Great stay

The views were amazing. Close to Smith Rocks, shopping and family yet a country feel. Check-in and check-out was easy as pie. House was well stocked with all the necessary kitchen items. The bathrooms were lovely and whole house decorated in keeping with the high desert vibe. We definitely recommend this property.

Great stay in Oregon

This is a great spot to stay for a trip to central Oregon. The property was clean and communication was great. Great views from the back patio for stargazing. Nice quiet neighborhood with some wildlife sightings - deer, lizards, quail - which made things especially special for the kid in our group.

I want to live here, in this house

All in all, the best vrbo property we have inhabited. The house (every room) is beautifully appointed and immaculate, the kitchen well stocked, the deck spacious with multiple seating options, and the view just lovely. Being geezerly, we both have back issues, so it was a welcome surprise to find a bed with a supportive, but not rock-like, mattress. We rarely encounter that. In fact, I ordered that same mattress for our own home almost as soon as we walked through our front door. It’s difficult to imagine how, having chosen this place as a vacation destination, you could be disappointed by anything other than the fact that you didn’t book it for a longer stay.

A Wonderful Home Away from Home!

The perfect place with such beautiful space...lovely for stargazing the wide open sky, really close to Smith Rock, the Painted Hills...peaceful...perfect arrival temperature inside with welcoming lights on. Amazing details, super clean, every little thing you might need and more. Relaxing power jets tub, and rain showers in both bathrooms are high enough for seriously tall people! This home is in my top 3 escape homes I've ever enjoyed!

Beautiful Get Away

This is a very beautiful house and amazing property! Very clean and well kept with everything needed to enjoy our 10 day stay. The views were absolutely stunning. There were deer that walked in front of the wrap around deck along the rim in the mornings and lots of beautiful little quail wandering about making their sweet little noises and various hawks and birds flying around. Sitting on the deck in the evening while watching the beautiful orange moon rising you could hear owls hooting and coyotes howling. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again. This place is a rare find. Excellent communication with the host…Thank you Michelle for such a lovely experience.

what view?

aw... the view.. yes it was amazing... wrap around deck only made it more amazing and a full moon at night and a full sun during the day sure didnt hurt... but it was also very clean inside the house nice bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.. fro two couples u cant beat that.. and also there were a lot of extras in the cupboards to cook your meals with and few places have that anymore... but... could use a new microwave and remember to replace the propane tanks when they are empty... but if there wasnt something one would complain about what would michelle do???> ed

Memory Making… With a View

This house was a great place to call home for a long weekend. Everything you could want was there waiting for you; comfortable beds/two masters/washroom/small kitchen but very well appointed/smart tvs/ and the VIEW… oh my word, not enough words to describe the peace that view gives your soul. Guys played golf on the course below and we met for drinks after at the bar next door to the course. Great atmosphere and lovely people. Endless entertainment opportunities a short 20/30 minute drive away. Michelle was awesome and always responded w/i a minute or two of any text I sent. Amazing home and owner.

Log on the Rim

Wanderlust travelers will arrive at the log cabin, perched on the rim. Momma quail and her chicks will scurry across the driveway to welcome you. Communication from Michelle is friendly, prompt & straightforward. The log cabin is spotless throughout with large comfortable furnishings that compliment the spectacular view, especially at sunset. Spacious bathrooms feel spa-like. Lots of extras are provided in the kitchen. Take a short stroll away from cabin to feast on the breathtaking vista of The Sisters and other mountain peaks. This getaway was a one of a kind experience.

Peaceful home in a great location

Quiet street with a great wraparound deck overlooking the canyon and golf course. Beds were comfortable and overall amenities were good. Terrebonne and Crooked River Canyon had more going on than I would have expected (in a good way). Great place to stay for Smith Rock trips, golf, or just getting away.

A wonderful overall stay! Deer visits daily! Very peaceful setting. Michelle was very responsive and accommodating. Master bed very comfortable. However second bed squeaks at every move. Just saying… Look forward to another visit !
