Within 5 miles of Ralph Dean Recreation Park, Luray Caverns, Luray Zoo, Cooters Dukes of Hazard Museum. If you like golfing, visit the Luray Caverns Country Club. Enjoy the nearby hiking and biking trails in the George Washington Forest, Skyline Drive or The Appalachian Trail. Go for a horseback ride at Jordan Hollow Stables or Fort Valley Stables (30 minutes away). 50th Birthday Adventure

I picked this property for my Husbands 50th cause of the proximity to the river. It has been the BEST choice we have ever made in Luray. Paula has EVERYTHING one needs for a getaway. Clean, clean, clean. Seriously, all one needs to bring are clothes and food. Even a welcome bag of ice in the freezer. Can not say enough kind words for how the cabin is. We will for sure back. 👍

Great place to relax and fish

Great little cabin. Very well kept and exactly as described. My buddy and I used it as home base for our annual South Fork Shenandoah River fishing trip. It was perfect! Caught 20 smallmouth bass afternoon in front of house. It had all the amenities that we needed and then some. Check in was easy, owner was very helpful. Will be back for sure!

Always a Great Place to Stay

We’ve been staying at Paula’s home for a long time now. We come here every summer to fish and relax. Her home has everything we need. The bathroom and kitchen is stocked of everything you might need. The bedroom is nice and comfy. The location is close to Luray Caverns. Just an all around nice place to stay.

Family retreat

We brought our kids and dogs with us this time which made making the plans easier. Everyone who came enjoyed themselves and was able to participate in different activities at the cabin and at local spots. We will be back.

Perfect getaway spot!

We loved this spot and our host was very easy to communicate with. Exactly as advertised and way more. This property is located right on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River and fully equipped. Perfect for fishing (bring waders) and canoeing. The cottage is in perfect condition, and has a full kitchen, all new appliances and everything you could need to cook meals. Peace & quiet on the river

My daughter and I were there for a wedding and what a beautiful part of Virginia! The place was very clean and beds very comfortable. Well stocked and great communication with owner. My only issue was working the TV and lack of directions but we finally figured it out! The dirt road is long and bumpy (one steep part) but out Hyundai Elantra made it just fine.
