**DOWNSTAIRS RECENTLY REMODELED**

La Vista-Spanish Hideaway (STR25-000083) is a canal home rental in Jamaica Beach.

Downstair Room: 2 twins with attached bathroom, shower and bar area

Living room upstairs has a queen sleeper sofa. Also includes pack-n-play and highchair.

Its location on a large part of the canal gives easy access to the bay and beautiful views from the swing, hammock or downstairs bar.

Fish in the fishing lights, take a ride on the 2 person kayak, and go biking throughout the neighborhood to the park or to the beach on one of the bikes provided for your enjoyment. Neighborhood pool now open for use. Last season cost was @ $5/person over 6 yrs old or $25/person for entire season (must check with pool for current rates). Pool located next to the playground and basketball courts. Effective June 17, 2020, the neighborhood has a boat launch area that requires a permit and fee for use. The permit can only be obtained during business hours Monday-Thursday by the owners, so please advise in advance if you need us to collect a permit for you to use the boat docking area.

House features WiFi and Smart TVs along with many board games and books to keep everyone entertained.

Large events/parties NOT allowed.

Annual Family Fishing Trip

We had all the space needed to have an enjoyable stay. The property is as shown in the listing. The host was very accommodating and answered any questions promptly. Unfortunately, the fish didn’t cooperate, but the crabs did. We’ll get them next time.

This place was great. Had plenty of room, amenities, and location was perfect. Bar was the perfect place to gather and just hanging out. I highly recommend this place for a vacation and the Cindy was great to work with.

Perfect spot for family trip!

The property is very clean, we had everything we could need, and it was located very close to the beach. Was only a 2 minute drive to the beach access point. We loved being able to take the kayak out in the mornings, and sit out on the deck with a cup of coffee. Overall we had an awesome stay as a family. Only thing I’d suggest is more grilling utensils and sharpening of knives but everything was still usable.

Perfect Getaway

This Jamaica Beach house was the perfect getaway to celebrate my buddy getting married. We spent most of our time sitting at the outdoor bar and taking in the beautiful views. The amenities are everything you need and more. As an added value, a food mart, cantina, and pizzeria are conveniently close by. A+++

We loved the house!!!! It really was a great stay, we stayed for 10 night and loved every one. Had small issue and the caretaker was there within an hour and resolved the issue!! We will definitely try to stay there again!! 10 stars!

Best couple retreat.

We were hesitant to spend so much on a place we would only be at to only sleep at. We arrived on Friday evening from Dallas, and then had an all day fishing excursion planned. After we checked in, no one wanted to leave! We felt so comfortable in the house and loved the downstairs bar and fishing spot that we cancelled our dinner reservations Saturday. I have already recommended the house to several friends.

Better Than Expected

My family and I got together at this beautiful home for a weekend of relaxation. This home is better than we expected!! We planned on having a beach day but the home is right on the water so we stayed all weekend enjoying the water and the outdoor kitchen! The outdoor restroom is perfect so no one has to go upstairs. We will absolutely book again this summer!

Perfect!

We took our two teenage sons and a friend to this great spot. The home was as advertised with plenty of room and was well appointed. There is a ton of room for fishing and we FISHED! We caught many different types of fish but the two 'slot' redfish and numerous speckled trout were the prizes. We will definitely be back in the future!

Our love of fishing has lead us to rentals on Jamaica Beach canals for the majority of those 50 years. We decided it was time to make one of these wonderful properties our own. When we looked at this house, we knew it was perfect for us. It has great fishing, wonderful views and plenty of room for our family and friends to gather either upstairs or downstairs at the bar. We love Jamaica Beach so much that we now have 2 properties. Our other property is located on East Bayside Way ID: 3753639.

What makes this property unique

The swing and hammock on the deck downstairs that looks out across the canal was too inviting to pass up. We knew this wonderful house was perfect and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.
