Spend every day of your vacation on the beautiful crystal clear waters of the Bahamas! During your stay you will have full use of our 18' center console boat .

Your vacation will start when you arrive at the airport and are greeted by our friendly island host who will help get you to our island home and make sure you are situated with everything you need for a fabulous vacation.

You will arrive at our gated private compound and see that it is truly a tropical paradise with several fruit trees bearing fruit. From the front entry porch you will emerge into a beautiful foyer area leading into the family room. The sunlit living room, dining room and master bedroom look onto the covered porch, pool, garden and canal.

Elegantly designed, this home boasts tiled floors with beautiful rugs an open dining room and a casual island dining bar. The spacious master suite overlooks the canal, with a walk in closet and gorgeous spa-like bathroom. There is a sunroom off of the Master with a smart flat screen T.V. and a sleeper sofa. Two additional luxurious guest bedrooms share a beautiful guest bathroom. There is a wall mounted smart flat screen TV with in the 'kids' bedroom.

The kitchen featuring beautiful granite counter tops, state of the art appliances and a breakfast bar ideal for casual dining is a cook's dream.

Have your morning coffee on the covered porch overlooking the gardens, pool and canal. In the evening you can enjoy outdoor dining while you cook your fresh caught fish on the grill!! Just a quick boat ride from the dock you can enjoy all the pleasures of the warm Atlantic or simply walk the white sand beaches.

Great additional features like a two car garage and boat dock make this an ideal island home. The dock has 50 amp service allowing for larger boats to hook up to shore power. The useable dock from the boat lift to the west end is about 60 feet and the water depth of 9' to 16' will also accommodate larger boats or motor yachts.

For fun head to Port Lucaya less than five minutes away for island shopping, a variety of dining, or a 'must have' awesome Pina Colada in a fresh carved coconut at the local bar 'Rum Runners'.

Included in your stay is the use of our 18' center console boat to enjoy snorkeling, fishing and cruising around the aqua blue waters of the Bahamas. You certainly will want to take a sunset cruise!

A home away from home
What a great find. This house was everything my family of 5 needed and more. Way more room than we expected. Didn’t realize there was a sofa bed in the very large master. Plenty of room for two families. Ryan met us at the rental car place and got us all settled in. He was great. Everything was very clean and well kept. Loved the pool. Was in it all day and the went night swimming with all the lights off to see shooting stars. Saw 6! We loved snorkeling in the cove. Saw sea turtles and tarpons. The boat was perfect for zipping out the short inlet and spearing dinner. Caught so much fish we only ate out once. Beautiful little beach next to inlet. Got to enjoy the Thursday night summer parade. But my personal favorite was sitting next to the bay window over looking the water reading and sipping my coffee. Can’t wait to return.

Very Cozy House - w a Boat!
We had a great week with my wife and our 12 year old son. Thank you so much for all of the hospitality. The house was fantastic and we enjoyed each day. All of the restaurants that were recommended were excellent & we all agreed that the best one is right there in the neighborhood, Dolphin Cove. We were really impressed by the food on the island. The boat ran great and we had no issues getting around the island.

Wonderful Place
This was a fantastic stay; great location, super quiet area, house is clean and comfortable, the boat is a wonderful addition and kayaking the canals was beautiful. Grand Bahama is a lovely, friendly island. I've visited a few times now and have always felt safe and welcomed. If you enjoy gorgeous, near empty beaches, caves, kayaking and friendly locals, this place is for you.

A home in paradise
The property was like a home from home for us, we enjoy vacations that let us see the sights at our own pace and this was just what we were looking for We enjoyed using the boat and had some lovely days sailing round to the local beaches Bruce and ryan were both helpful and accommodating It is a very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood but still close enough to bars restaurants etc by car We noted everything seemed to be 6 mins away lol Thank you Bruce for being so helpful and speaking with me personally with some questions i had before our trip I would recommend this villa 100 percent

Family Memories and a BOAT!!
Do not look any further! THIS IS THE PLACE ! we absolutely fell in love with Port Lucaya and the freeport area! The house was incredible! Clean, comfortable and an incredible location! We took full advantage of the boat and got some amazing time snorkeling and exploring! Ryan is incredible and the communication was perfect! We will be back!!!

Beautiful - a little piece of paradise
The property is tucked away at a quiet end of a lane 5 mins from Port Lucaya. Beautiful spot on the canal in a secluded area. Loved watching the fish jump as the sun came up and went down. Used the boat for fishing the waterways and going to spot the turtle who lives in the next canal. Explored with the kayaks too. Everything you need is there for self catering stay and the well stocked supermarket is 8 min drive. Ryan the manager was fantastic, really helpful and communicating with Bruce the owner was a pleasure.

Our stay was wonderful! The book could use some updating. I believe it was because of the time of year we went that many things were closed but not due to Hurricane Dorian. Also, Liquor stores are closed on Sunday's!! Overall it was a great trip and Ryan the property manager answered all of our question even though he was a bit under the weather. Can’t wait to go back!
House is perfect! Communication with Robert and Ryan is perfect! Ryan is gracious and a wealth of knowledge. He met us at the airport, gave us the lowdown on the area (shopping, where to get bottle water and to stay out of the police station. ;-). We rented a van so we could all travel together, but it was nice to have the Jeep as a back up. The beaches are amazing, Gold Rock Beach was our favorite. We snorkeled, shelled, walked having the entire beach to ourselves. Great beach for kids! Rented umbrellas from Valentino and he had fresh coconuts that we drank from, a must do! Fortune Cay Beach and Banana Bay restaurant, we rented chairs from the restaurant and the food was very good! Played golf at the Reef Golf Course, also drove up to McLean town and fly fished with Leroy. At the end of the day it was so nice to come back to the house, enjoy a beverage while watching the sunset. Night Herons visit every evening, an occasional turtle and to watch the Bar Jacks stir up the water. House furnishings and beds are super comfy. We hope to return to the Bahamas soon, the people are wonderful and the beaches are gorgeous.

Incredible base for an adventure vacation
The house and property was beautiful. Right on a canal with lots of fish by the seawall to watch and feed. And of course the boat is right there to take us to the reef, and there are kayaks for exploring the canals. On top of that there's a jeep to explore the many beaches and caves on the island. And a private pool! All included in the price of the rental. Bruce and Ryan were responsive, friendly, and very helpful. Loved Lucaya and Bruce's home.

The best maintained house in Freeport with all the toys!
This house is immaculate, extremely well maintained, convenient to everywhere you want to go and the hosts were phenomenal with descriptions on how to work everything and very prompt to answer any questions that we had! We pulled our boat right up to the 50' of dock space they have available and we've loved taking the jeep into town. We took the small boat out to the reef and snorkeled for the day and it runs flawlessly! If you're on the fence about booking this property --- book it now.

Best vacation!
The house was very clean the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool everyday, the house manager was very helpful and responsive. We brought our own food and cooked every night the house was plenty big enough for our family of 6 plus our two year old son. We went on a Sunday to the national park to see the caves and went to the beach we were literally the only people on the entire beach It was great! we hope to be back soon!

Awesome vacation during COVIT-19
Despite the start of the Corona virus in Canada, we decided to make the trip to Grand Bahama in mid March since we would be able to keep to ourselves in this house should it come to that. Considering Bahamas didn't have any cases at that point that seemed like a reasonable decision. We were greeted at the airport by the property manager Ryan, giving us a lift to the house where he showed us all the amenities, explained how to use the boat and Jeep. Ryan was great as he also gave us tips where to go out, shopping, snorkeling and so on. We felt immediately comfortably at home and enjoyed our first few days and explored beaches and Restaurants of which The Stoned Crab is our favorite! Unfortunately, the Bahamian Government decided a few days into our stay to close all Restaurants, businesses and even beaches and we were pretty much confined to the house and pool, but made the most of it. However when all the airlines started to cease operation out of Bahamas we decided to take the last available plane for a long time and go home. Bruce was nice enough to credit the missed days and we will be back in the fall for sure. Amazing place with amazing people! Thank you Bruce and Ryan! Until soon!

Best Vacation EVER!!
We are just waiting at the airport readying for departure. We've had a lovely time. We took many of your suggestions for eating spots: Pisces, Zorbas, Sabor ... Flying Fish was our favorite. We rented a minivan for one day to go east: Lucayan National Park and Gold Rock beach, then headed west to Paradise Cove/ Deadmans cove for snorkeling. We swam with turtles, rays and so many fish. Absolutely beautiful! I swam most mornings in the canal, and we motored around your canal and the one over by Lucaya a couple of times. The boat was a BIG hit. We had a seasoned boater amongst us who loved nothing better than touring thru the canals. We boated over to the beach near the Lucayan market...pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Ryan was terrific! My husband dropped his prescription sunglasses off your dock and Ryan came over to swim down and get them. He provided a recommendation for a doctor to look at my daughter's ears. We all piled into his truck this morning to get to the airport. I haven't ridden in the back of an open truck since I was a kid. This might allay people's misgivings. I would not have known that a hurricane had affected your property whatsoever. My husband became our jeep driver...he became quite adept at driving on the left side of the road. I was the trip planner! I wanted to see the beaches, national parks, eat local fare, snorkel, etc... The Bahamians are such lovely people. It was fascinating to hear their stories of such a terrible storm and their resiliency is impressive. We loved that the market area was so close and we enjoyed many a drink and meal there. We WILL be back!! Cheers, Loved it! Your Bahamas home is beautiful!

Great Find!
We quite enjoyed our recent stay at this property! The house and grounds were beautifully maintained and provided an ambiance that was both relaxing and secure at the same time. We found the added amenities of the boat and jeep to be just what we needed to take our island adventure to the next level! We spent countless hours free diving/spear fishing the local reefs and managed to eat like royalty from the bounty that the ocean provided. Many thanks to both the owners and the caretaker for allowing us this wonderful opportunity. Throughout the whole process they were attentive and helpful. Even the neighbors seemed quite nice! I would highly recommend this rental!

Excellent Experience
Renting this house was an excellent experience. The owner was in contact with us directly in regards to different details about the property. He took the time to continue to email with us and answer any questions we may have had about the property and island itself. The house is gorgeous, very clean and well taken care of. If we needed anything while we were there the property manager was only a phone call away. The owner even helped in setting up a vow renewal for my wife while we were there. We have never rented a house like this before and this truly was an incredible experience. If in the future we find ourselves back in the Bahamas hands down would I rent this house again from this owner. Another huge plus to this property was the house had an alarm system as well as a gate you had to open to enter the property. Just a little extra security which was nice while being in a different country. Overall excellent experience so thank you to the owner and property manager for making my families vacation a great one!

Although, the weather made it difficult to get out on the open water during our stay it was nice to have the boat to putter around on the canals. Ryan was very nice and very accommodating. Great time in Freeport
The house was fantastic and made us feel right at home back in Freeport! Had everything for a family to do, from the use of the boat, swimming in the pool and kayaking. We celebrated Thanksgiving and grilled the turkey on the gas grill and watched the ball games on large screen TV. House has everything for a great stay. Ryan the caretaker did a great job and was very helpful and booking with the Nixon's was very easy and the info provided for the house explained everything!
