We take pride in the large Sunflower field we plant each spring for summer picking and photography, a local favorite. We are located 1 mile from Torch Lake & Downtown Alden. Amazing stay

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.Very close to all the winter attractions and shops.Will totally recommend this to everyone and would love to try it in the summer time as well

Lovely home!

The craftsmanship of this home was beautiful! Loved the flooring, the lighting and the woodwork/trim on the interiors was so well done! Its location to Torch Lake and downtown Alden as well as downtown Elk Rapids. Would absolutely stay here again! :)

Gorgeous and clean close to the Lake

We had a wonderful time in this home. It was clean and well stocked with everything you need for a family vacation from kitchen essentials to outdoor games to indoor activities for the kids. The legos were a big hit as well as many games of monopoly! Plenty of towels and blankets. Wonderful stay!

Had a great stay on our guy golf trip. Close to multiple courses, nicely updated decor, clean, had everything we needed. Stayed in Sept and was comfortable with windows open and fans on (no A/C in unit)

Great getaway close to Torch Lake!

We had an amazing stay at this nice and clean farmhouse. Torch Lake was about a mile away so we were able to find the lake with ease. The house itself was very clean and up kept. Would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

The farmhouse was absolutely stunning. We had ample space for cooking, sleeping, and hanging out. The property is beautiful and the well maintained. We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful vacation rental

We were so impressed by the farmhouse rental and the coziness/comfort/cleanliness of the (very well maintained) home. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for our family of 5. Only thing to note was the lack of A/C, but there was a fan in every bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in the sunroom and campfire nights in the yard, and the owners were very responsive to our questions along the way. Highly recommended!

Charming Farmhouse

Needed a place to stay as we visited family nearby. The Farmhouse is the nicest place we've stayed in the 4 yrs of visiting the area. Everything appears almost new and very well stocked with disposable goods, kitchen items, etc. Had one minor issue and the owner was there in two minutes, as they live next door! Many of the area activities are within 20-25 mins. Will try to stay here again.

Loved The Farmhouse

All the comforts of home at this charming Farmhouse. Loved the kitchen island and spending time with family here. Slept well in the comfortable bed on the main floor. Also appreciated having three bathrooms (2 full, 1 half)! Conveniently located only 1 mile from Alden.

Country Getaway

We absolutely loved this farmhouse for our base of operations for our week in Traverse City and the surrounding areas. Lovely trails groomed into the property, and many chances to view the local wildlife. Located super close to Torch Lake and all the exciting activities there. Short drive to Traverse City and surrounding areas to see the wonderful sights Michigan has to offer. The property was clean, beautifully renovated and quiet. We stayed cool and comfortable with all the lovely windows and fans even without AC. Host was very easy to contact and super responsive. A+ vacation rental, would highly recommend!

I felt unwelcome

I felt unwelcome on check-in. The hosts were accusatory and somewhat off-putting in their communications. They were suspicious of the clearly fictitious name VRBO added from Google, I didn't even add this name as it was scraped from Google. That's fine, I emailed them late at night when I landed but I'm no scammer. They demanded a list of names of people who will be staying and made us meet them to checkin even though the door had a code and no key is necessary. I had to plan my family reunion around meeting them and they would not accept a 2 hour window. I understand northern Michigan is different from city life but I've never had to give a list of names like I'm checking into prison. They added unnecessary stress to my family reunion at the end of the day. I've used the other big bnb website and VRBO for years, never any issue or unwelcoming hosts before this. The house is fine, it's a decent Northern Michigan property that met my expectations. It's not bad. They maintained the property well and the house was cozy and decorated well. I didn't spend much time there but the beds were fine. Overall the hosts would get a 2 out of 5 stars. The property would get 5 stars for meeting my expectations.

Lovely

Property was lovely and clean. The house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers to spread out and be comfortable. No air conditioning, but definitely did not need it. The owners obviously care about their property and take great care of the house.

Beautiful property

The owner great and lives next door. She brought us a small appliance to use when requested. The home is clean and beautifully updated. It is close to Alden. He surrounding property is quiet and pretty. We appreciated the paths that were mowed and walked them several times. We saw several deer on our stay. Our only complaint is there is no air conditioning. We knew this ahead of time and brought a couple of fans ourselves. There were also other fans to use there and ceiling fans. One night of our 8 was almost unbearable as it was hot and muggy and none of could get cooled off. Overall, this is a great place. It is convenient to the area’s activities, yet in a quieter, country setting.
