Experience true rustic luxury at the best location on Lake Blue Ridge. Incredible & rare lake and mountain views in one rental location are combined with the beauty of a newer and tastefully decorated rustic home that will please the most meticulous vacationer. This home is only 5 miles from downtown Blue Ridge on all paved roads and sits on the western shoreline (Blue Ridge side of the lake, not the Morganton side) of the main body of the lake. Beautiful lake and mountain views from several bedrooms, great room, as well as from a wrap around deck and terrace patio. All paved roads lead to the house so no need for 4x4.

A private covered dock with an open slip is ready for your boat. 250 ft. of lake shore so you won't feel crowded & remains floating in the wide cove all year round. The new dock has shade below or a large sun deck with plenty of seating and lounging. Umbrellas provided for more shade on top. 2nd slip available to renters for your boat. Kayaks available for your lake pleasure as well as floats for chilling in the lake.

Enjoy S'mores at the large stone fire pit near the lake shore or at the stacked stone fireplace on the covered deck. Large eating area in dining room seats 8 plus seating for 4 at counter. (2) king beds on upper level, (2) queen and (2) full size beds on lower level fit comfortably in 4 bedrooms all with their own bathroom/shower. Luxury bedding and towels. USB ports near every bed as well as one in kitchen.

Family getaway

We had a great time at this wonderful property. Christine was helpful and a great host. We had a strong storm one evening and the generator kicked on right when the power went out. I recommend this house to anyone.

One of the cleanest homes we’ve stayed in. It had everything we needed in it. Beautiful views, and perfect setup, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable with nice quality linens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Weekend Stay! Beautiful Home!

We love Blue Ridge and all it has to offer. I was looking for a place to celebrate my husband’s birthday and decided a weekend with a small group of friends and family would be perfect. From the time I booked this beautiful lakefront home absolutely everything when smoothly. The host, Christine, is excellent and the website content answered all of my questions. The home is situated on a lovely lakeside lot with amazing views. From the time we walked in until the time we left we felt warmly welcomed and confident all of our needs would be met. We certainly were not disappointed. From the fully appointed kitchen to the amazingly comfortable beds, to the endless supply of hot water, to gathering around the outdoor fireplace with soft fuzzy blankets, it was so very relaxing and peaceful. I can speak for the eight adults who live, as most of us do, a rather stressful life, it was truly a breath of fresh air both literally and figuratively. Thank you Chris for sharing this wonderful place with us. We all hope to return soon.

wonderful getaway

we came with 2 other couples that we have known since college(over 50 years ago!) and had a great time! your home was the perfect place for us to spend time relaxing, laughing and of course eating! the house is spacious with beautiful comfortable furnishings. we loved sitting out on the many decks, porches, at the fire pit and on top of the dock. we had chef amy (brcateringbyamy.com) cook our dinners for the 3 nights we were there. she loved the kitchen! it was such a treat to not have to worry about what we were doing for dinner! thank you again for sharing your home! we are already trying to figure out when we will return in 2024!

Favorite Annual Vacation

Out of all experiences with VRBO, Christine is our favorite hostess. The home is absolutely beautiful and well stocked including extras… Christine thinks of everything from the linens, to the kitchenware, to the floats for the lake. This is our absolute favorite stay!

Family getaway

We were impressed with everything. We loved the fireplaces especially on the deck hanging out at night. The dock was great during the day and kayaking on the lake was awesome. The house had everything you needed to make your vacation great. Will definitely be going back. Just loved it.

25th Wedding Anniversary’s

The place was perfect, great view, great amenities and very comfortable. Three of us couples were looking for a romantic place to share our mile stone’s and this was it. We enjoyed the Lake and Blue Ridge. Christine our host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Another great stay

This was our third visit to the lake house and I’m already counting the days until we can return. It’s my happy place, and the whole family loves it. Plenty of room for our family of four plus the grandparents. This is the best appointed house we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ve been renting vacation homes for nearly 20 years. Book Club Retreat

This is the second winter retreat at this cabin. We have stayed in multiple cabins before discovering this one and we WILL be back next year. Remarkable view, beautiful, roomy, kitchen will all amenities, indoor and outdoor fireplaces... the only down side is that the this quaint cove on a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains is being ruined by constant and everywhere construction. I grew up on Lake Lanier so I am familiar with what is happening to Blue Ridge. Breaks my heart. However, we plan on returning next winter.

Perfection on Lake Blue Ridge

We returned to this beautiful home after staying here last Christmas, and again, it doesn’t disappoint! Everything about this home is high quality and high end, as well as beautifully decorated for the holidays! The sunrises and sunsets here are incredible, and the home offers so many activities from the lake, kayaks, games, fires, etc! This is our favorite place to stay in Blue Ridge!

What makes this property unique

Each bedroom has it's own bathroom/ walk-in shower. House has views of lake and mountains which is rare for a lake rental. Located in a wide cove. Fairly level lot to lake. Very close to town. Best location with all paved access. Grocery, Walmart, Home Depot less than 10 minutes away. 5 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Many amenities included such as soaps, toilet paper, kitchen essentials, etc. We have a whole house generator in case of power failure.
