Gorgeous Lakefront retreat Sleeps 8 adults and 4 children. We have 4 queen bedrooms, 3 are masters with separate full baths that were recently renovated, one that is now handicap accessible! There are 2 have private balconies overlooking the lake, and 1 bunk bedroom with 4 beds.

Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops, brand new appliances, completely renovated for the discriminating chef, overlooking the lake. Nice 2 story fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Huge deck with 6 person jacuzzi, gas grill and outdoor speakers. The dock is available for you to keep your boat and or wave runner. It is perfect for swimming and fishing. Beautiful sunsets every evening over Deep Creek Lake make for a relaxing evening in this 5 star home. The moonrise is also spectacular while sitting around the campfire.

Great Vacation Deep Creek Lake

My family of 10 had an amazing vacation at Base Camp. The house was largest enough to meet everyone's needs. Base Camp was right on the lake with a private dock and location was just a few miles from shopping, restaurants and amusements and arcade for the grandchildren. I would highly recommend Base Camp!!

Vacation in August 2024

Home is very convenient to shopping. Also the yard is gently sloped and has a brick walkway which makes access to the lake stress free. Only issue is that the one queen bed upstairs needs to be replaced as it slopes to the middle. That being said we are considering to return to this property in 2025

Comfortable Home Right on the Lake

We had a great weekend! The house was clean and comfortable. Loved the hot tub and close proximity to fun activities like the Mountain Coaster at Wisp, mini golf, go carts and arcades.

Beautiful View

We spent a week at Base Camp in August of 2024. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We have been coming to deep creek for over 20 years. We have always wanted to stay at Base Camp but we were reluctant due to lack of A/C. Now that the house incudes this feature we excitedly booked our vacation at Base Camp. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations. Base Camp has a huge deck overlooking the lake and we enjoyed many meals and family time out there. The interior accommodations met our needs. The easy slope down to the dock was also appreciated. Some of our family members had difficulty with the rock steps that lead to the dock. Overall, I would highly recommend Base Camp for anyone that wants to just relax and enjoy the peaceful Deep Creek Lake experience.

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Base Camp. The views were amazing and the room and house were comfortable. Bonus was the hot tub! Our host was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home

The house was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view of the lake. The spacious back patio and fire pit is where we spent the most of our time when we were at the house because of its amazing views. It’s well located and just a short drive to where ever you want to go in the area. Our group had a fantastic time here.

Photos didn’t do this place justice

I planned this trip a year in advance for my husbands 50th bday. When we all checked in, everyone was super happy with the house. The view was breathtaking and the entire home was cozy and well kept. The other couples that came with us even asked for the link of this listing so they could book it in the future. If we are to travel again to the area, we are definitely booking this house again. Hands down! You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful Lakefront

The property is wonderful, however there are quite a few steps from the driveway to the house (and from the lawn to the floating dock) that are quite steep and lack a railing, which made it difficult for the grandparents. The view from the deck was spectacular.

Beautiful home with amazing views.

We absolutely enjoyed the base camp home. Close proximity to all the local shops, recreation, and restaurants. The lake access was amazing for our kayaking group. The fire pit was a favorite spot that our group of friends enjoyed sitting around telling stories every evening.I would highly recommend coming & staying at base camp.

Wisp Ski Trip

I've been coming to Deep Creek Lake to snow ski and water ski since I was 24 years old. My kids spent their summers on the water and winters on the slopes here. I love to come here and want others to love it to.

Why they chose this property

The southern exposure is important in the summer months and by dinnertime the deck is shaded for outdoor grilling. In the wintertime the sun warms the house and brightens the day. It's perfect to walk down to the lake and swim and it's an easy walk back up to the Jacuzzi. We have lots of privacy but great views and are located close to everything. In the evening around the campfire we can see the moon over the lake, listen to music and spend quality time together.
