About this property

Take your time waking up and rolling out of bed in this tastefully furnished condo that has oceanfront views. It features a flat screen TV in the living room with a queen size sleeper sofa. Free WiFi. The master bedroom has a king size bed and adjoining bathroom with walk-in shower. This bedroom faces the ocean and has fantastic views of the ocean and dunes.
The second bedroom has two twin size beds and an adjoining full bath with tub/shower combo.
Large capacity washer and dryer in unit.
Main level has new new laminate flooring.

Harbor Island is a gated private island that boasts almost 3 miles of beach. It is located less than 15 miles from historic downtown Beaufort.
Here you will find peace and serenity as you walk along the unspoiled beach. There are many different species of birds that nest on the south side of the island. The Loggerhead turtles nest on this and nearby islands.
Hunting Island, a state park, is two miles south and it is a favorite attraction for many Lowcountry visitors. There is a lighthouse and great trails to run or walk that keep cool during the summers due to Hunting Island's beautiful tree canopy.
Historic Downtown Beaufort is a must see! The town is a friendly, walking community with many boutiques and restaurants. The marina and waterfront is an easy place to take the family and enjoy ice cream or just stroll along the park. There are many Historic homes that are nationally registered and absolutely fascinating to learn about during a carriage tour.
Forrest Gump, The Big Chill, The Prince of Tides, The Great Santini and other films were filmed on location here and you may recognize some of the homes.

Island amenities include, 2 tennis courts, a clubhouse with a kiddie pool, Villa-guest only pool adjacent to the building, basketball court, playground, putting greens, fitness center.

OUTSTANDING

Absolutely will stay here again! It’s a beautiful, clean and safe condo located on a quiet beach just miles away from several attractions and plenty of restaurants near by! The owner is accommodating, friendly and quick to respond. I highly recommend staying here!

Great Condo in a Beautiful, Peaceful Location

We enjoyed staying in this condo! It was as advertised or perhaps even better. The views are incredible and the photos don't do justice to the views, especially from the master bedroom (on the top floor). The property is much quieter than expected, definitely a calmer, quieter area than places such as Isle of Palms (Charleston) or Fripp Island just up the road.I stayed in the condo with my 2 sons (ages 14 & 11) and they absolutely loved the experience. They were really happy to have their own twin beds in the second bedroom and their own bathroom. There is a small desk in the living room which came in quite handy when all three of us were sitting with our computers. We did not use the TVs simply because we don't really watch TV, but it was a "nice to have" regardless.We really appreciated the state parks pass and spent an entire day on Hunting Island. I grew up in the area and that has always been, and always will be, my favorite beach to spend the day on. Also, the beach chairs & towels in the condo were a great plus.Of note, the bedrooms have different bedding than shown in the photos and are much cuter and "beachy" themed than shown, which was a delightful surprise. Recommendation - Don't forget to bring some regular ground coffee if you enjoy coffee! I brought k-cups in anticipation of a Keurig-style coffee maker but the coffee maker is a regular coffee maker. The closest grocery store is back toward town.

Excellent Holiday Stay!

We had a wonderful week's stay over Christmas week 2024. The property is very comfortable, especially with two bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. We actually had our two grandsons join us for three nights, and they loved the property...and the available basketball courts. Our only suggestion is to indicate in the listing that the property is on the 2nd and 3rd floors with several staircases leading upstairs. All in all, the condo was exactly what we were seeking!

Perfect getaway

Our stay was perfect. Perfect location to Hunting Island where we found over 1000 shark teeth. The king bed in the master was very comfortable and the space was bigger than expected. The area has plenty to do without being “touristy”. For an unexpected stay, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back to the area.

Best vacation

It was peaceful, even in a condo setting it felt private, the area is not too built up, multiple beaches, each different. I wouldn't hesitate to book this exact location again! The condo itself has amenities that we just didn't think of. The view is spectacular. You do not hear your neighbors.

We stayed 4 nights in this condo. It was clean and well furnished. The living room, kitchen & half bath were on the first floor. 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom were upstairs. My daughter loved that! The condo was located right next to the boardwalk to the beach. full bath

Perfect condo with all the amenities (including the view)that were promised. The location is outstanding for beach walking, meeting the alligator under the walkway and seeing the pelicans roost at low tide. Our host gave us all the recommendations for dining. Loved the Foolish Frog, great food and marsh view. Shopping across from it at the vintage market was great. We will be back!

Perfect for small family or quick couple get away!

Had this booked prior to the devestation in Asheville from Hurricane Helene. Sure glad we had it reserved! Was a wonderful respite from my hometown and wished we could have stayed longer. Unit was clean with every aminity needed. Great ocean front views. Beach was a bit eroded so during high tide there was very little room to set you beach chairs. Location was wonderful and close to Hunting Island for day adventures. Not too far of a drive to explore Beaufort for its historical sites and great restaurants. Owner was super easy to communicate with and check-in and out was a breeze.

Peaceful vacation

We’ve been to HI so many times over the years and truly love this little peace of paradise! Deb is a phenomenal host and the view is gorgeous. The home was clean and comfortable. And a short walk to the beach The host has thought of families and left games and towels to use also. Which was a nice surprise for the kids. The only suggestion I would make is a few more pots/pans/ pizza cutter, etc for the kitchen. We loved JCT as usual and of course barefoot bubbas! We also found mamaam and Maudie’s cafe and they have such a yummy selection of sandwiches and milkshakes! Even bubble waffle cones 😍 Can’t wait to come back in July! Thank you again for an amazing stay

Nice place to get away

My wife and I were looking for a nice spot to get away for a couple of days, this was perfect. The area is pretty quiet overall (perfect) with some great views, the state park next door, and just enough civilization close by that you can always find a restaurant or groceries without too much trouble. The condo was clean and well furnished, great view. Would definitely recommend.

Great host and location

Townhouse within walking distance to the beach; plentiful seafood and historic places to visit all around you; books, games, and movies for some down time: a balcony for bird watching and morning coffee. What more could you need! When we entered our unit we were surprised to find that housekeeping had not cleaned the unit. We called our host who responded immediately and handled the situation to our satisfaction. She was apologethic, efficient, and very easy to work with and we were able to get the situation resolved and moved on to enjoy a great time away.

February get-away

Location is perfect!! Short walk to the beach on a wooden walkway. Beach is beautiful with very interesting sandbars. Condo is a short distance from Hunting Beach State Park and is another beautiful beach and environment. We found sand dollars and other beautiful shells. The condo was very clean and seemed to be freshly painted with new flooring.The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The view from the upstairs bedroom is gorgeous especially sunrises. Kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were great. The host provided a pass for the state park and that was so much appreciated....thank you!!!

Weekend Getaway

We loved everything. The house was spotlessly clean, stocked with all essentials and both the couch and the king sized bed were very comfortable. So many times we've had terrible mattresses and uncomfortable furniture in a rental property, but this owner's attention to these kinds of details went a long way to make our stay very comfortable. Everything from booking to checking in/out was simple and worked perfectly. The owner provided a State Park pass with the unit, so we were able to visit the local parks without paying for admission. The boardwalk to the beach is immediately behind this building, so beach access couldn't have been easier. We spoke with the owner of the property before out stay, and she clearly wanted to make sure that we have a pleasant and uneventful stay, and we did. I highly recommend this property and I would certainly stay here again.

oceanside srtay

great communication with the host. very nice views from our upstairs accommodation. the furniture and kitchen are dated but worked fine. it was very foreign to us to not have recycling available (a community issue; there were recycling bins in charleston). our condo was remote; we needed to drive a fair distance to access a grocery store. it was a very quick stroll to the beach. we would stay here again.
