Family escape

The house became our home away from home. It’s proximity St. Andrew’s rocky beach is wonderful. Margarita was quick to respond to our inquiries Hummingbirds, deer, eagles and osprey were daily sightings that we enjoyed

Beautiful!

We spent 3 weeks in this beautiful 3-bedroom house that is bright, comfortable and very clean, with plenty of space for our two families. Spectacular views and everything that we could need during our visit. Our children loved the space to run around, especially the outside of the property, loads of space to play! They went on the beach to collect shells and crabs and enjoyed the pool (even if it was chilly). The outside patio and fire pit were much appreciated and nice to watch the tide go out. It’s a few minutes from St-Andrews, where there is a grocery store and many restaurants and boutiques. Our favorite beach (New Rivers Beach) was 25-30 mins drive. It’s a nice sandy beach to play, but very windy. During our stay, we rented 3 kayaks (for 10 days at home) from a cie name ‘’kayak 2 go’’ which we highly recommend. It’s an incredible spot to do so! Going to Minister Island is about 20 minutes by kayak. We also did a lot of biking, but you must know that most of the trails are for mountain bikes. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful, peaceful spot

Ocean Sunrise provided a mostly wonderful experience. The house was very roomy, comfortable and well supplied. The view was gorgeous, and though there were neighbours close by, it was private, peaceful and quiet. We were there during a very warm week, so the pool was divine. It’s not heated, so it was chilly at times and required some “easing” in. A solar blanket would be helpful. The east facing windows in this older home offer a magnificent view and stunning sunrise, but they are not solar efficient and add enormous heat to the living room. It was difficult to regulate the AC so that the upstairs bedroom stayed tolerably cool and the downstairs bedrooms didn’t freeze. We bought a floor fan at the Canadian Tire in St. Stephen and blew cool air up the stairwell which helped tremendously. Overall, once we got the kinks worked out, we had a very pleasant stay. You won’t get the sound of ocean waves here, as the cove is fairly sheltered, but taking in the beauty of the surroundings and watching the magnificent tide come and go was an absolute pleasure.

Amazing!

The property is breathtaking. Everything is well thought out and it has a space for everyone. One thing to note is the master bedroom is on the upper floor and the other two rooms are on the walkout portion in the lower level. The pool was a great addition. And the location was convenient. Definitely will stay again.

Stunning

From the minute you walk into the beautiful home you will be greeted with bright beautiful views of the water. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and we either hung around the island in the middle of the kitchen or the pool . At night we would sit around in the living room, watch the kids play while the sun went down over the water. It was in a perfect location to get to town (about 5-7 minute drive) Lastly Dayle the property manager was excellent and was always available by phone or text. Thank you again. The Jackson's.
