The house has an amazing atmosphere, it is situated practically secluded within reach of AUPS 10min by car. There are 4 separate rooms, which means we had plenty of space and privacy. Famous views, and incredible tranquility. The house is slightly old fashion, however in the necessary comfort and unique atmosphere. The owner has all the information prepared complete with tips on good restaurants and trips. Recommended for lovers of true Provence.

Trop court séjour dans ce paradis, nous reviendrons !

Avec grand plaisir j'aimerais revenir l'été prochain profiter de ce havre de paix en famille et continuer à découvrir la région. Nous avons été très bien accueilli avec ce magnifique bouquet de fleurs et ce délicieux vin. Il n'y a rien à dire tellement cette vue était resplendissante et la nature même asséchée reste luxuriante avec les petits renards, lapins et petits rongeurs qui grimpent dans l'arbre fruitier en haut à coté de la piscine pour déguster ses fruits....Les enfants ont été ravis du terrain ou l'on peut crapahuter, jouer au volet, badminton et votre piscine et son mobilier sont très chaleureux. Nos deux chiens sont éduqués et sont restés a courir dans la montagne et nous leur avons interdit l'accès à l'intérieur de la maison. Je vous souhaite beaucoup de bonheur, merci encore et à très bientôt à Aups je l'espère. Bien cordialement

The villa is lovely and the view was spectacular, one of the biggest landscapes I’ve seen.

Didier was very helpful and everything was as detailed. Any question was dealt with quickly. The villa is just 15mins from the beautiful lake so we spent most of our time close by and all had a wonderful time.

A real find - we didn't want to go home from paradise.

We've been coming to the Aups area for over 10 years now and have stayed in many different properties. However this is by far and away the best in the area. This was our second visit and we couldn’t wait to return to this special house this year. The location cannot be beaten - in a woodland clearing, on the side of a hill (the highest house up the hill), looking across the hills and forests of Provence and towards the villages of Aups and Moissac. There are no near neighbours, so if you truly want to "get away from it all" (as we do) this is the place to be. The sunsets are amazing! The house itself is full of character, we found it clean and tidy, and very well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious (particularly the main bedroom, which has a large window looking out to the fabulous view). We loved the way the location of the old olive mill press had been incorporated into the house design to form a cosy sitting area. The pool was very clean and well looked after. As well as the large patio area directly outside the back of the house (with a great view), there is another sitting area beside the pool, under an old oak tree, perfect for sitting under when the weather is very hot. Should you ever want to leave the house to go out for the day (we did not go out much, as the house is so nice you don't feel the need to), the road to the Verdon Gorge is conveniently close by. A quick drive will take you to the Lac de Sainte-Croix, or down into Aups for shopping. The house is great place for a dog to holiday too - lots of space for running around and exciting “walkies” further up the track into the woodland and to the top of a rocky viewpoint very close by. Arrival details were very comprehensive, all our questions were answered quickly and efficiently. The owner is very helpful indeed, nothing was too much trouble and we felt he went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Ruim huis met formidabel uitzicht

Dit charmante, ruime huis ligt in het midden van de natuur. Het panorama van op het terras is adembenemend. Een heerlijke, rustige plek en tegelijk dicht genoeg bij Aups voor winkels, bakker,... Wij maakten lange fietstochten naar de Gorges de Verdon, maar ook de natuur en de dorpen in de ruime regio rond het huis zijn de moeite waard. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam.

Einfach traumhaft! Sehr zu empfehlen

So einen idyllischen Platz findet man selten. Ruhig gelegen und einfach schön. Das Haus ist groß und hat viele, schöne Zimmer. Zum Lac de Sainte Croix sind es nur 20 min. Die Hunde waren willkommen und haben es genauso genossen, wie wir. Kontakt mit dem Vermieter verlief reibungslos und war immer freundlich. Wir kommen sicher wieder

Incredible! The perfect holiday home.

Such an incredible home and location. Everything you could want in a holiday home. Clean, all amenities provided, beautiful location, lots of amazing places to hike and see. This is our 3rd time at the house and we plan to come every summer for years to come. And a big thank you to the owners for accommodating us so well every visit. Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing Villa to experience Provence!

My wife and stayed at this wonderful, traditional villa in the heart of aups for a week in 2016, and re-visited in 2017. The villa is simply amazing. It is a traditional home set in a stunning setting on top of a hill overlooking Provence. The house has is large and rustic, which gives the perfect ambience of an authentic Provence villa. The pool is large enough for a family to enjoy all day, and again has amazing views. From the house you Can walk into the open countryside, which is excellent if you enjoy nature. From the house you are a short drive from a number of great locations- including the village of Aups (which has an excellent market weekly, and nice restaurants for the evening) and a number of other villages including tourtours. You can readily drive to gorge du verdon and other sites. I have travelled all around the world and this home and Provence is my favourite place. If you like traditional, authentic holiday experiences Provence and this home is perfect. 5/5!

Séjour idyllique en Haute Provence

"Nous avons passé une semaine idyllique en famille avec mes enfants et mes petits enfants dans ce beau mas provençal sur les collines de Aups. La vue imprenable est tout simplement magnifique. Par temps clair, on voit jusqu’aux collines de Marseille. La situation est idéale pour visiter la Haute Provence et si l'envie d'une journée à la plage vous tente, vous n'avez qu'une bonne heure jusqu'à la côte méditerranéenne. La maison est aménagée avec goût, la piscine est agréable et les espaces extérieurs très bien aménagés. Grand jardin magnifique, idéal avec des enfants et même pour les "grands" qui rêvent de farniente dans une chaise longue avec un bon livre et un petit verre de vin blanc ! Soleil, calme, parfums, verdure et cette superbe vue...un petit havre de paix ! Nous y avons passé une excellente semaine et n'attendons qu'une chose...pouvoir bientôt y retourner. "

Jamais deux sans trois, on y retournera certaineme

Une superbe quinzaine fin juillet 2016, après une première expérience d’une semaine, deux ans auparavant ! L'annonce est conforme à la réalité, l’endroit est encore plus beau que sur les photos : on domine tout, d’où une vue panoramique vraiment étonnante… Avec ses murs très épais, la maison reste fraîche en permanence (nous prenions le soin de fermer les volets la journée, pour que le soleil ne surchauffe pas l'intérieur). Tout est agréable, les chambres, la cuisine, la salle à manger près du pressoir à olives, le salon face à la cheminée, avec vue sur le jardin (qui entoure la maison, la propriété elle-même faisant 12 hectares, donc pas de bruits de voisins) ; c'est une vraie maison de vie, il y a tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner, et même, pour les grillades, des herbes aromatiques sauvages telles que thym et romarin autour de la maison : nous la recommandons à tous ceux qui aiment les intérieurs authentiques. A noter qu'elle se situe à peine à 5 minutes en voiture du village d’Aups (2 marchés par semaine), et de là on est sur la côte en moins d'une heure… Très jolie piscine en mosaïque, avec vue sur le paysage en contre-bas et avec deux grandes terrasses, dont une à l’ombre, où l’on peut déjeuner au frais. Jamais deux sans trois, on y retournera certainement !

Pas grand chose à redire... Le jardinier est même passé pour l'entretien des massifs de fleurs ! À refaire en plein été, avec le chant des cigales et le pastis encore plus frais :-)

Luxe, calme et volupté...

Très bel endroit parfaitement adapté au farniente :-) Tout à fait au calme, le voisin le plus proche est à 500 m ! Vue imprenable et très belle maison pleine de caractère. Nous espérons y revenir... À conseiller !

VUE EXTRAORDINAIRE, CHARME, TRANQUILLITE TOTALE

Une séjour inoubliable dans ce petit paradis. Nous avons découvert un mas authentique perdu au milieu de la colline, dans la pinède et les chênes verts. La maison est agréable et chaleureuse, aménagée avec goût. On s'y est tout de suite senti bien. Nous en avons gardé un très bon souvenir et ne manquerons sûrement pas d'y revenir...
