Stone Cottage is a charming quaint one bedroom getaway for those truly in love! This home is set within an estate on the north side of St. Thomas, west of Magen's Bay, and off the beaten path. The gardens feature palms, fruit trees of all types and tropical flowers for your enjoyment. The cocktail pool is just a few steps from your master king bedroom for a romantic dip for two. Fully air-conditioned and well equipped with everything you need and furnished with bright, cheerful tropical colors. Enjoy Stone Cottage in all its simplicity. Island life as it used to be...as its meant to be. We are constantly upgrading furniture and bedding, please understand that not everything will be the same as pictured at all times :) NO EVENTS at this property! This house is for you only. You may have a very limited amount of friends for a visit provided you have owner's written permission.
Stone Cottage shares the same property with another home, but privacy is complete between the two.
*Please note that if you book during hurricane season and a storm should come, please be prepared to vacate the villa. We highly recommend CFAR (for any reason) Trip Insurance during any portion of your stay!
* Gardeners come to our property twice a month with no certain date set. Sherri will notify you the day before they are coming.

Relax at Stone Cottage!

Our stay was wonderful. Sherri is a great host. We did not see her after check-in, because she had already made sure we had everything we needed. The view is gorgeous, the property is very well-appointed, and the cottage is a super place to relax. The location is a bit far from restaurants and our favorite beaches, but the drive is worth it to get away from it all. We would love to come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Stone Cottage. The property is beautiful and the views of Dorathea Bay are much better than the pictures. Sherri was wonderful. Very accommodating, available, and full of information to help us enjoy our stay. The property had everything we needed to dine in or grill just like home. We were pretty active and always on the go but it always felt great to back to Stone Cottage at the end of the day. It really felt like home. If your looking for a rental in St Thomas, I can't image doing better than this. Cheers!

Another fabulous vacation

Last year we stayed at the two bedroom “Rockworks” villa and had such a great time we came back this year for a week at “Stone Cottage”. The property is absolutely gorgeous and Sherri is the most helpful and gracious of hosts…we will return again for sure….thanks again Sherri…Cheers!

Little Stone House is a Gem

We enjoyed our stay so much last January that we went back this year! Sherri is a really special person who makes us feel very welcome and makes the whole rental process easy and stress free. The house is very clean and appealing, just the right size for two; views of Dorthea Bay from the deck are amazing.

Perfect stay for 2 people! Beautiful property, w lush green all around.. saw iguanas, hummingbirds, birds ,beautiful roosters and even2deer on property!! Sherri the manager was right on target w all… great communication etc etc .. Villa equipped w all u need … beaches in area are absolutely beautiful…moes grocery store is great ! Very close …definitely rent a jeep if h plan on driving around…ceiling fans thru out villa.. did not need the air on …beach chairs , noodles , cooler to take to beach👍Washer and dryer … pack light !we used GPS from phone .. def helped … driving is challenging, but easy to figure out after a bit… We would not hesitate to stay there again !! Sherri was the best!!! Thank y for a great week! By the way , st Thomas is a very clean island! People very friendly and helpful!! Billy and Lisa ( roch, ny)

Amazing, MUST STAY

My wife and I got married in St. Thomas in 2013 at sugar bay. Which was destroyed in the hurricane of 2017. I wanted to surprise my wife for our 10th anniversary and come back to the island. I chose the stone cottage after viewing it on VRBO. I was a little nervous as I thought the villa would be to small. I have never been more wrong. This is the premier place for a couples getaway. To rekindle young love. It is simply breath taking to look at and we missed it immediately when leaving. The main reason the stone cottage is perfect is a result of all the hard work and dedication Sherri puts into managing the property as well as managing the relationships of the tenants that stay at the villa. I have had extensive emails with Sherri about any and all things related to the cottage and St. Thomas and I found her passion about St. Thomas and the Cottage to be so refreshing. Without her your stay will not be as it should. Thank you Sherri for making out 10th anniversary the best trip we have had together as a couple. We will see you next year! Must stay for all!!!!

Just georgeous!

The cottage was AWESOME! The views, the layout, everything! Sherri was awesome too; and funny. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. There was a power issue when we first arrived due to a tropical storm that just went through and she did everything possible to assist with the situation. The beaches and the views from driving around the mountain are breathtaking. Very memorable trip

The Best Place I've Ever Stayed In STT

I could write a novel here. I want to highlight Sherri (your hostess with the mostess) and her helpfulness, guidance and knowledge. You literally couldn't ask for a better host. The Stone Cottage itself is IMMACULATE! The photos barely do it justice. The house itself, again, is immaculate.....quality throughout. The pool is a perfect size and place to get away from the waves when you're in the mood for tranquility. The grounds of the property are absolutely gorgeous and the flora and fauna are as spectacular. I will never stay anywhere else in St. Thomas again. I can recommend this property, AND ESPECIALLY SHERRI (!!!!!) whole-heartedly on every level. Can't wait to return. A bonus??? 8 mins to Magens and even less to Hull Bay. A total hit! Can't wait to return!

Amazing!!!!!

Sherry the property manager was amazing. We took all her suggestions and it honestly made our vacation. The cottage was something out of a story book. I have done several vrbos and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. We will be back and will book to stay here again. Really can’t say enough great things!!! 5 star and more

Words can’t describe what a wonderful stay we had at Stone Cottage. Sherri, from the very beginning was wonderful. We knew what to expect, what to pack, what the parental company to go with, and she even greeted us when we got there to show us around the house, give us tips on the island, and share some of her favorite places. We listened to her suggestions, and had the most wonderful trip ever. The cottage was cozy and absolutely perfect for the two of us. We dreaded coming home. If you’re in doubt, stop. Stay here!

Peace and privacy in paradise

Stone Cottage was everything we were seeking in a very special vacation. The cottage and property is like staying in your own private resort. The cottage itself is very well maintained and super clean and comfortable. Sherri, the property manager, goes above and beyond to be there in the ways that you need with respect to advice, suggestions, tips for your visit, and answering questions that you might have. At the same time, she gives all the space that you could want, so that you can truly feel that you have found your own little oasis in the sun. This is a great place to rejuvenate your spirit. We loved the whole experience.

Perfect experience, from start to finish

The Stone Cottage on Dorothea Bay was exactly what my husband and I were looking for, a quiet little haven with a gorgeous view and close to beaches and restaurants. The host, Sherri, was extremely helpful, from the very first communication. She answered all our questions, gave great advice, met us at the airport and led us up to the cottage. She was nearby if needed, but at the same time, never intrusive. The pool was perfect and very private, and everything in the cottage was clean and comfortable. The eight days flew by, but we have sweet memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage with us! We hope to be back soon!

BEST RENTAL IN ST THOMAS

Giving a five star review was the easiest thing I’ve done in a while. We have been traveling to many different places for over 25 years and I’ve stayed in literally dozens of properties over the years. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Stone Cottage. Stone Cottage was the pinnacle of all those experiences and was by far from start to finish the most professional, accommodating Property Manager, Sherri, I have dealt with in all those years. The house was just exquisite (love, love love all the decor) - just as described, perfect location, amenities to spare. Perfectly located and peaceful with so much to do just at the Stone Cottage we didn’t wanna leave. Sincerely enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend this home to our family & friends. Waking up to the sound of waves in a secluded private retreat

Our flight was early so we communicated with our host Sherrie (via text) that we would entertain ourselves until the property was ready. We picked up our rental car and drove out to Sapphire Beach then arranged to meet her back toward the airport so she could take us up to the property. We were so thankful for her doing that as it’s a bit out of the way, and it made it so personable to have her walk thru the property with us. We felt so comfortable there and did not hesitate at all to text her with any questions we had. Her husband built the two cottages on the property and her love of them shines through in all she does. We felt so at ease there - waking up each morning and having coffee and breakfast on the deck, just the two of us. We didn’t feel rushed or “on a schedule”. Having a grill, oven and full kitchen meant we could eat in on those nights we weren’t dining at restaurants. Visits to Hull Beach and Neltejberg Beach were amazing. The northwest side of the island is so beautiful and quiet. We also enjoyed trips to Red Hook, Charlotte Amalie and other beaches, but it was always good to come “home”.

Hi, my name is Sherri and I am the property manager for both Stone Cottage and Rockworks since 1999. I'm happy to announce that I am the manager for our owner, John Feola, who is dedicated to keeping the villas and property in tip top shape. We have been in business for 23 years now and never had an unhappy guest. Both owner and myself live here in St Thomas and are available for all of your needs 24/7. I hope that I can be of service to you.

Why they chose this property

Stone Cottage is truly a get away from it all. Located in a tropical lush setting where houses are not on top of each other, our little St. John, so to speak. If you have 4wd, you can drive to a secret beach that many have never seen, it is very secluded and surely has no amenities. One of our favorite spots for sure! If you don't have 4wd, you can hike over to this beach from the rocky Dorothea beach below us, but be sure to take water and snacks. One guest calls Stone Cottage her tree-house as you are surrounded with foliage and an awesome view of Inner and Outer Brass Islands. There is peace and tranquility here!

What makes this property unique

Depending on the time of year, you may even get to sample Mangoes, coconuts, bananas, plantain, passion fruit, lemons and limes, and even avocado, but I cannot guarantee that they will always be available. We always share with our guests if they are! :)
Another benefit is that we, ourselves are available for any needs or issues you may have. We are hands on, but only if you want us to be!
