Charming house for 4 people 5km from Sarlat with swimming pool.

Located 5km south of Sarlat, the Yeuse is an old farm from the 19th century, recently restored. Adjacent to that of the owners but very independent, and furnished with great taste, it is located in a very beautiful setting of flowery and wooded greenery with private access to the swimming pool (dimension 10x5m, depth 50cm to 2.50m) reserved exclusively for the tenant . The cottage includes a kitchen area with dining area opening onto a TV lounge, upstairs, 2 bedrooms, one with shower room, a mezzanine and a WC. On the ground floor, a second bathroom with a washing machine and a toilet. You can enjoy your meals on the terrace and enjoy the pleasant 2000 m2 garden and the barbecue.

Séjour compliqué pour enfant en bas âge

La piscine est très belle, d'extérieur la maison est également très belle mais l'intérieur est vieillot, pas très propre et compliqué pour un enfant en bas âge (marche dans le salon, escaliers glissant...). La localisation est top mais vous n'aurez pas de conseils des propriétaires.

Wonderful place to stay

Lovely accommodation. Everything you need. The pool is private and clean. The hosts are brilliant and sweet. Respect your privacy and helpful whenever needed. I would absolutely recommend this stay. Practical points Close to get onto the cycle path 5mins cycle to Carsac for bakery/Spar/Butchers 5min drive to a local farm shop 10min Drive to Sarlat and Supermarket 10mins to Vitrac and the river beach/canoe hire

Ein wunderbarer Ort, um das Perigord zu entdecken

Eine tolle Unterkunft mit ganz netten, hilfsbereiten Vermietern - strategisch gut gelegen, um das Perigord zu entdecken. Wir haben mit den Fahrrädern und mit dem Auto diese wunderbare Region erfahren - und uns immer gefreut, wieder zurück zu kehren. Empfehlenswert!!

Wonderful property, amazing pool and really well located!

We spent a fantastic week at this beautiful and spacious property in the Dordogne. It was quiet and peaceful and the pool is just stunning. It’s really well located for exploring the region and we were able to visit the Caves of Lascaux, Château des Milandes and a number of the most beautiful villages in France not to mention the town of Sarlat which is just a short drive away. Our lovely hosts were always on hand if we needed anything but kept a respectful distance throughout. We had a wonderful holiday.

Gîte charmant dommage qu’il ne soit pas mieux entretenu

Gîte idéalement situé pour visiter de nombreux sites. Piscine magnifique : grande et très agréable. Dommage qu’il y ait un réel manque de propreté à l’intérieur du gîte et qu’il n’y ait pas de lave vaisselle.

Comfortable gite with lovely pool

We had a lovely holiday at this quiet, picturesque gite with its wonderful pool which is perfect for cooling off after a long days exploring the many things the region has to offer. The location is perfect between Sarlat and Carsac. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The gite itself is an older building with thick walls which helped to keep the interior cool during the very hot weather we had during our stay. Parking is very easy with plenty of room. Overall we would recommend this property and would be happy to stay again.

Amazing pool and house in quiet location

This was a great location for exploring the Dordogne. The pool was perfect especially as the temperature rose. The owners were welcoming and very helpful with information of the area. We would recommend this gite .

Wunderschönes Urlaubsdomizil

Wir haben uns von Anfang an im Haus mit tollem Pool und Garten wohlgefühlt. Unsere Vermieter sind tolle Menschen die uns sehr nett aufgenommen haben. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und gibt einem das Gefühl hier eine zeitlang zu Hause zu sein. So wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt. Ruhige Lage und schnell in Carsac-Aillac oder im größeren Sarlat. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Excellente semaine de vacances ! Gite très appréciable avec sa picine magnifique et exposé plein soleil Et en cas de meteo moins clémente Aucun problème on est au centre de tout Dans un rayon de 30 min max il y a de quoi faire Sarlat , la roque gageac , beynac, castelnaud et son château et domme. En bref super a refaire

Très bon emplacement !

Le gîte est idéalement placé pour visiter Sarlat et ses alentours. La piscine est parfaite, très agréable car spacieuse; elle est sécurisée pour les enfants (alarme et portillon). Par contre, le barbecue n'est pas utilisable à cause de la végétation qui l'entoure et le Wifi est très faible. La propreté du gîte n'était pas optimale, même pas une bouteille d'eau à notre arrivée, dommage ! Ce gîte a beaucoup de potentiel mais manque un peu d'entretien....

A wonderful House in a beautiful location and very welcoming hosts. Pool Amazing!

This was our first holiday to France and we had seen many holiday programmes to the Dordogne Area so this gave us a starting point to find a holiday home. Well all I can say is we struck gold! If you were going to draw your vision of a perfect holiday home with a private pool then this was it. We were just amazed when we saw the pictures but when you drive into the driveway you are left gobsmacked. The wonderful owners came to welcome us on our arrival and couldn't have been nicer, giving us a tour of the house and settling us in with information of the area and where to get groceries nearby. The house was so charming with wonderful features, very clean and tidy and rooms very large. The kitchen had everything needed to have a self catering holiday like we did with large fridge freezer and full gas oven and hob. The bedrooms were very neat and large with lovely comfortable beds for us and our children. The pool which you have exclusive use of was just outstanding. Set to a nice temperature and so clean, with sun beds and umbrellas laid out next to it, making a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday, which we used everyday without fail....it was so nice that we didn't want to go site seeing for a few days to enjoy it all day, the kids didn't want to get out. It had a nice graduation to it so it's perfect for all ages, and big! The location is so quiet and peaceful that you could barely hear a sound apart from the birds chirping in the trees around us. The house is approx 1.5km to the nearest town (carsac-Alliac) which had some lovely shops and a few restaurants although we didn't test them out. There was a very nice farm shop that The owner recommended that was all locally grown and reared produce that was about a 5 min drive away, would recommend this for your shop, although some things we needed to get from the supermarket about 10 mins away in Sarlet. This was the ideal base for site seeing around the Dordogne and we ventured out to some gorgeous villages and chateaus which are a must see. If you like canoeing then you are spoilt for choice along the river of places to hire one from. We can't recommend this house enough, it was very touching for the owners to invite us to share a drink with them before we left and hear all about their time at the house and how special it is to them. We will undoubtedly be returning for a future relaxing holiday. Thank you so much

Amazing property with privacy

We loved this rental. Beautiful quiet location, but close to all that the Dordogne has to offer. The owners are so kind and the property is perfect. Plenty of space. It had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place. The pool is amazing. It is attached to the main house, but it is very private.

Een geslaagd verblijf in Dordogne

Een charmante vakantiewoning met groot zwembad, dat in de zomer zo'n 29 graden warm is. In een rustige buurt gelegen, maar toch vlakbij het gezellige stadje Sarlat. De eigenaars waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wifi werkte maar op 2 kamers goed, in de andere ruimtes en buiten was er geen verbinding. Wij zijn heel tevreden over onze vakantie en kunnen ze iedereen aanraden.

Beautiful, peaceful family holiday

This is a wonderful holiday home, comfortable and furnished with charm and style. We spent a very happy week here that we will always remember. The pool is perfect for a family - a good size and immaculately maintained. Our hosts Genette and her husband were delightful, making sure we had what we needed, and passing on useful advice about the area, but always sensitive to our privacy. The location is absolutely perfect - 1km from a charming local village, and a short drive from all the joys of the Dordogne - caves, kayaking, history, beauty, gastronomy... I would wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home for families and couples.

Nous avons passé un super moment dans cette magnifique propriété située dans un cadre calme, verdoyant et aux énergies positives! Les 2 propriétaires sont charmants et accueillants, prêts à nous aider et à nous conseiller dans la recherche de ballades et visites. La maison est idéalement située pour découvrir cette magnifique région; Sarlat n'est qu'à quelques km, ainsi que Groléjac, la Dordogne et ses canoës, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, les châteaux.... Bref, un séjour reposant, enrichissant et dépaysant.

Séjour très agréable

Le gîte est très bien situé, proche de Sarlat la Canéda et plein d'autres sites touristiques. Le décor est agréable avec une belle piscine. Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et sympathiques. On y retournerait volontier.

Excellent sejour

Location très bien située : à proximité des lieux touristiques mais au calme. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et le gîte est très fonctionnel. Nos enfants ont beaucoup profité du jardin et de la piscine très bien entretenue. Nous recommanderons cette adresse.
