The little house ' Il Frassino ' is completely independent where you can enjoy a particular privacy. All around there is the green of the country; in ancient times it was a cellar of wines. The open spaces in front of the house is a good place for relaxing under the trees listening to the chirping of birds. The house is not far from the little town of Castelbuono and from there you can easily go for excursions in the mountains, discovering natural beauties. There is a bedroom with a T. V. set a living. Room with a kitchen and a divan bed a bathroom. There is a private parking and if you have pets there is a garden for them.

Séjour à Castelbuono
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour , bon accueil et propriétaire à l écoute et de bon conseil. Logement bien équipé. Le seul bémol c'est la situation géographique . Situé dans la montagne à l écart des lieux de visites à notre avis.

Magnifique séjour
Nous avons séjourné à Castelbuono du 12 au 22 juillet. La maison pour 4 personnes était parfaite pour nous avec 2 salles de bain . De plus, la piscine est grande et nous en avons disposé pratiquement seuls une grande partie de notre séjour. Le propriétaire était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour 😁.

Charming house - beautiful location
First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. It has a fabulous pool and the views from the pool terrace (which is an upper level) are sensational, looking out across a gorgeous valley. Vincenzo is super friendly and (I think) lives in an adjacent property. Some people have reported having to share the pool. Not sure if that happens - all I can say is when we were there the pool was entirely ours. If you don't mind having to drive into town (Castelbuono is a lovely little town) and want peace and quiet, this definitely ticks the boxes ps: It could do with a few extra cutlery pieces though :-)

La villa è molto accogliente e permette di trascorrere delle piacevoli giornate godendo di quiete, tranquillità ed un meraviglioso panorama vista parco delle Madonie ed isole Eolie. L'accoglienza e la cordialità del proprietario di casa, il signor Vincenzo, sono la ciliegina sulla torta di questa incantevole location!

Calme et superbe vue
Nous avons passé un bon séjour, la location est propre et conforme à l annonce, quelques manques de rangements dans une des chambres et salle de bain, un plateau, et couteaux à pain et viande, seraient un plus dans la petite cuisine. Le cadre est sublime. Vicenzo, est très disponible et réactif , accueillant et parle bien le français, piscine bien entretenue.

Séjour très agréable
Nous avous passé 2 semaines très agréable sur les hauteurs de Castelbuono. La maison était propre, linge de lit et serviette de toilette fournis. Le descriptif fait par Vincenzo sur le site est conforme à ce que nous avons pu trouver sur place. La piscine est vraiment un plus avec une superbe vue sur les montagnes. Merci Vincenzo pour votre accueil et votre attention pour que le séjour soit réussi !

Il Frassino,è una piccola abitazione circondata dalla natura ,a pochi passi dal parco delle Madonie.L'abitazione e dotata di tutti i confort , pulita ed accogliente.La piscina raggiungibile da una scalinata completa il piacevole soggiorno , molto pulita perche' curata personalmente dal titolare e suo figlio.Vincenzo "il proprietario" accogliente ,cordiale e disponibile a tutte le esigenze rende il soggiorno molto piacevole.......A presto.

Agréable mais prestations non conformes
La vue est effectivement exceptionnelle et le calme assuré. Par contre une grande déception quant à la piscine qui n'est pas du tout privée comme indiquée dans l’annonce mais à partager avec deux autres familles. Idem pour les serviettes de plage qui contrairement à ce qui est dit dans l'annonce ne sont pas fournies. Une fois que l'on sait à quoi s'attendre.... tout va bene.... donc n'hésitez pas à poser des questions précises et à exiger des réponses aussi très précises !!!!

Bellissima !
Vincenzo fait de son mieux pour que tout se passe bien, et c'est le cas... disponibilité, convivialité... tout un programme ! Sur les hauteurs de Castelbuono, la maison est entourée par la végétation, offrant une vue magnifique sur la Madonie, notamment depuis la superbe piscine parfaitement entretenue. La maison est propre et bien équipée, on déjeune facilement dehors sur la terrasse. Castelbuono a beaucoup de charme, c'est un plaisir. A recommander sans réserve.

magnificent !!!
We spend a week in house Frassino with 2 children (4 and 6 years old) and we absolutely loved it. Although the house is not very big, it has all the required necessities. The rooms and 2 bathrooms were bright and cleaned. There is an outside terrace with table, chairs and sofa chairs. The swimming pool is reached by a stair. It was big and very clean. The view from up here was magnificent. Castelbuono and its medieval town is not far from Palermo and many touristic places. The host is very friendly and helpfull. He even gave us some delicious tomatoes from his own garden. I would definitely return.

All you need!
We stayed here for three nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Overall, this place is one of my favourites on Sicily. Located near Castelbuono and the beautiful surroundings of le Madonie, this place is perfect for those who want to enjoy the real Sicily. Nature, culture, sports, gastronomy, etc.. Plenty of things to do and see. (Do make sure you have your own car!) The apartment was perfect for us: everything was clean, the owner made sure everything was impecable. You have your own terrace here, so you surely have your privacy. Upstairs is a swimming pool which you share with a few other guests. Air conditioning is possible, but if you want to use it you have to pay an extra fee. Although we stayed here in the midst of July, we didn't need it: at night it was cool enough to sleep well. Overall, we really liked staying here and we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and all other travelers who like to stay in a green and quiet little paradise rather than in a touristy city.

Sejour à castelbuono
Nous avons passer un très bon séjour à castelbuono, le cadre de la location très agréable, calme, reposant, belle piscine, les enfants se sont bien amusé. Propriétaire accueuillant et à l'écoute. Propriéter tres bien entretenue. Nous le conseillons a toutes personnes voulant du calme et profiter de l'ambiance de la sicile dans le village de castelbuono. A refaire!

location pour 2 adultes et un enfant ,tres calme dans la montagne un peu a l'ecart du village propre, mais ne compter pas faire les courses a pied car pour y aller on descend 2 km jusqu' au centre ville , par contre pour revenir la montee est assez coriace pente a 10 bon courage ..., de plus au niveau vaisselle c'est du camping, il faut tout acheter, pas de four, si vous voulez internet c'est la galere ..., il y a la teleon recoit tv5 monde en francais mais quand il pleut elle ne fonctionne plus .

le calme et la tranquilité
Le propriétaire est vraiment très accueillant mais sa maison situé en dehors de tout ne présente pas le confort attendu pour le tarif demandé. Pour une famille comme nous de 4 avec 2 adolescentes c'était un peu juste, surtout au niveau des équipements de cuisine (casseroles comprises). Il faut prévoir tout, produit vaisselle et torchons, si vous y séjourner. Il n'y a pas de télécommande pour la climatisation et l'aération est difficile a faire car toutes les ouvertures sont du même coté. Mais le calme et la tranquillité et le paysage valent la peine d'y faire un séjour simple, mais à deux seulement. MP
