We loved our stay and the home is perfect. Great space, views and location. Communication was smooth and even when we had a need, we got a fast response and solution which made it so our trip wasnt impacted.Would absolutely return.
Area was in a heat wave which we were not expecting therefore the bedroom was hot at night. No AC which listing reflected but only one small fan so we went and bought a fan. Neighborhood quiet. Cooking utensils could stand to be refreshed but we were able to cook. The tv arrangement is a little awkward with where direct tv box is so you have to be careful where you’re pointing to change channels.
I would give this home a 10 out of 10. Communication with owners was very easy and responsive. the house is well equipped and very comfortable. Great location to the lake. We used the pool and hot tub often.
Picking up the volume for the TV my comments located new Jersey talk tiny I years old it was only four months Life about memories five we need to do we can do this instead all the trophies that we won no she looks like look at the yellow I like it
…what a great spot! Wife and 3 kids 14/12/10 had a terrific time at the chalet. Location is great. Owner v responsive and professional. Recommend for family!
We stayed for the long weekend and celebrated our two year olds birthday with hikes and beach trips. This is a great place to stay with young children as it has eating utensils, cabinet locks and lots of books which we read most of. Patio is great and enclosed.
We had a great time. The house was clean and very well kept. My boys loved the fact that the shuttle was just a short walk down the hill. Definitely will be back!
Our three night stay at this home was the perfect location for skiing at Mount Rose. The house was spotless upon arrival with all necessary amenities (toaster, utensils, dishes, etc.). Bedding and towels were all clean and bathrooms were immaculate. Would recommend these hosts as they provided all necessary information along with contact information.
My wife, son & I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. Everything in it worked well, great location, easy parking & very roomy. I would highly recommend this property for your next stay in North Lake Tahoe & we plan to be back in the future!
Perfect for a family of four traveling with a dog. Be advised they do not allow you to leave your dog alone at the home unless they are kenneled. Our dog also had a tricky time navigating the spiral stairs, but figured it out eventually.
The kitchen is great with two sinks and a nice Bosch gas range. The open floor plan was great for family time and we enjoyed a football Saturday.
The home definitely gets regular cleaning with fixtures, bathrooms, bedrooms, and sweeping, but don’t look up. This home could use a spiff up on cobwebs/dust on ceilings, vents, & light fixtures. Behind and under furniture was also grimy. We didn’t mind terribly and is somewhat common to see this in rentals.
We loved staying here and would recommend it to others.
Our family had a wonderful stay in Incline Village. The house was perfect for our 3 night stay. Karin was a great host. The house was clean, centrally located to all of the things we wanted to do, and extremely comfortable. The whole process was easy. It was a great stay.
The house was warm, inviting and in the perfect location for skiing. less than 5 min drive to Diamond Peak. It had everything we needed and was very clean. We will definitely be visiting again.
House was in a great location for getting to ski resorts. It had an open kitchen/living area that was ideal for spending family time. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking…which we did a lot of. Finally, owners were very friendly and accessible for questions.
We found this home to be great stay in Tahoe for our family. It has a very spacious downstairs living/kitchen area with a half bath, and two bedrooms upstairs. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub across the street and the place was a short drive to restaurants and other amenities. The hosts were gracious and good communicators.
This is the third time we rented this house, so obviously we like it. Quiet but close to lots of Tahoe attractions. We enjoyed the pool and tennis courts.
We stayed at this fantastic property for 5 nights in June. We felt so at home, everything that we needed was there and it was super clean. The layout of the property is great. Our kids (age 2 and 6) loved the jacuzzi bath and the bunk beds. The pool and hot tub are a 1 minute walk from the property and are fab. Everyone that we met was very nice. We would definitely stay again.

Housekeeping didn't clean before arrival - Owner resolved
When we arrived, the downstairs toilet completely overflowed after my daughter used it and spilled throughout the room. There was not plunger to fix it, so we were left cleaning the room and leaving it as is.
From there we realized the entire house was not yet cleaned. Housekeeping never came and it was late in the evening, so we needed to clean all the bedding, towels ourselves and couldn't get the kids (age 3 + 6) to bed until after 10pm (they normally go to sleep between 7:30-8p). The owner was very responsive and had cleaners to the house the next morning. She also had the toilet fixed and ordered a plunger (which arrived while we were there). She resolved all the issues, it was just a horrible first 24 hours at the house. She made good on it by crediting us for the first nights stay + cleaning fees since we did a chunk of the cleaning and shouldn't have had to. There was a glitch with her housekeeper who she noted was normally reliable. I think this was just a random case of bad luck, hence why I'm giving 4 stars vs anything less.
Karin and Will’s chalet was exactly what my family and I were looking for for a weekend in Tahoe. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location—five minutes from Diamond Peak by shuttle—is excellent. Our kids were thrilled to see a wide selection of middle-grade books and they spent hours playing in the snow behind the house. Karin was very communicative and there were clear instructions at the house for things like working the thermostat and checking out. Overall, a great place to stay!
