For yours farm holidays In the middle of Tuscany, amid hillside olive groves and chestnut woods, enjoy panoramic views of the magnificent Arno valley at the historic country farm Morniano, 20 km south of Florence (Hwy exit Incisa Valdarno). Built of stone and ancient ceiling timbers, the house contains a lovely (77 sq. Meter) rental apartment that comfortably accomodates 2-4 people. Accessed by a private entryway, the apartment was renovated 9 years ago but retains its historical characteristics. It contains a large, eat-in kitchen with a fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, a living / bedroom with 2 single beds and a bath. Facing south, it is beautifully furnished with antique country furniture.
The foundation of the house was built in the 12th century. The building was enlarged in the 17th century and completed in 1658. Historically Morniano was a place that offered hospitality for pilgrims on their way to Rome.

Toskanisches Paradies

Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Das liebevoll gepflegtes Anwesen mit historischen Hintergrund hat uns gleich begeistert. Besonders der einmalige Ausblick über das Tal. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was das moderne Leben braucht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen besonders die Natur, den schönen Garten mit Pool und den tollen Ausblick. Wir würden gerne einmal wieder kommen!

Prachtig, schoon huis met aardige eigenaren voor rustzoekers

Het huis ligt wat afgelegen en is daardoor een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. Er zijn een heleboel tops om voor dit huis te kiezen, b.v.: De rustige omgeving Het zwembad (afhankelijk van het weer of het open is) Een leuke plek om te zitten in de tuin Schoon Fijne bedden Aardige behulpzame eigenaren die hun talen beheersen (Italiaans, Engels, Duits) Dat alles weegt ruim op tegen het ontbreken van een oven 😊.

Tuscan adventure

Andrea and Maurizio were very gracious and helpful hosts. They provided research and maps to direct us everywhere we inquired and more. The apartment was charming and beautiful set deep into the Tuscan countryside. The property and view was spectacular. For a remote ish and relaxing out of city bustle stay we highly recommend this location.

Much more than a "stay", it is an experience not to be missed!

Nestled high on a hill overlooking a deep valley the views are superb. The apartment is clean, elegant, spacious and light filled. The grounds are made up of olive orchards and beautiful gardens providing the visitor endless opportunities to explore. The hosts are warm and welcoming. Ein Kleinod in der Toskana

Andrea und Maurizio sind sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber. Die Ferienwohnung ist super ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wer die absolute Ruhe liebt, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Dennoch ist man in ca. 30 Min. in Florenz mitten im Leben. Wenn es sich ergibt, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Geweldig

We hebben genoten van onze vakantie. Het appartement is uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is gelegen op de berg en is een klein paradijs, waar je niets anders hoort dan de geluiden van de insecten en de vogels. Maurizio en Andrea komen af en toe even langs om te vragen of alles ok is en als je tips nodig hebt, staan ze voor je klaar. Bij twijfel, gewoon boeken!

Im Paradies gelandet

Wir waren 7 Tage bei Andrea und Maurizio. Das Anwesen ist ziemlich abgelegen, aber paradiesisch! Im Häuschen war alles vorhanden, was man braucht und auch auf absolut hochwertigem Stand. Was fehlte, wurde umgehend von Andrea bereitgestellt. Sie gab uns auch super Tipps zu Ausflügen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Pool mit Blick in die Berge und ins Tal war der Hammer! Das Grundstück wird liebevoll von Maurizio und Andrea gepflegt. Beide sind sooo herzlich, aber absolut unaufdringlich. Wer mal richtig entspannen möchte, ist dort absolut richtig aufgehoben! Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Einfach wundervoll

Andrea & Maurizio sind so herzliche Menschen an einem ganz wunderbaren Fleckchen Erde. Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen & mit Tipps für unsere Unternehmungen versorgt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar, alles sehr naturverbunden, ruhig und perfekt um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Tiddy, die Hofhündin ist absolut entspannt und sehr lieb! Wir kommen gerne noch einmal wieder! - Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist gerade beim ersten mal ein wenig spannend, aber absolut machbar! Von mal zu mal klappt es besser :)

The hosts, Andrea and Maurizio were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly.

This was a beautiful place, accomodations were spacious, comfortable, just like home with a good kitchen, lovely patio and a swimming pool. We just wanted to spend time in the beauty of the gardens and surrounding views.

an enjoyable escape

An idyllic rural escape especially after 5 nights in Rome. This is the place if you are wanting to see the other side of Italy as a return to nature where you can forget about the daily grind and fully immerse yourself in nature ... the sounds or lack of it are stunning but be prepared to drive to enjoy. Andrea and Maurizio were lovely and welcoming from the start and Tiddy the house guard was loved by all. The house provided all that we needed as a family of 4 and we would love to return in the near future we are grateful to have been able to enjoy this beautiful house and location Many Thanks from us all Debbie Micheal Josh and Ethan

Einfach traumhaft

Wir waren schon mehrmals in der Toskana an verschiedenen Orten und haben uns auf unseren Urlaub gefreut und wir sind nicht entäuscht worden. Wir haben in Andrea, Maurizio und Francesca ganz liebe Gastgeber kennengelernt, die wir sehr ins Herz geschlossen haben, einschließlich Tidi, den Familienhund. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und man hat das Gefühl, dort alleine zu wohnen. Die liebevoll restaurierte Wohnung befindet sich in einem schönen alten toskanischen Landhaus, ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und sehr sauber. Traumhaft gelegen war auch der Pool, an dem wir herrlich relaxen konnten. In der Nähe gibt es schöne Ausflugsziele. Das Ambiente und die Ruhe haben uns immer davon abgebracht, abends Essen zu gehen. Wir haben selbst gekocht und auch bei einem guten Wein die Umgebung genossen. Danke Euch liebe Andrea, Maurizio und Francesca, es war eine wunderschöne Woche die wir mit Euch verbringen konnten und wir hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen.

For the second time absolutely wonderful!

We enjoyed a great week at this property in June, this year. After an unforgettable week we spent last year at this property we decided to come back. He had one of the best holiday, exactly like last year. This place has a lot to offer: a marvelous silent landscape, a beautiful apartment with a great swimming pool and gorgeous garden, a lovely landlord family, just to mention only few of the particularities. It is a perfect starting point to visit the cities in the region (Sienna, Firenze, and Arezzo) and consider visiting the small cities or villages as well. On the other side, if you want to be pleased with the quietness of the nature then you are in the right spot. The landlord gives you a lot of valuable tips related to the restaurants, food, trips and everything you need to know to feel enjoyable. Use them, it really helps! To conclude, we will definitely come back and I highly recommend this property.

Fantastisch!

Das Haus liegt inmitten einer traumhaften Landschaft. Das Haus ist gepflegt, sauber, wunderschön, einfach ein Traum! Andrea, Maurizio und ihre Tochter Francesca (und Tido, der Familienhund!) haben uns unglaublich herzlich aufgenommen, und uns superTipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Man hatte direkt das Gefühl ein Teil der Familie zu sein. Wir konnten uns die 7 Tage, die wir dort waren restlos entspannen und haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat auch einen idealen Standort um Ausflüge nach Florenz, Arezzo, Siena etc. zu machen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder zu Andrea und ihrer Familie gehen und würden die Ferienwohnung aufjedenfall Allen weiterempfehlen.

Einfach nur schön!

Liebe Andrea und Familie, so schön der Urlaub bei Euch war, so schnell hatte uns der Alltag in der Heimat wieder. Deshalb mit etwas Verspätung unsere Wertung. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment in eurer kleinen Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Der blühende Garten über dem Arno-Tal hat uns die Erholung gebracht, die wir dringend brauchten. Jemand hat in einer Bewertung geschrieben: "In Wirklichkeit ist alles noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Vielen lieben Dank nochmals für eure Gastfreundschaft, den wunderbaren Ausflugstipps, für die leckeren Kräuter aus eurem Garten, ..." Was sollen wir da noch sagen. So ist es! Fabelhaft!

Wir haben eine unvergessliche Woche in einem wunderbaren Haus, in einem faszinierenden Umfeld und bei extrem netten und freundlichen Besitzern verbracht! Inmitten reiner Natur auf einem kleinen Hügel liegt das sehr gut ausgestattete, ruhige und saubere Haus. In Wirklichkeit ist es viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Vor der Wohnung liegt eine schattige Terrasse für die heißen Tage. Ein paar Meter weiter vorne und etwa höher liegt ein sonnige Platz mit Blick auf den Olivengarten (auf den Fotos sind diese nicht zu sehen). Von hier aus führt ein Weg mit einer leichten Steigung zu einer wunderschönen Wiese mit einem sauberen Pool, der von Olivenbäumen, Rosmarin und farbenprächtigen Blumen umgegeben ist. Eine Schaukel für Kinder befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig und harmonisch. Ein verzauberter Garten mit Olivenbäumen, Rosmarinbüschen und zahlreichen berauschend duftigen Pflanzen und Blumen rundet das Bild eines Märchenhauses ab. Dieser Platz ist perfekt, um die Toskana zu entdecken, egal, ob als Naturliebhaber oder um Ausflüge in die benachbarten Städte zu unternehmen. Die Wärme, Diskretion, Verfügbarkeit und den Empfang von Andrea, Mauritio und Francesca haben wir sehr geschätzt. Wir haben viele nützliche Informationen über die vorhandenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, den Wochenmarkt, die Restaurants, gute Metzger und Parkmöglichkeiten (nicht zu unterschätzen, wenn man in die Stadt fahren will!) erhalten. Unsere Tochter (8 ) hat sich so wohl gefühlt, dass sie fast den ganzen Weg nach Hause geweint hat, weil der Urlaub zu Ende war. Liebe Andrea, Francesca und Mauritio, vielen herzlichen Dank für alles, was wir in dieser Woche bei euch erlebt haben. Wir können es kaum erwarten, nächstes Jahr wieder zu euch zu kommen.

Viele Gründe wiederzukommen!

Wir waren nun das zweite Mal da! Der wunderschöne Blick auf die Zypressen- und Olvenhaine, das gemütliche Heim, die erfrischenden Schwimmzüge im klaren Meerwasser des Pools, die liebevolle Fürsorge und die guten Ausflugstips der Vermieterin in unserer Muttersprache brachten uns ganz schnell wieder in die ersehnte Urlaubsstimmung. Viele Grründe, um wiederzukommen!

Besser geht's nicht

Wir können das Ferienhaus von Andrea und Maurizio uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es liegt wunderschön auf einem Hügel, inmitten der Natur von Olivenhainen umgeben. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und vollständig ausgestattet. In Wirklichkeit ist alles noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Bezauberndes Landhaus inmitten reiner Natur

Bezaubernde Ausblicke über den Arno-Tal in einer wunderschönen Umgebung von Oliven-, Feigen- und Kastenienbäumen. Das Haus ist bequem aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet, voll ausgestattete Küche, geräumige Schlafzimmer und alles makellos sauber. Andrea und Maurizio sind fürsorgliche, reizende Gastgeber, immer zur Hilfe mit Ausflugs- und Restaurant-Tipps, dabei nicht im geringsten aufdringlich. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und freut sich entsprechend nach einer langen Ausflugsfahrt auf einen schönen Abend mir Pool, Terrasse und Grillenzirpen. Unser Aufenthalt war ein wahres Vergnügen!
