Ideal

Dimensions du Gîte idéale pour 12 personnes, de grands espaces. Il faudrait peut etre au moins un second jeu de clefs car tout le monde ne bouge pas forcément en même temps. Un rideau de douche serait bien au niveau de la baignoire.Ainsi qu'un éclairage exterieur tout le long de l'entrée. Précisez à quel montant est facturé le kw/h. Sinon bonne literie, sanitaires propres et spacieux. Très bel espace de vie. Le canapé d'angle est un peu fatigué. Précisez qu'il n'y a pas de tv . Mais je garde l'adresse, tout le monde s'y s'est senti bien.

Lovely Normandy

The property has everything we might have wanted. The local supermarket is just a couple of minutes walk, as are three bakers, restaurants and takeaways. Despite this, La Charretterie has the feeling of being out in the countryside, with great views of field and trees out to the front. Offranville is a lovely small town, and the local beaches are splendid (at low tide anyway). Pourville is a delightful small family resort.

Heel goed gelegen om de stranden te bezoeken en Dieppe en Etretat zijn de moeite waard. Het huis is heel goed ingericht, de kamers zijn mooi en de badkamers proper. De bakker is een aanrader. Een klein minpunt is het afwezigheid van een TV.

Séjour merveilleux

Tout le monde a apprécié ce séjour dans un tel bâtiment historique, plein de charme mais aussi très bien équipé. C'était très convivial de pouvoir prendre les repas en famille autour de la grande table, puis de profiter des fauteuils au salon. Bien chauffé, très lumineux, très bien accueilli par le propriétaire. A refaire!

Lovely house on a lovely location

We really enjoyed our stay at the house in Offranville. We stayed there with my parents, my family and my sister's family. For my parents the bedroom downstairs was ideal. The house is located at the edge of Offranville and there is a bakery and small supermarket within walking distance. Lots of things to do in the surroundings too, but staying at home in this beautiful house is also nice. Do note that you need to speak French for the check in (I only understood half of it, but luckily my sister is fluent in French, so that helped).

Schöner Aufenthalt

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, der Eigentümer war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns bei technischen Problemen sofort geholfen diese zu beheben, der Kontakt war sehr angenehm. Das Fereinhaus liegt absolut ruhig und hat einen sehr schönen großen Garten. Die Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben, der Strand ist mit dem Auto in 10 min erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

Lovely house. Well equipped. Great garden too. Easy to walk to village to buy food bread etc. good location for driving to beaches and towns to explore. Check out is at 10 but unfortunately the cleaner was hovering and the gardener came and was cutting the grass at 9.30 which spoiled the last morning making it feel rushed when we were ready and left by five to ten. Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben in dem Ferienhaus einen sehr schönen Urlaub mit der Familie verbracht. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und gut telefonisch oder per Mail erreichbar. Für Babys gibt es drei Betten, zwei davon sind allerdings nur für kleine Babys geeignet, die sich noch nicht aufsetzen und hinstellen können (eine Wiege und ein höheres Bettchen mit niedrigem Gitter). Das dritte Babybett ist auch für größere geeignet und steht im Kinderzimmer bei einem Etagenbett und einem Einzelbett mit ausziehbarer zweiter Matratze davor. Dieses Zimmer bietet also Platz für 5 Kinder. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Splendid property combining historical property with modern amenities. Spacious rooms with lots of light, particularly ground floor. Good-sized rear garden and open views at front. Local supermarket and other shops within a few minutes walk with a car-free path (ex-railway) nearby for cycling/walking to a beach or inland. 3 lovely beaches within a few minutes drive and Dieppe just a little further with great restaurants, long flat seafront and a big market on Saturdays. Host speaks excellent English and is very helpful. Highly recommended.

A perfect family holiday home

We had a wonderful week at La Charretterie. It is such an amazing house with a great garden. It has a very rustic feel to it which we loved. There is everything you need for cooking although the kitchen workspace is a little small especially given the number of guests staying. The house was very clean but not palatial and not fussy which is good when holidaying with children. Its proximity to the supermarket and the boulangerie is ideal and only a ten minute walk. It is also a quick car ride to Dieppe and the nearest sandy beach. It is important that you check the tide times though. The nearby countryside is stunning and makes for a perfect family holiday.

Lovely property in a great location

Found the rustic property to be perfect for a group of 8 friends. Great under floor heating, a lovely large dining table used several times a day. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. (some a little worn) but enough of everything we didn’t have to constantly wash up. Lots of space at the property, I can imagine it would be even better in the summer. BBQ was missing, but after messaging the owner, he arranged for us to go and collect one from a nearby property of theirs. Loved the location, watching the sunrise across the field out the front, watching the red squirrel and woodpecker in the back garden. Easy walk into town. Didn’t like having to make own beds up upon arrival and having to constantly re log onto the WiFi . I would however recommend the property and stay again if I was visiting the same region. It would make a great stay for a family holiday.

Schönes Haus mit federleichten Mängeln

Es war sehr schön. Das Haus ist rustikal, hell und freundlich, mit bequemen Betten, ausreichend Geschirr und Küchenutensilien. Alles funktionierte und wir haben ganz schön was weggekocht. O. k., der Küchenkram war ganz schön abgerockt, aber wie gesagt, bis auf scharfe Messer alles da (aber dass ist in den meisten Häusern ja nicht anders. Wir haben immer eigene dabei). Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass auf den Betten der Doppelzimmern jeweils große, also doppelte Bettdecken lagen. Das war doof, weil wir nur „normale“ Bettbezüge dabei hatten. Sollte man in der Beschreibung für das Haus erwähnen. Egal, hat alles irgendwie geklappt und von uns aus auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung, vor allem mit vielen Menschen. Das Haus gibt es her.
