Large chalet luxuriously furnished located at the Coosawattee River resort in the Georgia Mountains with incomparable mountain and lake views. Surrounded by two acres of trees and sitting on the top of a mountain, the chalet offers complete comfort, privacy, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Guests can enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, rafting and tubing down the Coosawattee or Cartecay Rivers.
The city of Ellijay with its charming shops and wonderful restaurants is easily reached by car in less than 15 minutes drive. Blue Ridge offers additional shopping and high-scale dining options and is about 25 minutes drive.

Mountain getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the chalet. We did have some hiccups with check in but Dallas and Suzel were quick to fix it. We enjoyed the resort area, especially the river, fishing pond and all the deer.

Apple Festival Memories
The property was great. The driveway was a little tight, but that’s not a big deal with us. The house was super, the beds were comfortable, and the water was hot, and it was very convenient to the apple festival. We haven’t been up there since my parents passed away so it was especially Memorable. Contact with the host was a little troublesome in the beginning, but that was soon remedied and everything turned out great.

Sisters vacation
My sisters and I had a nice relaxing week. The house was comfortable and equipped with everything that we needed. Having access to the two pools was great since we had such good weather. The owners were quick to respond to our questions leading up to our trip. If we plan another vacation to this area I would love to stay here again and I would certainly recommend this house to my friends!

The chalet was perfect for our family. We had a great time exploring the cute mountain towns in GA, but our favorite memories were hiking around the chalet and playing games and making memories around the fireplace.

Christmas Chalet
We have a wonderful time staying at this impressive and large chalet. It sits up directly above the water which was nice with amazing panoramic windows. With deer everywhere and Ellijay right down the road; we will definitely stay at this property again in the near future.

Beautiful Fall Views
We spent the month of October at the Summit Chalet. It was a wonderful month. Suzel was easy to work with and answered any question we had quickly. The chalet is very cozy, with two fireplaces. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay in the mountains. Very quiet and private area and the house was exactly as listed. Location was convenient to downtown Ellijay and a short drive to Blue Ridge. We didn’t cook meals, but the kitchen was adequately stocked. One tv on main level of house in the master bedroom, and a second tv basement level of house in small den with seating for 2-3 adults. Overall, a great house, and I would recommend..

Summit Chalet
House was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have used a set of steak knives and sharper carving knives. Most disappointing was that there wasn't a television in the family room on the main floor, so we either had to go down to the basement level or the master bedroom to watch TV. The televisions were old and need to be upgraded as well.

Great property. The house was very comfortable and everything in good working order. Well cared for and nicely decorated. For any who have not stayed in a community like this be prepared for small roads including some gravel roads leading to the properties.

The owners were extremely accommodating, and so nice. The property was well appointed, clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook some wonderful meals. We had such a wonderful time!

Amazing lot with views. Roomy house with many updates. With a better equipped kitchen and some sprucing up here and there we'd up it to a 5-star rating. Host was responsive and easy to communicate with.

Girls Trip
Overall, property is beautiful. It is extremely spacious with amazing views. Being in the resort, it felt very safe. The parking is a little tricky, especially if you are not used to such steep slopes. I wish the place had been a little bit cleaner(dusty, some of the towels had clearly not been washed). However, overall we enjoyed our experience. The hosts were very willing to assist with any issues which is always nice as well.

House was beautiful, clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed the stay. The owner are awesome, replied to our questions quickly. Our only suggestion would be a tv in every room, bc at night everyone wanted to watch something different. Other than that it was great!

I live in Atlanta with my husband and we bought this house to enjoy time with our daughters, in-laws and grandchildren. I grew up in Brazil and moved to the USA many years ago after marrying an American. Georgia is my home and I absolutely love the mountains, outdoor activities and spending time with my family.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of its location and size. Our primary goal was to have a place to be with family and have plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy with them. The house offers the privacy we were looking for, the views that we 'required' -- mountain and lake views and size to accomodate the family most times.

What makes this property unique

The views of the place are amazing. We can either enjoy our dinners outside looking at stunning mountain and lake views, or we can go to a gourmet restaurant at no more than six miles distance. All seasons offer different views and beauty and it is just 70 miles from Atlanta, which allows us to go for weekends without spending long hours in the car.
