In winter time 150 meters from the skibus which brings you in 10 minutes to the largest ski-resort in the Pyreneees. Séjour du 3 au 10 février 2024

Jamais vu les Pyrénées dans cet état en hiver. Plutôt le mois de juin. Donc, côté ski, très décevant, mais ce n'est pas la faute de la maison ni de notre hôte... Le petit Barzun est une maison très agréable, qui a du charme, très bien aménagée, propre, et Andréia qui nous a accueilli est une perle. Si l'occasion se présente, nous y reviendrons volontiers!

Maison tranquille pour les amoureux de nature

Maison assez isolée pour avoir de l’intimité, nos chiennes ont apprécié. Gîte bien équipé, intérieur dans son jus et sombre.

Séjour en famille au cœur des montagnes

Nous avons apprécié l'environnement particulièrement joli du logement et à quelques minutes (15 environ) à pied de barrege. La maison est très sympa avec tout ce qu'il faut, nous avons été super bien accueilli par Andrea qui a été très attentionnée. La maison était propre et pratique !

A great spot to stay if you want to be near Gavarnie, Gedre, the Sers valley, Baréges etc - amazing wildlife on your doorstep (butterflies in particular) and can walk from the house to the Sers valley (Lammergeier!) via beautiful woods, wildflower rich meadows and the creperie at St Justin. Communication with property manager was very easy and straightforward, and the house was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Très bon accueil d’Andrea Désagréablement surpris par la hauteur des portes ! Pas fait pour des grands! En haut deux chambres en enfilade et basses de plafond faisant plutôt dortoir ! Pour deux couples c’est gênant de passer chez ses voisins pour accéder à la salle d’eau Chauffage très juste! 17 degrés dans les chambres et manque d’isolation certain! Restrictions pour le bois de la cheminée À part Andrea qui est charmante cette location est décevante

Agréable et reposante Maisonnée

Maisonnée près du centre ville ( 20mn à pied) et près des commerces essentiels, proche d'accès pour des randonnées familiales, maisonnée bien aménagée et bien adaptée en matériels culinaires et ménagers. Accueil par une hôtesse très gentille pour la procédure d'arrivée....et les modalités de départ.....

Appartement très bien situé, idéal pour une semaine à la montagne

Si ce n’est un problème de circulateur de chauffage qui nous a empêché de dormir les trois dernières nuits je dirais que le chalet est très bien et équipé de façon optimale Merci à Pieter et Andreia pour l’accueil

Très bonnes vacances à Barèges

Nous avons passé un super séjour à Barèges dans un logement très bien équipé. La literie est confortable et les équipements sont parfaits. Le logement est très bien positionné au calme, un peu à l'extérieur du village mais à 20 minutes à pieds. Les finitions dans la maison sont pas super propres mais ça ne nuit pas au logement. Nous le conseillons pour un séjour hivernal ou estival

A wonderful week in the Pyrenees

We spent a week in Pieter's house in September 19, using it as a base for walking and cycling in the mountains. It is well located, reasonably far from the main road and you can easily walk to Bareges along the GR10 which runs about 100m up the hill from the house. There is a link path accessed from near the end of the drive. A walk to the boulangerie for bread and croissants and back takes about 40mins and is a delightful way to start the day. Communication with the Pieter is very easy and also with his agent in the area, Andrea. In the end we did not meet Andrea but had no problem getting into the house and leaving at the end. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for a rental house. There was a useful collection of herbs and spices left in the cupboard. The house was always warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water for showers. The house is old though, with an eclectic collection of furniture. A little more attention to cleaning would be nice, especially under the beds but this did not stop us feeling very much at home in the place.

Beaucoup plus vieille et poussiereuse que sur les photos

Très déçu par cette maison sombre et poussiéreuse et beaucoup plus vieille que nous laisse sous entendre les photos. Le chauffage au sol n'a jamais marché malgrès que nous ayons respecté la procédure (apparement il fallait appelé le proprietaire aux pays bas, ce qui ne nous a jamais été signalé). Le ménage n'a pas été fait complètement avant notre arrivée,de la poussière partout, un calvaire pour notre fils allergique aux acariens. Nous avons été obligé de remplacer les piles dans toutes les télécommandes (pas de tv, pas de wii). Sans compter le mulot qui vivait a coté de la cheminée. Je crois que le propriétaire a investi il y a plusieurs année, et laisse sa maison vivre de locataires en locataires avec les dégradations et rafistolages qui vont avec. Pour simplifié, nous avons préférés rentrée deux jours plus tôt chez nous que de passé du mauvais temps dans cette maison.

Séjour très agréable!

Maison très bien située à l'entrée du village, skibus et chemin de randonnée se trouvant juste à côté . Par beau temps, la grande terrasse permet de profiter du soleil de 10h à 17h45 la dernière semaine de février! Maison confortable avec plein de livres intéressants sur la région et une cuisine très bien équipée. Très belle chambre en bas avec accès direct sur la terrasse, une chambre toute mignonne et intimiste en haut avec chouette vue sur la montagne et village. Les deux autres chambres sont basiques. Salle de séjour/à manger pas très spacieuse quand on est nombreux mais c'est un détail quand on 'vit' dehors toute la journée. Peu de bois à disposition pour la semaine, nous avons facilement trouvé du vieux (petit) bois autour de la maison pour faire des flambées dans la jolie cheminée traditionnelle qui marche très bien. Parking spacieux à côté, ce qui permet d'accéder facilement à la maison, également pour des personnes (âgées) moins valides. Très bien accueillis par Andrea, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

semaine encore géniale!!!

Nous aimons beaucoup la maison de Peter où nous venons de séjourner pour la deuxième fois. Nous y retrouvons cette âme de la montagne dans la pièce de vie avec sa cheminée, agrémentée d'une cuisine fonctionnelle pour 9 personnes et de chambres confortables avec leurs lits king size ou cosy à l'étage. Andreia est flexible et très réactive ainsi que Peter. La maison est suffisamment éloignée de la route principale pour ne pas souffrir du bruit des voitures tout en restant proche de celle-ci ainsi que du terminus des navettes qui nous évitent ainsi de prendre les voitures durant la semaine.

LOCATION TRES BIEN SITUEE MAIS ENTRETIEN A REVOIR

Grande maison bien exposée : soleil du matin jusqu'au coucher sur la terrasse avec vue dégagée sur la montagne, bien située pour randonner à proximité, bien équipée mais entretien intérieur à revoir ++++ (ménage, humidité) ainsi que l'extérieur (terrasse non désherbée et terrain tout proche de la maison non entretenu). Nous avons malgré tout passé un agréable séjour.

Fijn huis met prachtige ligging

Het huis is prachtig gelegen met zicht op de bergen. Het grote terras waar we elke maaltijd hadden, is een grote troef. Het huis zelf is redelijk ouderwets, maar heel goed uitgerust. Eén tip: probeer de deuropening naar de woonruimte te verhogen: kleine ingreep die veel pijnlijke hoofden bespaart. Absoluut fijne week hier gehad

Quaint farm house with all necessary modernizations

Great base for hiking in the Haute-Pryénnées. House well equipped with all modern conveniences and nice outdoor patio to sit and gaze at the natural beauty. Lots of beds and space but there was just two of us and we were very comfortable.

Le Petit Barzun was a comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the chalet, we found it very comfortable, it had every gadget that you could want. The beds were very comfortable. It was in a lovely setting away from everything yet only a 10 min walk to the village and restaurants. Thank you for letting us stay.

We love skiing and nature. We come here in summer and winter, and we combine work and leisure. In the picture, we both work.
The kids love this place. Now that they have left home, they are still coming to spend Christmas with their families. And they come themselves with their friends.

Why they chose this property

This place has everything you need. Beautiful nature, tranquility and activities.
When the weather is nice, we are outside, but when it rains or snows, it is also very comfortable inside near the fireplace.

What makes this property unique

Our house is located in the natural park of the Pyrenees and on the edge of the ski area. The ski bus stops nearby. You can walk to the village to eat, drink or buy something at the bakery, butcher or supermarket.
The terrace in front of the house is sunny all day, and as soon as it shines it is lovely with a beautiful view.
