We are located at 1365 Herr's Ridge Rd., Gettysburg, PA, 17325.
Please note that reservations may be made no more than 12 months in advance, and no less than 5 days in advance.

Private, clean, and comfortable, this 550-square foot suite offers peace, quiet, and natural beauty close to the historic battlefields, monuments, and museums of Gettysburg. Less than a mile from the Oak Ridge battlefield, National Park Service station, and Seminary Ridge, we offer a secluded getaway when the day’s sightseeing is done.

A spacious deck with chairs, patio table, and flowers leads to a private entrance. The entryway has a café table and chairs, perfect for morning coffee. A large mirrored closet provides storage, and wall maps display the action of all three days of the Battle of Gettysburg.

The kitchenette has a sink, ample cabinet space, and all necessary appliances and conveniences: refrigerator with freezer, Keurig coffeemaker (ingredients provided), microwave oven, bowls, plates, silverware, pots, pans, teapot, and hotplate.

The living area features a comfortable suede loveseat, propane fireplace, ceiling fan, writing desk with lamp, and smart TV equipped with several streaming services. The bookcase has cabinets and drawers for clothes and other personal items. The suite has free wi-fi.

The bathroom has a combination tub and shower, a large vanity and mirror, towels of all sizes, and hair dryer. Body wash, hand soap, and air freshener are provided.

The bedroom, admitting morning light through east-facing windows, has swinging French doors. The bed is a comfortable queen-size with Memory Foam mattress. Linens are provided. There are nightstands and reading lamps, digital alarm clock, bureau, and mirror. On the wall is an adjustable heating-and-cooling unit.

Please note that this suite is most suited to individuals and couples (1-2 people). But we have accommodated families as well, and offer inflatable mattresses in all sizes.

The minimum length of stay is two (2) nights. Maximum stay is three weeks (21 nights). Stays of seven (7) nights or more receive a 40% discount.

We don't permit pets or smoking in the suite.

No firearms of any kind are permitted on the property.

Check-in is 3 pm. Check-out is 12 pm. We are flexible on both, depending on guest needs and other circumstances.

100% refund if reservation is canceled at least 30 days before arrival.

Comfortable place

This apartment is perfect for a couple. It has everything you would need. Nice area with a large back yard facing the mountains. My wife and I hit the battlefield every morning and then (because it was soooo hot out) we came back to the apartment to cool off. The home is located on a artillery position for the confederates. That I found very cool in itself!. The owner, Devin, was very accommodating and easy to work with. We had no issues with the apartment. I highly recommend this place and if we go to Gettysburg again, I plan to stay here.

Perfect Gettysburg Spot

The property was spotless, comfortable and well laid out. Devin was accessible and responded quickly when we needed to adjust our schedule. Located on Herr’s Ridge, you are on the outskirts of the battlefield. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very clean and tidy suite.

This suite is perfect for two maybe 3 people. Nice fireplace. Could use two luggage stands for convenience. I would recommend this for sure. Close to everything we needed.

All I can say is perfect!!! The owners were easy to work with. The location is perfect to explore the battle field or just the surrounding area. The place was very clean, and super cozy. We loved the battle filed themed décor. We will be back!

Amazing and Quiet Place

Absolutely the BEST vacation I've EVER had! It was quiet, relaxing, and nearby town center where all the fun stuff was at! Host was amazing! The room was a side addition to their house that is separated from the rest of their home. Very Enjoyable!

We had a great time in Gettysburg. It was the first time my girlfriend has ever been there and she had a wonderful experience. The rental was very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with any necessities that we may have needed. We also enjoyed the outdoor space at nighttime to listen to music and look at the sky which was lined with many stars. We would definitely recommend this space to anyone who may be interested in exploring the Gettysburg area.

A Perfect Stay

I stayed at this lovely 1 bedroom during the week of July 4, while I was in Gettysburg for a conference. It could not have been more perfect and it filled all my check boxes: - sparking clean - private - quiet - comfortable - lots of light - stylish design - convenient - easy access with great parking - responsive and kind owners. I could not recommend this Gettysburg jewel more highly. If I plan another trip to Gettysburg, I will definitely reach out to Devin and Kathy!

Very Peaceful

We really enjoyed staying here for 4 days while visiting Gettysburg. Felt like home nice area, quite and very clean Devin and Kathy do a great job in making it comfortable and nice just wished we could have stayed longer. In the future we will look forward to staying here again.

Gettysburg Getaway

Great stay

Place was very clean and well maintained. Due to accidents on the highway we arrived later than anticipated and stayed in contact with the owner and had no problems checking in once we finally arrived. The place is far enough away from the center that is nice and quiet but everything is with in a 10 min drive.

Great Gettysburg Choice!

The property was exactly as advertised. A lovely small apartment with plenty of storage, and space, plus lots of little details added. I loved the location. After busy days it was great to return to a peaceful country setting. This is a perfect location to Gettysburg and the battlefield. I would return without hesitation. Devin and Kathy were very nice hosts.

Gettysburg For Two

Loved the location, close to town and park, but with a country feeling thanks to the huge field in back.Very well-organized, lots of documentation, small but excellent library of books on Gettysburg/Civil War. Nice big,new TV. The place is very small, and has its quirks: odd layout (closet not in bedroom), tiny kitchenette with dim lighting, lots of sharp edges (barked our shins on bedframe), no shampoo or conditioner. For one or two people who don’t plan on doing a lot of cooking, however, this is a very clean and very quiet base for exploring the battlefields.

Perfect for couples of any ages.

This VRBO is a one level apartment with a living room, bedroom, kitchen & bath- all very clean and comfortable and in a very nice neighborhood just a 10 minute drive to the center of Gettysburg. We enjoyed our stay and have already recommended others.
