A good location and very nice apartment and well equipped with a south facing balcony.
The apartment was within 5 minutes walk to the beach at Armaceo de Pera and is clean and adequate. Armaceo de Pera has a beautiful beach with many cafeterias and shops and a Portuguese atmosphere. There are plenty of supermarkets in the area that are reasonable in prices and a Pingo Doce which is a larger supermarket within walking distance. The only downside about the apartment was that as it was next to a main through road so it was difficult to sleep well at night as the road was very noisy! It was very warm being September the temperature was in the 30s by day so at night we had to open the windows which made sleeping difficult with road noise, there is air conditioning in the apartment but not good for your health to leave on all night. The mattresses are also very firm also there is no electric kettle so bring your own! The owner speaks English and is very helpful and despite sleeping problems we had an enjoyable stay.
