This delightful home located in Eastsound on Orcas Island is modern, clean, and full of light. It features main floor living with the primary bedroom (king-size bed) and bath on the same floor as the living, dining, and kitchen. On the lower floor you'll find a TV room, with sleeper sofa, second bedroom with two twin beds a comfy window seat, and full bath. The separation from the main floor to the lower level is very accommodating for people who want a little privacy from other guests or just some quiet time to themselves.

Nightly rates are based on two people. It's $20/night for each additional guest over two.

Pet fee is $65

Amazing view and home

Absolutely loved our stay here. The view is stunning and the house is well-appointed. We appreciated how dog-friendly the home is and how close it is to Eastsound. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot

Location is great. Right next to Eastsound. Drive up the hill to the house is a bit steep and gravelly, but we were able to get a Prius up there easily. View from the house is fantastic. Hoping to stay again in the future.

Beautiful & Well-Appointed Orcas Home Base

We stayed at this property in February 2025 with an 8-month old baby and found it incredibly suited to our needs. It was easy to find from the ferry, very conveniently located near downtown Eastsound and all of the restaurants and shops, and extremely well outfitted. We had everything needed to cook, store and reheat food. The house had books for our little ones and puzzles for mom & dad. There were umbrellas, beach towels, and all of the cleaning supplies needed to keep up with a baby on the move. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and the view each morning was stunning. This home is right on the flight path for incoming seaplanes, and we enjoyed tracking their arrivals from the kitchen windows. Excellent stay! Great for a family who will spend a decent amount of time at home in between exploring the island(s).

What A View!

Location was the perfect home base for exploring Orcas Island! The house worked well for two couples, but would also be great for a family with children. There are toys, games, and even a pack-n-play crib. The kitchen was well equipped including some standard spices and olive oil. The house was spotlessly clean, and communication with host was excellent. Saving the best for last - the view is spectacular!

Excellent in every way!!

Home was very clean, thoughtfully well appointed with quality cooking and household items, games/toys for children, and matched the property description perfectly. We loved our stay and would love to return again! Location is a 7-minute walk to Eastsound for easy access to town. Communication with owner before our arrival was always great, and we appreciated the helpful suggestions for meals, activities, sights, etc. while we visited.

Wonderful stay on Orcas Island

We rented this house for a week and loved it. We have a toddler, so we wanted a relaxing, comfortable home, in a central location on Orcas, and this place fit the bill in every way. We loved having breakfast on the porch each morning, and my daughter slept and napped comfortably in the downstairs bedroom. There were also toys in the house, which we appreciated so much! The house is a short walk from town, though it is up a big hill, so we drove due to not wanting to carry our kid up the hill. But that said, we went to town almost every day and found the location of the home to be a perfect launching point for all kinds of Orcas Island activities. We had a relaxing, wonderful week and would absolutely stay here again.

Great view!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lookout. House was as described- all the amenities and the incredible view. Just a short walk to town though a bit of a workout getting back up the hill to the house. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying the warmth of the sun with the blue water in the distance. We would definitely rent this place again.

Wonderful home

We had the best trip staying at this beautiful home on Orcas. It is so clean, updated and modern. The ocean views from the back yard steal the show. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking which was very helpful. The home is just down a hill and one street over from the Main Street, it was so convenient to the market or go to the shops and restaurants. Short drive to Moran state park for kayaking and a wonderful waterfall hike. A magical trip!

My friends and I had such a great time here! House was beautiful as were the views! Great kitchen, bedrooms, living spaces… I would DEFINITELY book this house again! Just a few minute drive from town and easily walkable… And the owner was very attentive and gave us fantastic recommendations and the attention to detail was amazing!

Amazing Stay

What a Lovely property this was! I came with my husband and my parents who are visiting from the East Coast and the location was absolutely perfect. Very close to downtown, incredibly clean, and the views were breathtaking! We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony every morning. Five stars! And excellent communication with the host as well. We will definitely be coming back!

My son Reed and I built this home in 2013/2014. It's a labor of love and a dream come true for me. A long time visitor to the island since 1998 when I was married at Rosario Resort. After visiting several times a year we got an opportunity to own a little place of our own here on this beautiful island.
I wanted it to feel like a getaway and be completely different from our home in Bellingham, hence the modern design and bright colors. It's fun and always puts a smile on my face. I also wanted to capture the amazing view and have a whole wall of windows facing south to the inlet of Eastsound. Having all the window focused on just one wall also provides an amazing amount of privacy. You can't help but stare out the window where you can see eagles soaring and the occasional small plane flying into town.
