Unglaublich schön !!
Vorab eine kurze Zusammenfassung: Es war einfach alles perfekt !! Wir sind mit 13 Erwachsenen und einem 1 Jahr alten Kind für 2 Wochen in der Unterkunft gewesen und es war einfach unglaublich. Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Lage in einem kleinen Wäldchen, aber nicht abgeschieden. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, damit braucht man keine 5 MInuten zum Supermarkt, Bäcker oder in die Stadt Salernes bzw. 5 Minuten zusätzlich bis Villecroze. Einige Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Anwesen ist riesig mit einem tollen Garten, zwei großen Tischen (einer vor dem Haus mit toller Aussicht, einer am Poolhäuschen) an denen man jerweils zu 14 Leuten platz findet. Eine kleine Wiese für Strandtennis, Fußbal oder was auch immer ist auch auf dem Anwesen. Der Pool ist wirklich groß, sodass man auch ein paar "Bahnen" schwimmen kann (15 m). Außerdem ist er angenehm frisch aber nicht eiskalt und nicht so "Pipiwarm". Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind wahnsinnig schön und fast alle mit Balkon. Allerdings haben wir uns fast überhaupt nicht im Haus aufgehalten. Dafür ist die "Outdoor-Küche" am Poo direkt einfach zu genial. Bestens ausgestattet mit allem was das Herz begehrt (Kaffemschiene, 2 riesigen Kühl- und Gefrierschränken mit Eiswürfelspender, Friteuse, Mikrowelle, Induktionsherd, riesen Webergrill, Wasserkocher und reichlich Kochutensilien. EIne Speisekammer ist direkt angeschlossen, man muss eigentlich nie ins Haus. Es gibt eine Hängematte und schöne Poolliegen. Außerdem ist wirklich alles sauber und sehr gepflegt.... Ausflüge in die Schlucht von Verdon für wirkliche jegliche Freizeit- und Adventure-Action sind mit dem Auto kein Problem. Michel ist für wirkliche alle Probleme und Fragen zu Verfügung, hilft bei der Restaurantwahl oder sonstigen Wünschen. Der Umgang ist herzlich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sogar ein tolles Willkommensgeschenk gab es für uns. Vielen Dank für alles Michel, wir werden die Zeit bei Dir nie vergessen und ich kann diesen Kontakt/diese Unterkunft wirklich jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen !!! Dominik (Hamburg, Deutschland) PS: Die Bewertung ist auf deutsch geschrieben, da bislang nur französische und englische Bewertungen da sind und es vielleicht einige gibt, die sich damit schwer tun. Übrigens spricht Michel prima deutsch ;-) neben englisch und natürlich französisch.

Super!
We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in het huis van Michel Gaumon. Het huis is groot, heel schoon en echt van alle gemakken voorzien! De buitenkeuken is geweldig en de tuin en het zwembad zijn super. Dit was de eerste keer dat wij via Homeaway hebben geboekt en wij waren ietwat sceptisch maar dat was in het geheel niet nodig. Michel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug!

Exceptionnelle maison !
Nous avons passé une semaine formidable en famille (7 adultes, 3 enfants) dans un magnifique cadre verdoyant. La piscine est grande, facile d'accès. La vaste cuisine d'été est le must de cette maison ! Tout notre séjour s'est déroulé à l'extérieur. Il y a différentes excursions dans les environs (marchés, ballades, gorges du Verdon), le tout accessible rapidement. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location et le propriétaire, M. Michel Gaumon, est une personne très serviable.

A beautiful peaceful place.
Our stay was full of joy, we loved every minute. We, the grandparents, were there with our 4 daughters, husbands and 9 grandchildren ( aged 2-12). The villa is luxurious, spacious, well maintained and surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers and lots of shady places. Every night we had our dinner, mostly barbecue, next to the pool, where there was an extremely well-equipped kitchen and a table who could seat at least 14 persons. During the day the grandchildren played ball, ping pong and badminton, and were practically the whole day in the big infinity pool while the parents read a book in the hammock or were sunbathing! Before going to bed the kids loved to watch TV on the huge screen. The time we spent there was a feast for all of us.The owner, Michel Gaumon, was very helpful and always available when needed. An elegant country home, with superb facilities.
We were four families with children and this property offered something for everyone. The large clean pool with outside kitchen and dining were a massive hit. We lived outside all day and only used the beautiful house for sleeping, although the house was big enough if we had bad weather, which did not happen. Lovely secluded location and the owner made sure we had everything we needed and offered great support if anything was needed. The nearby villages offer much of interest and some good restaurants. The countryside is stunning but transport is essential. The local markets were a great souce for food and Provencal life. Would not hesitate to return or recommend and all of us felt the same. Great place and lovely memories.

I highly recommend this Maison
Mister Gaumons Maison is absolutely fantastic with beautiful, large swimmingpool and a garden full of flowers. We were four Danish families (14) with small childreen staying there for one week in July 2015. The pool is very nice. Ufortunately the small pool was full of wasps. What makes this a five-star is the outdoor kitchen, it is well-equipped. Practually we lives by the pool and kitchen. The small village Villecroze is very cozy and has some nice restaurants. I highly recommend this place and hopefully I will return one day:-)

Calme et volupte
Une très grande maison très agréable et parfaitement équipée . Le must ,c est le jardin avec la grande piscine et la pool house ou nous avons passé 90 pour cent du séjour. L e jardin parfaitement entretenu et la pinède donnent l'impression d être coupé du monde et le calme est complet. On sent que lle propriétaire fort sympathique. Apporte beaucoup de soin à sa maison. Un séjour très réussi avec des amis nombreux! Je recommande vivement.

L'OSCAR de notre MEILLEURE maison de vacances
Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine au Mas des Ecureuils avec plusieurs couples d'amis comme nous en avons maintenant l'habitude depuis près de 10 ans. Les prestations sont de TRÈS grande qualité : propreté des lieux impeccable, grandes surfaces intérieures et très soignées, espaces extérieurs exceptionnels, aménagement de la cuisine d'été dont le niveau d'équipement est proche de celui des professionnels de la restauration !... Cette maison doté d'un charme singulier, placé à l'abri des regards est le lieu idéal pour se reposer, profiter du calme absolu et partager des moments de vie inoubliables. Enfin, je tiens à souligner la qualité de l'accueil que nous a réservé le propriétaire. Étant devenu au fil des années plus des voyagistes que des vacanciers !, nous avons décerné collectivement à cette maison l'Oscar de notre Meilleure et plus Belle maison de vacance. H.

"Séjour fantastique dans une maison idéale pour des vacances entre amis et, ou, en famille. La maison est suffisamment isolée et protégée pour pouvoir se sentir chez soi sans craindre de déranger le voisinage. Tout est prévu pour que les locataires puissent déconnecter et se sentir à des années lumières du quotidien : Piscine à débordement, pataugeoire pour les enfants, palmiers, oliviers et cèdres pour calfeutrer et ombrager l’ensemble.  Nous avons également apprécié la taille de la maison qui permet à chaque couple ou famille de se créer son espace d’intimité. Des propriétaires top! Bref, on reviendra !     "

"Magnificent location; be...
"Magnificent location; beautiful house in a pleasant calm situation! We were especially enthusiastic about the outdoor-kitchen (near the swimming-pool) which is perfectly equipped so that we spent the most of our two weeks outside;(which is also a little pity, because inside is very beautiful as well). The kids (9, 7, 7, 5, 3) loved the big swimming-pool, even the little ones, they were delighted with the little paddling pool (which was a nice surprise, as it was not mentioned in the details). We would not hesitate going back. It was just AMAZING!!!"
