Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: The small village of Milson boasts an 11th century church and beautiful unspoilt countryside. The nearby riverside village of Neen Sollars dates back to the Saxon times and is home to the popular 'Live and Let Live' pub serving real ale and home-cooked food. Just three miles away, beneath the shadow of the mystical Clee Hills, the pretty town of Cleobury Mortimer provides a refreshing selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in an array of Georgian and Tudor architecture, along with a striking parish church with an unusual, twisted spire.

Just Great!
We have just spent three nights at Ham’s House, using it as a base to spend a day at the Severn Vslley Railway snd a day at the Ironbridge Museums. It was the perfect place, had everything one could possibly need with a welcoming host, comfortable bed, good shower, modern kitchen, log burner and comfortable seating in the lounge. Very highly recommended.

Harm's House is charming. Just the right size for two, comfortable and well equipped. Surrounded by pretty countryside and close to lots of things to do and see.
