item left at the home. We utilized it to it's fullest traveling the central and lower section of Eleuthera. If you want to walk beautiful beaches [besides Ten Bay of course] this book is your guide. Coordinates are given and great reviews that both very accurate. Meeting the fishermen at the dock in Governor's Harbour offered fresh fish and conch each day. Our experience was to get there by 2 pm or so - 3 pm was a bit too late. Conch Salad prepared right in front of you is something not to be missed. Karen and Jim were communicating regularly and genuinely concerned that everything was there for us. Sherman was also available as needed and has great stories!

June 2017 Family Vacation

We went to the Bahamas with our daughter and her young family, we found Ten Bay Bungalow perfect for our needs. Ten bay beach is one of our favorite beaches and it was only about 198 steps away. Kemps Cove is just up the road if you like snorkeling. Jim and Karen have a beautiful, well maintained house with all the extras that you could want, including a copy of the Beaches of Eleuthera book that we found very helpful. Our first trip to Eleuthera was in 2009 and we immediately fell in love with the island. The beaches, blue water, love and kindness of the locals made it an easy decision to to buy property and build our home.

Karen, originally from Scotland, loves the sun and ocean while Jim enjoys fishing and exploring the many beautiful beaches. During a trip in 2014 we rescued a little dog 'potcake' as they are called in the Bahamas. She now lives with us and her 2 brothers in Canada and is healthy and happy.

Ten Bay will always be special to us and we strive to ensure our guests enjoy their stay in Eleuthera and at Peaceful Palms as much as we do.

A short, 1 minute walk to Ten Bay Beach and centrally located on the island allowing you to easily explore the 130 plus beaches of Eleuthera. Pink sand beaches on the Atlantic side and sparkling white sand of the Caribbean. You have to be there to believe it !!
