Un compleanno meraviglioso
Un appartamento pulito, davvero ben attrezzato, abbastanza grande con stile e fascino. tante regali all'arrivo e buona comunicazione con la padrona di casa. ci ha dato alcuni consigli e ha sempre avuto tempo per una chiacchierata. l'ultima parte del percorso non è asfaltata, quindi una piccola sfida. per il resto tutto perfetto. il riscaldamento è stato sufficiente anche per questo inverno pugliese. tutto sommato assolutamente raccomandabile.

Residenza di campagna ottocentesca molto bella e ben tenuta, restaurata conservativamente preservando il sapore dell'immobile storico. Il contesto è piacevole e a contatto con la natura, sebbene la garganica ogni tanto si senta (con vento dal mare - comunque non è un rumore fastidioso). La proprietaria è cordiale e discreta. Veniamo agli aspetti negativi. LA CASA. L'immobile è diviso in due parti: guardandolo a sinistra è denominato "Villa Basso", con 3 appartamenti; a destra si chiama "Villa Manganaro" (con medesima destinazione d'uso e suddivisione). In tutto ci sono dunque 6 appartamenti. La terrazza che vedete nelle foto è un passaggio comune a tutti, quindi chiunque (dei 6) può usare gli arredi da giardino. Se alloggiate nell'appartamento al piano terrazza e avete malauguratamente accanto vicini cafoni (come a noi è accaduto), non vi resta altro da fare che... chiudervi in casa. I PAESI dei dintorni valgono turisticamente molto poco. L'unico "visitabile" è Monte Sant'Angelo che, però, è in collina a 20 minuti dalla casa. Più verso il mare avete le alternative di Mattinata (con un'unica via centrale "adatta" a fare una passeggiatina) e Manfredonia (città sostanzialmente industriale, non pensata per il turismo). Arrivare a Vieste significa stare 1 ora in auto su una strada di soli tornanti. LE SPIAGGE. Avete due alternative tra cui scegliere: spiagge di sassi con acqua abbastanza pulita (diverse nel raggio di qualche km dalla villa) O spiagge di sabbia con mare IMBARAZZANTE (a Manfredonia). Contesto carino ma poco adatto a bambini e famiglie con bambini.

Wir bewohnten "Roxane", die mittlere der drei Wohnungen und fühlten uns wie in einem herrschaftlichen Palazzo. Sehr hohe, handbemalte Decken, Seidenvorhänge, Spitzengardinen, antikes Mobiliar, aber auch die qualitativ hochwertige (und moderne) Ausstattung von Küche und Bad, die sehr guten Betten und die fast geräuschlose Klimaanlage machten unseren Aufenthalt vom ersten Moment an zu etwas ganz besonderem. Jedes Detail ist mit Geschmack, Verstand und ohne Blick auf die Kosten ausgewählt. Und der Blick aufs Meer ist so grandios, dass man den leichten Grundton von der weiter unterhalb verlaufenden Provinzstraße nach kurzer Zeit kaum noch wahrnimmt. Unsere herzliche und großzügige Vermieterin sprach sehr gut englisch. Sie half uns so nett bei einem medizinischen Problem, dass wir ihr auf diesem Weg noch einmal danken möchten! Wir werden sehr, sehr gerne wiederkommen.

"Un soggiorno nella Villa Basso è un''esperienza per l''anima ed un elisir per lo spirito. Pochi privilegiati hanno l''opportunità di vivere in luoghi tanto belli...Maria Grazia però ha un cantuccio adatto anche a voi. La dimora storica è stata ristrutturata con arte e rispetto. Materiali pregiati e linee essenziali, reinterpretazioni affascinanti degli ambienti interni, dotazioni che rasentano il lusso. La vista è spettacolare ed abbraccia la costa tra Mattinata e Manfredonia. L''ospite può contare su spazi verdi curatissimi nello stile del giardino-frutteto mediterraneo ed aree relax in cui sono coniugate privacy e comodità. Ed allora immaginatevi seduti a gustare un tramonto infinito, accoccolati tra un gelsomino ed una bouganville, ed a lume di candela ascoltare l''affascinante racconto di Maria Grazia, prezioso testimone ed appassionata depositaria di tante straordinarie memorie famigliari."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in La Terrazza in the very special Villa Basso at Monte San Angelo on the Gargano Promontory. Villa Basso is a beautiful old villa which Maria, our host, has restored in a most tasteful and sensitive manner. Our apartment was a comfortable combination of old with modern facilities and little touches that made it more like a home than a rental apartment. We greatly appreciated Maria’s friendliness and generosity and enjoyed the Villa Basso olive oil. We loved looking out beyond the marvellous terrace over the olive groves to the Golf di Manfredonia. The gardens are beautiful and even in late October there were pomegranates, quinces, lemons, oranges and clementines. Villa Basso is a lovely peaceful location from which to explore the beauty of the Gargano Promontory and down towards Bari and then return to relax on the terrace."

La villa a des allures de maison de maître ayant conservé son caractère historique. L''appartement est très spacieux et très calme. Particulièrement bien équipé, très joliment décoré et à la propreté irréprochable. Proche de quelques belles plages y compris de sable pour les enfants. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et se sont montrés particulièrement disponibles. Je recommande vivement cette adresse de vacances que les enfants ont eu du mal à quitter. "

"Villa Basso è una magnifica residenza e la signora Maria Grazia una persona squisita: gentilissima e disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Peccato che le belle spiagge (in particolare segnalo la bellissima baia dei Gabbiani detta anche di Vignanotica) siano un po'' distanti, per cui consiglio di avere la macchina (indispensabile anche per raggiungere il supermercato). Altra cosa che mi sento di segnalare è il lieve disturbo della quiete causato dal passaggio delle macchine sulla strada statale Garganica."

"Nous avons passé 13 jours à la Villa Basso dans l''appartement Roxane. Il faut préciser que la villa comprend 3 appartements que nous avons visités. Ils sont tous décorés avec goût et très confortables. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans l''appartement Roxane. Nous avons apprécié: la grande propreté, les pièces spacieuses, les hauts plafonds avec fresques, l''équipement très fonctionnel, la décoration intérieure raffinée, l''aménagement extérieur de toute beauté, la tranquilité des lieux et surtout la vue panoramique sur la mer et les oliviers. WOW!!! Maria Grazia est une hotesse charmante, très accueillante et d''une grande disponibilité. La région du Gargano en Puglia faut vraiment le détour puisqu''elle offre des paysages (mer+montagne)et villages d''une beauté à couper le souffle. Il est indispensable d''avoir une voiture pour se déplacer. La villa est située à 10 KM à la basse de la montagne du village de Monte Sant Angelo qui se trouve au sommet à près de 900 mètres d''altitude. Il est possible aussi de faire des courses ou d''aller au resto à Mattinata et à Manfredonia qui sont à moins de 10 km. Nous vous recommandons particulièrement les visites de Vieste, Monte Sant Angelo, Peschici, Trani, Bari, Barletta, les sentiers pédestres de la Forest Umbra, le marché du mercredi à Manfredonia et les nombreuses et superbes plages de la cote adriatique. Prenez le temps de découvrir la gastronomie locale fort savoureuse et notament les huiles d''olive et fromages de la région. Pour nous la Villa Basso restera un vrai p''tit paradis!!!"
