BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!

NOTE: THERE IS NO SMOKING IN THE CABIN! THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED!
Peaceful, river cabin just minutes to the beach. Enjoy the restful ambiance of this well decorated 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bath cabin on Bon Secour River. You can relax while viewing the river on the extended deck. Canoe up the river and return to a simpler life of floating and cruising under the live oaks in the provided canoe. Community pool just steps away and an on premise boat ramp, so bring your boat. You can fish for dinner right from your deck, clean your catch in the outside sink/cleaning station then cook your dinner on the charcoal grill. Just a few minutes to Gulf Shores Parkway with all the activities ( go carts, putt putt, water park and amusement park, etc.) and restaurants. Shopping galore…close to Tanger Outlet and the shops of Pelican place. Orange Beach is tops for deep sea and inshore fishing with para sail and dolphin cruses too. You can leave the crowds behind and return to paradise on the river with turtles, dolphins, cranes, herons, pelicans, seagulls, ducks, and abundant wildlife to view. Enjoy the best of all worlds here on the Alabama Gulf coast. Peaceful quite family atmosphere but, just minutes away are a Water park, putt putt, go carts tracks and an amusement park. The beach is only a few minutes’ drive with the Hang Out available to eat and play. The world famous bar Florabama is just a short drive to get your groove on and party the night away. There are fabulous shopping, restaurants and a movie theater at the Wharf with a huge Farris wheel for amazing views. Check out the concert schedule at the amphitheater for great music events. Festivals abound in this area. It seems there is always a festival going on here or close by i.e. Hangout music fest, Shrimp fest, strawberry festival, sausage festival and the Hot air balloon festival (always on Father’s Day) just to name a few. Mardi Gras is a month long event here in the Mobile area (only 50 minute drive) with parades almost every day and even here on the river is a boat parade floating right by our complex.
We have a newly built fish and farmers market in Foley on Friday and Saturdays but you can always get great fresh produce at Braxton’s in Robertsdale. We are right in the middle of the harbors for our shrimp boat fleet so very close by your will find the freshest shrimp and seafood right off the boats….visit Aquilla, Bon Secour Fisheries, Billy's, Joe the Shrimp Man, or Safe Harbor. Dollar General is right up the street and we have great grocery stores Publix and Winn Dixie with a brand new Rouse’s in Gulf Shores.
If it should dare rain we have a movie theater close by and a bowling alley in Foley also.
You would be hard pressed to eat at all the restaurants we have in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Right next to the cabin is The Galley Restaurant for the best burgers and pizza's you've ever had. Close by and not on the beaten path is the Tin Top restaurant with a quaint outside oyster bar and with music seasonally. Some personal favorites include Island Wings and Cactus Cantina just south on highway 59. Also don’t forget to get to Jesse’s in Magnolia Springs – winner of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association Gulf Coast Fiery Four steak contest. King Neptune’s has been featured in Coastal Living as one of our favorite seafood dives.
Schedule your deep sea or inshore fishing trips in Orange Beach or dolphin cruise, parasail trips, zip line and helicopter rides too.
Naval Air Station Pensacola, home of the world famous Blue Angels, is about a 30 minute drive so if you're lucky enough to be in the area during one of their shows, you don’t want to miss it. Blues on the Beach is usually the second weekend of July and the Blues Homecoming is in November. It is absolutely thrilling! Also, make time to visit the Naval Aviation Museum located on NAS Pensacola. A must see for aviation enthusiasts! Please check with NAS Pensacola Public Affairs to ensure security measures are not in effect for civilian guests.
All that and more are available to you but the best part is you have all the peace and relaxing you can handle here on the river to come back to. Bon Secour river is brackish so perfect for speckled trout and redfish. You can always cast net for mullet if you choose. We have crab, turtles, and more varieties of birds than you can count. The boat ramp is just steps from your door or the community pool is only a short stroll in the other direction. So much to do or you can do nothing at all and watch the tide come in and go out while the sun sets on your perfect vacation.
