We stayed here for two weeks and had a great time. It was a great location and a lovely view of the pond from the front porch. Our dog loved the street for walks and the neighbors are all friendly!
Lovely family stay. Easy to get around and very comfortable. Check-in super easy and no stress. Really enjoyed it. Would only request a few extras to make it perfect - some beach chairs and a few more beach towels - but these are little details (although they can make a big difference). Thanks for wonderful stay
The house is adorable, and was very clean upon arrival. Master bedroom is super small, but if you utilize the drawers and closet you should be able to fit most of your belongings. Laundry is in the basement that can only be accessed through bulkhead outside. Michael, the owner, was very kind and responsive. The best part of the house is the front porch. We had coffee looking at the water, every morning. The street is a dead end, but still a fair amount of traffic. Overall, it’s a great location in Falmouth. Downtown and beaches are not far at all.
We decided to bring Finn with us on our every other year pilgrimage to the Cape this year. After a lot of searching for places to stay that would allow a dog over 30 pounds we were lucky enough to find this gem. It’s centrally located between Falmouth and Mashpee in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and well kept and stocked. The neighbors next door are also very friendly and have a lab of their own named Radar. Everything you need
for a fun filled people and puppy adventure!
Property was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, coffee maker and small dishwasher. We enjoyed a nice, quiet, late summer vacation. Beaches just 5 minutes away!
The house was super clean and smelled great when we arrived. The yard was great, especially for our dog who loved "playing with the wild rabbits" LOL. The kitchen and living area (open floor plan) were great so that me, my husband and our teen boys could all hang out together, with Rocky too, our dog. The main bedroom is a bit small however, for a short stay and if you unpack and put your clothes and suitcase away, it works just fine! :) We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the well stocked kitchen, beach towels, and fast and helpful replies from the host.
We've been using VRBO to find vacation spots for about 5 years, this place is the cleanest we have been to by far. We had a question upon check-in and sent Michael a message (and noticed that he had already messaged me to say the house was ready for early check in) and he responded right away.
The house is spotless, kitchen seems to be stocked like a year-round kitchen and the house actually has 3 AC units (that blast COLD - a large one in the family room and smaller units in both bedrooms), I think the description only lists 2.
Location is pretty good 5-10 minutes from downtown Falmouth, 15 from Woods Hole. It's not beach front and does not claim to be, that said there is a nice water view from the front porch. It's a nice quiet street, safe for taking a walk or letting kids ride bikes.
Would totally book this again.
We had rented the property several years ago, and it was just as we had remembered. It has everything you need, and it was clean upon arrival. The water at the private beach was the perfect temperature!
My family of three and our dog had a beautiful time at this home in Falmouth. The home was beautiful and had AC, which was great because our week had Temps I high 80's and low 90's. Close to restaurants and beaches. Well worth it! Property owner responsive to any questions asked.
This cottage was perfect for our 2 week stay on the Cape. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet, great for long walks and runs. The house is also a short drive from the nearby beaches and downtown Falmouth. Hope to return soon!
This house has one of the best stocked/prepared kitchens I’ve found in a rental house. The rest of the house is clean and comfortable. And the host is responsive and helpful. A great place to stay.
Our stay was perfect! House was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels and paper products. The neighborhood was great for walking our dog and there was plenty of outdoor space and chairs to enjoy the front and backyard. We hope to return in the future.
House was big as advertised, but not clean, most of dishes were greasy, we have to wash it before using, beds didn't have sheets on it, owner was buying from store at our arrival and it wasn't wash when we cover bed. Closets were full with some kind of sheets in a way like somebody just washed it and throw in the the cornet of closet so we kept our cloths in our luggage, outside in the backyard was dirty useless BBQ. If we have option we would send you a pictures of all what I am writing here. We were trying to contact our host several times, but except on our first day he didn't answer our calls or texts. We will strongly not recommend this option for any of our friends.
The description and pictures matched the home.
Everything you need is there. Our favorite spot was the front porch where we took the time to read a book or watch the water.
Michael was easy to reach if we had any concerns and we only had one minor one.
The only thing we would suggest would be to upgrade the mattress in the second bedrooms bottom bed.
It was a great vacation and a lovely home.
Great little home. Very clean and comfortable. I think it should be noted that there is no actual dining table but an extension of the counter with bar stools. Fine for us but maybe not with older people.
This is a beautiful home with a great open floor plan. It’s a one level home that worked perfectly for my son who is in a wheelchair. We brought our own ramp and it was able to setup nicely and he had plenty of space to move around.
We had an amazing time. The house and location was perfect and we would not hesitate to return or suggest this location to anyone else looking to stay in Falmouth.
This is a great little property that feels like home away from home. The living area is open and spacious. The kitchen has updated appliances, which has been hard to find on the cape in the past. It is a great location, close enough to things, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood to really relax. Mike was wonderful to work with and very flexible. We will certainly consider staying here again in the future.
The property was exactly as advertised. Super clean upon arrival and an excellent location close to everything we wanted to see and do. The owner was easy to deal with and always "contactable" (though we did not have any problems). All in all this house and location made for a very good enjoyable vacation on Cape, with a tornado warning thrown in just for more fun. Thank you.
Thank you for making our anniversary vacation dreams a reality. We were offered an early check in and found the house clean and cool. The A/Cs worked perfectly in the scorching heat. The house is well appointed, with just about every comfort of home.
The location can’t be beat. Far enough off the beaten path, close enough to feel connected to the real world.
The owner is friendly and easy to reach. Everything about this place is just so relaxed and simple. Giving you ample opportunity to unwind and reconnect with yourself and loved ones.
Old Silver Beach with a shore dinner at the Sea Crest Hotel was our fave. Though it’s hard to rank the many beautiful beaches or delicious local eateries.
Bonus-our two small dogs loved the trip too! Falmouth Dog Park is a great place for pups to let out some energy since many of the beaches are off limits during peak season.
Thank you again for sharing your gem of a home!
