Very well-equipped and cosy apartment in a gated community.Quiet , peaceful ,set on the eastern flank of Mount Etna, it enjoys spectacular views of the volcano. It is surrounded by the countryside at 400 mt from the beach. The position is ideal for people who want to go sightseeing and enjoy the closeness of the sea.Free Internet wifi. Air conditioning.
The apartment is on the first floor, it has a double bedroom; a living with a sofa bed, a dining table and a perfectly equipped kitchen; a bathroom with shower. It sleeps four but we can add one more bed or a cot on request. There are two balconies opening in the living room and in the bedroom, and a terrace of 25 mq where you can have relaxing dinners enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the place and the view of Etna.There's a lot of space for kids to run around safely, a garden with playground area and a shared pool that is usually open from mid June to mid September -
Facilities: shower, electric oven, dish washer, fridge, washing machine, iron, toaster, tv set, linen and towels included , reserved car park close to the apartment , outdoor furniture , sunshade parasol, barbecue.The owners will welcome you and will be always on hand if you need help or advice.
The location is ideal in any period of the year for exploring the east of Sicily and enjoying spectacular excursions on Mount Etna, since it`s only 1 km from the Sicilian eastern main road (ss 114) and 5 km from the exit of the motorway "Giarre". Taormina is a 15 min drive away (15 Km); the beautiful long beach has a good range of "lidi" in summer( beach clubs offering facilities). The apartment is close the newly built "Porto dell`Etna" ( Etna`s marina ) where you can find the fish market, and a lot of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Sofa bed was a disaster, place was small for a family of 5 with 2 dogs, barely any space to move about, when sofa bed was open. Pool had rules that were not mentioned anywhere within detailed description by the owner and the location was in a long dark street cluttered with rubbish. Never again.

Beautiful place, lovely stay

We had such a great stay, great facilities and kitchen utensils. It was very close to the beach and only a 25 minute walk from shops and restaurants. Cinzia and her husband are so kind and generous and helped us when we needed it! Really recommend this place to stay

Leuk appartement mooi uitzicht op Etna.

Eigenaren erg fijne mensen en weten veel dingen van Sicilië. Directe omgeving van het appartementencomplex is niet schoon, maar dat is een beetje de siciliaanse mentaliteit... wanneer je daar geen moeite mee hebt is het een heel fijne plek om de vakantie door te brengen. Oh ja, was ons niet bekend dat het zwembad vanaf 15 september gesloten is voor iedereen die zich aan de regels moet houden... Dat is ook iets Siciliaans.. niet iedereen hoeft zich aan alle regels te houden..

À recommander

Cinzia est une personne très gentille, elle parle bien en français. Très bon accueil. Très bon échange. L’appartement est propre, cuisine bien équipée. À la télé quelques chaînes françaises. L’appartement se trouve dans un village de vacances où souvent il y a des animations. La piscine est grande mais il y a pas mal de vacanciers. La plage pas loin mais pas vraiment belle. Pour rejoindre les belles plages de Taormina et de Catania ou Etna il faut absolument avoir une voiture. Attention aux zones ZTL! Les points négatifs : le matelas dans le salon inconfortable, cuisine mal éclairée, l’impossibilité de faire fonctionner deux appareils en même temps pex la clim et la bouilloire ou le four et la machine à laver, etc car l’électricité saute. Nous avons eu aussi une autre mauvaise surprise : la coupure d’eau pendant 24h. À part cela pas de soucis, nous avons passé un agréable séjour et nous pouvons recommander cette location.

Séjour agréable. Appartement bien situé qui permet d’acceder aux grandes zones touristiques Catane Tiormina Syracuse Etna. Le fait d’avoir la piscine permet de se délasser après une journée de visite. Le maître nageur est un peu trop strict et parle seulement italien et les horaires de la piscine pourraient être plus larges. Je recommande fortement ce logement

Séjour agréable dans appartement très propre

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans le logement de Cinzia. Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec une petite douceur typiquement Sicilienne en prime. Le logement est plus que propre et équipé de tout le nécessaire pour profiter de son séjour. Le seul petit point négatif est la douche qui est un peu petite mais ce n'est qu'un détail à côté de tout ce qu'offre le logement (magnifique vue sur l'Etna de la terrasse, transat, piscine dans la résidence et porte d'accès à la plage pour y arriver en quelques minutes). Cinzia est très disponible et réactive s'il manque quelque chose : pour notre part, le barbecue n'était pas là quand nous sommes arrivé dans le logement, un nouveau barbecue nous a été ramené dès le lendemain matin. Je recommande fortement ce logement, idéalement situé pour visiter l'Est de la Sicile.

The appartment overall is nice : clean, good location and Cinzia and her husband are very friendly. It is a shame that the sofa is aweful, even with the additional mattress. We had to put the additional mattress on the floor to get an acceptable "bed". Otherwise there are many area around that are great place to visit.. especially Etna ☺ It's worth the trip !

Très bon séjour

Nous sommes restés 10 jours dans cette location et y avons passé un agréable séjour. L'ambiance de la résidence est familiale. La résidence est sécurisée, tout comme l'accès au logement et à sa terrasse. L'appartement est spacieux, agréable, propre et très bien équipé. J'ai tout particulièrement apprécié la vue de la terrasse sur l'Etna et ses fumerolles au coucher du soleil. La propriétaire est gentille et disponible durant la durée du séjour. Je recommande cette location et y retournerai avec plaisir.

Un appart très agréable et un très bon rapport qualité/prix

L' appartement est très spacieux, climatisé et bien conçu même si le canapé lit est un peu fatigué.Il y a une très belle vue de l'Etna et il est très bien situé pour visiter le coin.La piscine est agréable après les visites de la journée. Pour cette dernière, penser aux bonnets de bain et aux horaires sont contraints par ceux du maître nageur (fermeture 19h30). Merci à Cinzia pour cet accueil très chaleureux.

idéal pour un couple avec un jeune enfant

Nous avons bénéficié de cet appartement durant quatre jours. L'appartement est situé dans une résidence fermée et sécurisée avec jeux pour enfants et piscine, les petites maisons abritent plusieurs appartements et n'ont qu'un étage (dimension très humaine et donc agréable). L'appartement a une jolie vue sur l'Etna et est bien équipé (machine à laver, wifi....), la décoration soignée et la propriétaire agréable. Mais je voulais vous préciser plusieurs points que j'aurais aimé connaître avant de partir: Le règlement de la piscine n'est pas mentionné : le bonnet de bain est obligatoire (si vous n'en avez pas, un bazar rue principale de Mascali en vend à 1euro) et la piscine est surveillée donc les horaires sont limités: 10h à 13h et 16h à 19h30 (bon à savoir quand même vu les chaleurs de l'été sicilien...) Il existe normalement une clé pour accéder plus rapidement à pied vers la plage d'après la propriétaire, il n'y en avait en fait pas sur notre trousseau. Pensez à vérifier avec la propriétaire qu'elle existe vraiment le jour de votre arrivée et la tester avec elle car ce passage est super pratique et sympa (quand on a la clé....). La plage toute proche (4min) sinon en voiture est de tous petits cailloux (super pour les petits et les grands) et elle a une jolie vue sur l'Etna. Le canapé-lit a accueilli nos deux enfants mais il n'est pas adapté à des adultes, vraiment ne pas prévoir d'y faire dormir des adultes à cause des ressorts (on a dû mettre le matelas au sol pour pouvoir même y faire dormir nos deux enfants). Il existe un lit bébé, donc idéal pour un couple avec un jeune enfant. La literie de la chambre fermée est de bonne qualité. Bon séjour!
