About this property

Yosemite Vista

The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room that has a wood-burning stove fireplace, TV/DVD and Satellite. On the same ground level are 2 bedrooms, with a queen bed in each, a bathroom and a laundry room. The double sliding doors in the front open to the deck which holds your own private four adult capacity hot tub. On the upper level there is one large bedroom with one queen bed and one full size bed, and a bathroom with a stall shower. There is no WiFi at this property however it is adjacent to the Scenic Wonders business center, please note that satellite WiFi in the area is unreliable for video streaming and video calling and in a business setting will only be good for email and other light web based communication.

This cabin is easily accessible with only two steps to the front door.
It is pet-friendly with a pet fee of $50 per pet, per day. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, nor bedding, nor left unattended.

There are 3 parking spots all year, sometimes 2 over winter months.

Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, the cable isn't available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite-based Internet system and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

Spacious, great atmosphere

Perfect location inside Yosemite, plenty of space for our group, all the amenities we could want in a classic mountain cabin vibe. Easy to find and get it, clear communication, would come again. Best of all, our baby monitor reached to the hot tub

Beautiful cabin, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful and the location couldn’t have been more perfect, especially with young kids. It was a quick drive to Yosemite valley and the location allowed us to make multiple day trips there. We would definitely recommend and stay here again :)

Beautiful cabin….terrible property management

Lovely little cabin in a great location with quaint homey decor. All our disappoint stems from the poor management…We were never sent property access information and struggled to reach them because there was no WiFi once we neared Yosemite (including at the cabin) We were forced to backtrack many miles down the mountain to use the WiFi at a gas station.Upon arrival we tracked snow in on the kitchen floor, I used paper towels to dry up the puddles and was shocked by how filthy the floor was. Along with the kitchen floor needing bleach and a scrub brush the bathrooms corners/ baseboards also need some cleaning. A decorative pillow on our bed had something white and crusty on it, not comforting!Honestly, the rest of the cabin appeared clean.

Great Location - upkeep terrible

This property is very convenient to Yosemite and in a very nice area. The property is in need of better upkeep. In the downstairs bath there was no toilet paper holder and the medicine cabinet door would not stay shut making it very hard to use the mirror. There were several light bulbs out, one light in the bedroom didn't even work. When we got there the first day, our queen bed had double sheets that kept coming off. I had to scramble around in a cupboard that was just piled with sheets to find queen size sheets. It was quite shabby over all except for the living room. I would expect a lot more for the amount of money I paid including a bigger bathroom. Extremely disappointed in the property.

Great stay close to Badger Pass

My family greatly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We took advantage of the hot tub and wood burning fireplace. We sledded in the canyon down the street and enjoyed skiing at Badger Pass. The leather chairs were very comfy coupled with high ceiling and live-edge dining table gave the cabin a luxurious feel. We would stay again but this cabin is a little out of our typical price range.

Great location! Great property!

Easy check in, great communication with the property managers. Everything as listed, nice location close to the Valley, Badger Pass. Plenty of sheets, towels, blankets. We had 4 children ages 1-11, two families; worked perfectly. Warm in the winter. There’s no internet FYI, which is listed.

Nice location, great house, nowhere to sit!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Yosemite West is about 15 minutes from the Tunnel which leads to the most awesome view of Yosemite Valley & Bridal Veil Falls, and it was fun to hike the granite boulders just before the tunnel for awesome views of another waterfall whose name escapes me. Bridal Veil Falls is on the way to Yosemite Valley from there, and it's a quick stop and walk to the misty falls alongside a beautiful creek. This is a shady place for a snack or lunch, and just minutes away you find yourself driving alongside the beautiful Merced River and in front of El Capitan. The elevation of the home is higher than the valley floor, so be prepared for snow in winter and spring, and carry chains. The home is equipped for sleeping with 2 bedrooms downstairs, both with queen beds plus a sofa sleeper in the living room and a full bath downstairs. The wood burning stove HEATS the house, almost too much! Upstairs there is another bathroom and bedroom with both queen and double beds, good sized room. There is a loft that is big enough for sleeping bags for 4 kids if need be. The down side: There is nowhere to sit. There are plenty of places to sleep for everyone, but in the evening after long hikes and a warm dinner, there is one sofa and one chair. People cannot hang out together because they either have to sit on the floor or in hard wooden dining chairs. SUGGESTION: Put the sofa sleeper in the loft and get a sectional that will accommodate more people. Bring the loft chairs downstairs as well. Our only complaint was nowhere to sit in the living space. The cabin is basic, nothing fancy, but it's clean, has towels and washer/dryer, and plenty of stations on dish to veg out after long days of hiking...not to mention the very clean and hot hot tub! We enjoyed our stay very much!
