- The Americana at Brand, shops, restaurants and entertainment (walking distance, cross the Glendale Galleria thru JC Penny) Also at the Glendale Galleria you’ll find a Super Target, very handy in case you run out of basic essentials during your stay.
- Glendale Center Theatre, small live theatre. Check out what they’re showing (could walk)
- Olvera Street. A historic monument in the oldest part of Los Angeles (Downtown LA. Souvenir shops, Mexican food restaurants)
- Griffith Park is a short drive away, it’s great for a nice picnic, walk, hike, bike ride, pony / train ride for kids. The LA Zoo and the Observatory / Planetarium is also at Griffith Park, as well as the Autry museum.

Great location for families!

We had a great time here! Please note that they really mean it when they say the parking garage is tight :) Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! The location was fantastic!

Great location for zoo, tar pits, universal studios

I highly recommend this property, particularly if you want to go to Universal, or the Tar Pits, and the Zoo or if you want to do some shopping. The Galleria is really nice and is really easy to walk to. The apartment fit 5 people comfortably. It is also very quiet and clean.

Birthday Celebration

The location ideal....we had an oversized vehicle but parking was not an issue.. The house was clean with adequate spacing for our group, however the bedroom mattresses needs to be changed. I will stay at this location again.

Great stay!

King Bed a little stiff, but that is an opinion. Others obviously like a bed that way. Location is awesome, walking distance to great dining and short drive to attractions. Thanks Bertha for a great stay!

LA Wedding Celebration

Bertha's condos were perfect for our needs. We had a large family group in town for a wedding celebration, so we needed accommodations for 14 adults and a toddler. I needed the condos to be in close proximity of one another so this set up was perfect. Bertha was great to work with. The condos were clean and comfortable. Very close to Super Target, a mall and the Americana. Great restaurants--all within walking distance. Our toddler LOVED the park next door. Fire station across the street made everything feel very safe, but we didn't hear sirens at night. We would definitely stay there again--highly recommend!

Beautiful townhome in Glendale

Pros: - great location close to Universal - very nice and responsive owner - fair pricing - we wanted an extra night and the owner was very accommodating - townhome was big enough for 4 adults and 4 kids Cons: - carpets probably should be steam cleaned, they were a bit dirty.

Comfy condo

This was a great location and comfortable property. There were many provided amenities and the owner was quick to reaspond with any questions. The only minor downside was that the carpet on the stairs was pretty dirty so had to keep shoes on. But would stay again!

June 2029 Stay

My siblings and I were very happy with this property. It was clean and had everything you would need. One outstanding feature was its location - walking distance to shopping (the Galleria and Americana), especially the Target which was literally down the street - very easy to get all the supplies we needed. We also picked this location as it was close to where my brother and his family reside. While the condo came with one parking spot in the garage, we hardly used it as there was sufficient street parking. I would stay there again.

LA Area Vacation June 2019

Our family (2 adults/2 teens) stayed here for a week of vacation. We chose it as a home base to tour the area and the location was perfect. We were close to Warner Bros. Studio, Griffith Park, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. We also ventured out to Disneyland, Joshua Tree National Park, Malibu, and Santa Monica as day trips. It was a bonus to be right across the street from the Galleria mall and Americana. We walked here for dinner and shopping a couple times after long driving days when we didn't feel like getting back in the car. The apartment itself had everything we needed and it was a pleasant surprise to find so many basic supplies that we didn't have to purchase (dish soap, coffee filters, paper towels, salt/pepper etc.). Bertha was readily available though we didn't need anything or have any problems. The place was definitely clean, I only put 4 stars on that because the carpets are due for a shampoo. It was nice to have a private parking space inside the complex. Garage is tight but we did fine with a Jeep Cherokee we rented. I would recommend this VRBO for anyone from couples to families (there are stairs to get to the apartment as well as inside so keep that in mind if that happens to be an issue). The park next door is great if you have little ones. Overall a great experience and we would rent the same place if we come back to the area.

Great Space & Amenities! Easy to get on Hwy

Thank you Bertha for such a fantastic stay. Our two families had more than enough room and were very comfortable ...spacious living room couches, dining table and kitchen. Washer and Dryer worked very well. Extra comfy blankets for all. Enjoyed being within walking distance of so many awesome restaurants and shops. Target was a short walk away. Ate at Granville, Raffi’s and had Chinese delivery . All good!!! ...Enjoyed Sprinkles ATM too. Being so close to the FireHouse did not bother us one bit. There are stairs to climb to get into unit. First floor bedroom is next to full bathroom w tub and shower combo. Parking space best if backed into for easy exit. Plenty of room around car for getting in/out. Comfortable stay in a well organized and clean townhouse. Happy New Year!

Very nice 3 bedroom apartment.

Perfect layout of the apartment in a safe area walkable to Glendale Galleria and Americana. Has one garage spot included. In hindsight I would have paid for an extra spot as street parking is difficult to find at nights. Only one small issue was older hairdryer with low power as mentioned by the ladies.

Nice Property

Overall super nice property, well stocked, clean and good location. Good communication from the owner. There were some condo rules (temperature thresholds on the thermostat and asking people not to go on the balcony) that were a bit strict in my opinion. I haven't seen those before at rentals.

My husband Mike and I are hard working, now semi retired, we spend most of the year in Puerto Vallarta and other parts of the year in this apartment in Glendale, we enjoy very much. Since we're away so much we decided to rent it out, why let it just sit empty. Our daughter lives in Newport Beach with her husband and two gorgeous sons, so we have very good reason to keep coming to the CA area. Hope you enjoy this unit as much as we do.
