The farmstay space is private in the finished section of our gorgeous barn that was built in 2006 with beams from an 1850's Vermont barn - the best of both worlds - antique charm and full modern amenities. The bedroom is comfortably appointed with a queen-size bed, augmented with a twin daybed. The adjacent lounge area faces east and has great views of the farm. For larger groups, step up the antique ladder to the simple loft above the queen bed for additional sleeping spots—another twin bed and a double bed. The corner nook provides a twin futon perfect for kids.
The farmhouse-style full kitchen, full bathroom, and great room below are exclusively yours to enjoy throughout your stay.
Linens, towels, and an equipped kitchen are all provided. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use. Wireless internet is complimentary and we have strong cell phone reception.
An orientation tour by one of the farmers will brief you on your surroundings and the farm operation. Overnight rates include a farm-fresh breakfast basket. If you’re looking to stock up on more provisions for your stay, come shop at our farm stand.
The Barn Guesthouse kitchen is furnished as you would expect for a contemporary kitchen, minus a microwave. It is set up to enable you to make and enjoy the freshest meals possible, simple or complex. In addition to the kitchen tools and gadgets, you will also find basic staples like sugar, salt, pepper, lard, and cooking oil all available for your use.
Our farmstand is stocked and available for guests seeking to purchase sustainably raised meats and veggies for cooking or taking home.
We also offer Farm Experiences during the growing season for all ages interested in fun activities and hands-on learning. As featured in Vermont Life, you can enjoy Lattes on the Hoof as well as welcoming baby chicks, being a goat milking assistant and more. Farm experiences are available for day visitors or can be packaged together with lodging for a full-fledged farmstay. See our website for more details on what is offered each year.
