Not what we expected
Upon arriving we had an issue getting the key from the lock box. We called the number given on the check in email, and the person that answered tried to help but was unable to walk us through openeing the key box. While he was calling someone to help us we finally figured out the lock. There needs to be an explanation on how to open the box for those unfamiliar with this type of lock. We found dirty dishes in the silverware drawer, and had to run everything through the dishwasher before they could be used. The vent covers in both bathrooms were dirty and had to be cleand. The popcorn ceiling above the entry to the kitchen is pealing off and we found pieces on the floor. None of the three TVs in the unit were working, we checked all the connections and insured the TVs were plugged in. We found this to be the biggest issue. This is the first time ever staying with a VRBO property that we had no TVs that worked properly. I'm not sure what service they subscribe to in this unit, but it took thirty seconds for the channels to change and only a couple of stations would work. Had I not brought my laptop we would have had no TV at all. On the inside of the front door, the knob was about to fall off, and entire week we thought it was going to come off in our hands. We had to move the double bed in the small bedroom, because it was pushed up against the closet, blocking access.
