The house is exceptionally beautiful, set on acres of manicured lawns and is carefully landscaped.
The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, well stocked, and well organized. There are four bedrooms, and any of them could have been the master. The bathroom on the first floor is part of the master suite. There is a formal living room and a den with a large tv.
The pool area is unusually spacious. It is located a few yards from the house, and has a pool house with a rest room, dining table, and living room. The pool is very large for a private pool, and is clean and well stocked with floats and toys.
As you exit the property to Creek Rd., you find yourself immediately on a trail in Pennypack Trust, which offers miles of scenic hiking trails, some also allowing bicycles. We spent many hours hiking here and searching for wildlife. We saw beaver, deer, a turkey vulture, and heron; in fact, we saw a magnificent heron at the creek and moments later he (or his twin) visited the pool at the house, walking around before he realized there was nothing to eat there. Luckily we were having coffee on the patio and noticed his head above the hedge!
In our years of renting houses, we usually have some problems, resulting from managers not noticing that light bulbs were burned out, or that the batteries in the CO detectors needed changing. This house was perfect: all the lights, appliances, and AV worked; items like the pool light were labelled; clear instructions were left; all the beds were comfortable, including luxurious bed clothes.
It was a great experience.
