It was such a fun experience! We loved exploring the property, meeting the resident animals and visiting with the owner. We arrived when it was dark- the entrance was majestic and our six year old couldn't wait to get up in the morning to see the surroundings.
Such a great place to unwind and unplug. Everything was very quaint and relaxing. Really enjoyed ourselves to where we will probably book again for spring.
The property is beautiful and felt remote enough for what we were looking for. Wi-Fi and cell service worked but not good enough to get sucked into social media. Unplugging without fear is totally possible. We’d book again!
Have a great time check out granddaughter. She had a good time with the host dog. The dog stayed with us the whole weekend. The lighting duo of the tim acres looked pretty definitely we'll go again
We found the property relaxing and inviting. The cabin we rented was Whitetail and it was more than what we expected it was cozy and we felt at home away from home. The dogs were a lovely welcome and the goats were good sports too. Absolutely want to go back in the fall and see the color change.
Each time we come here, we always have a fabulous time. It is always one of the memories that we cherish most, and we are excited to be able to continue to come and stay at these cabins and tree houses. Bob is an excellent host and has so much character not only in the treehouses and cabins themselves that you stay in, but also the property. If you were looking at a space to unplug, recharge and just get away from the world, this is your place! Highly recommend!
Looking for luxury camping this is the place air conditioned, fridge, coffe pot hot shower and all the plug-ins you could possibly need Bob was very friendly and helpful once you got ahold of him so don’t leave a voicemail he doesn’t get them but responds to text immediately. And FYI if your taking motorcycles don’t come in on 900 there are other routes Would definitely come back
I brought my two daughters (ages 7 and 10) for a weekend trip over spring break. My 10yr old is not an outdoorsy kinda girl, so I wasn’t sure how she would like it. She didn’t want to go exploring with my younger daughter and I - but luckily we were able to have some adventures right outside our door! We walked around quite a bit of the property, explored the creek, said “hi” to the goats - and we were always within sight of our rental (Whitetail). The highlight of our trip was probably the owners black lab, Paris! She visited us many times and even stayed the night one night. For my non-outdoorsy daughter, she was able to connect to wifi to play her games, watched movies, and had a blast playing with her Barbies inside the cabin. She appreciated the experience in a different way.
My younger daughter and I will absolutely be back and will probably stay at a different cabin next time.
The outdoor shower was a cool experience! The water was definitely warm enough - but plan for a quick shower as it didn’t last more than a few minutes before starting to get cold.
Keep in mind that you’re staying in the woods and might see the occasional ant, fly, etc. inside the cabin. This didn’t bother us, but we made sure to clean up crumbs and not leave food out, etc.
Overall, I have zero complaints about our stay!!
